Watersound Beach Cottage - South Walton Beach Area Vacation Rental Watersound Beach Florida A Magical Coastside Getaway The first time you stroll along the wooden sidewalks at Watersound Beach, you will feel as though you’ve been transported to a modern-day village on Nantucket or Martha’s Vineyard. Watersound is a magical place nestled among tall pine trees, unique fresh water lakes and majestic sugar-white sand dunes along the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Within this new gated community lies the Crescent Keel section of Watersound, where each cottage is bordered with white picket fences and lush but natural landscaping. The Crescent Keel neighborhood is perfect for couples and families who love seclusion and relish the sounds of nature and the Gulf. At our cottage, there is plenty of room for the kids to play or for the adults to sit and relax on the back patio or our screened-in side porch. The surrounding areas are perfect for gentle bike rides in and around Watersound. Bikes are available to rent right on the premises. Scenic Highway 30A includes a spectacular 20-mile bike path where you can you stop along the way and enjoy the numerous restaurants, scenic State Parks and imaginative shops. Watersound Beach is an undiscovered gem with all the amenities of a five star resort. Included in this darling cottage with two bedrooms, three baths and a loft are all the latest appointments plus access to the private Watersound Beach Club*. This private club features a luxurious slope-sided pool perfectly designed for both small children and adults. You’ll also find private beach access right from the pool to the pristine beaches of the Gulf. As a guest at the cottage, you will have full access to the Beach Club which includes complimentary coffee and rolls served every morning by the Beach Club’s fine culinary staff, along with the day’s edition of the New York Times and Wall Street Journal. Each morning, the Club’s staff sets up chairs and umbrellas nearby beach for the exclusive use of Beach Club members and guests. Showers, bathrooms, lockers and dressing areas are located at the Club. Complimentary beach towels are available at the pool as well as the beach. The Club has a full bar and dining room serving both lunch and dinner. And the outdoor bar on the upper level is situated for an unbelievable view of spectacular sunsets framed by the dunes and a fresh water lake. A private fitness center is located on the grounds at Watersound Beach. A nominal daily fee will be charged for guests using the fitness center. Special 3 day and weekly rates are available. For the golf enthusiast, you can practice your putting at The Puttering Park. A second community pool is also available for your use. You’ll be able to enjoy lunch there at The Dunsider Grill. WaterSound has its own Post Office and full-time staff at the security gate, front desk and bicycle shop. Our two bedroom-three bath cottage with over 1600 square feet of living space is perfect for two couples or a family who wants to relax and enjoy one of the most spectacular areas along the Emerald Coast of Northwest Florida. Don’t be fooled by its size – while it has two bedrooms, it can sleep up to eight. There are two single sleeper/chairs in the loft and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. On the first floor, you’ll find a large master suite with a king-size bed, plasma screen TV and two closets. The second bedroom is upstairs and has two twin beds, two closets and TV/DVD. A private bathroom complements each bedroom. The loft area has its own flat screen TV and DVD. Each room has a ceiling fan. In the back yard, there is an outdoor shower for rinsing off sand and salt water. For those who need to stay in touch, there is also a separate office conveniently located on the first floor adjacent to the kitchen. It offers a wrap around granite workstation with file drawers, storage shelves and cubbyholes. Wireless internet available throughout the cottage. *Access to the WaterSound Beach Club is available for an additional charge of $150 per week for up to 4 people over the age of 3. There is no charge for children of age 3 and under.
