Paradise Cove Estate is a beautifully furnished, Oceanfront home which features approximately 3000 square feet of spacious living space not including the huge front deck and balcony. There are two air conditioned bedrooms in the main house with two bathrooms (one with a Jacuzzi), and a loft with a full size bed. There is one air conditioned bedroom with bathroom in the apartment. Beautiful Caribbean views can be had from each of the bedrooms upstairs and main living areas, both up and down.
Our water comes from two sources: a cistern filled with rainwater off the roof and a hand dug brackish well services the toilets. For our drinking water, we purchase it in five-gallon containers for about the equivalent of $1.50.
A stereo CD/radio is provided in the great room along with direct TV, DVD player (movies can be rented from the Reef Cinema located on the main street of Utila). For those who enjoy cooking some of their own meals, a large kitchen and back porch barbecue is also available. A coffeepot, microwave cookware, and dinnerware are also provided in the kitchen.
Our home fronts on a small bay and the only noise you are likely to hear is that of the ocean waves and music of your own choosing! On calm days there is excellent snorkeling in the bay and very few others, if any, will be using it. |
