Our stunning, romantic Paris studio apartment rental is in the heart of Paris, on the Left Bank, one block from the Eiffel Tower and steps from the river. It is surrounded by cafés, great neighborhood restaurants that the locals go to and many, many shops and local markets. It’s beautiful furnished, romantic and an ideal spot to explore all of the wonderful sites and activities in Paris. From the windows, you glimpse the Eiffel Tower to your right.
The apartment is located on the sixth floor (seventh American) of the building, with elevator, which means it is light and high above street with gorgeous views over the rooftops and of the Eiffel Tower. After all, why stay in sthe most romantic city in the world to look out onto a dark inner courtyard? Not an toption! Here, from two large sets of windows, find a gorgeous outward facing view of the beautiful buildings of the quartier and of the Champ de Mars Park.
Walk through the front door to small kitchen on your left with granite worktops, wooden doors and all modern appliances: two burner ceramic stove, microwave/convection oven combination, under-the-counter refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, etc. A skylight above provides warm light onto the counters, supplemented by halogen spots.
Just beyond the kitchen is the newly remodeled bathroom, tiled in beige limestone; it is lit naturally by a skylight and supplemented with halogen spots. There is a fixed shower, toilet and sink with good storage and plenty of chrome hooks for towels and hanging.
Walk into the main room of the studio to find a beautiful antique mirror and antique mahogany dresser. It is a compact space but extremely well planned. The beautiful oak parquet floors and windows add to the feeling of elegance and warmth. The walls are painted in creamy yellow with yellow silk curtains to match.
On the left there is a new empire style day bed. Cushions in pale green, with green plaid throw cushions contrast with the sunny yellows. The sofa is large and comfortable for sitting in during the day, converting to separate twins or dual king bed at night. Our guests appreciate the comfort and size of these sofas versus traditional sofa beds.
On the right there is an Italian cherrywood table which seats up to four for inviting guests to dinner. Blue upholstered dining chairs complete the look.
Our neighborhood in the center of Paris is the best part: there are three famous open markets are all nearby and make buying ingredients for meals one of the highlights of living in this arrondissement. The table doubles as a desk with the hookups to allow you computer access to the internet. Four large closets beyond the table provide ample storage for your stay.
TV and DVD player are dual standard, which allow you to bring American movies or rent French ones nearby. CNN and other English channels are available in all of our apartments, as is the stereo system (bring your favorite CD's as well). We also have wireless ADSL for your computer at no charge and a security safe for valuables.
There is a stunning view from the two large windows of the Champ de Mars Park and elegant buildings of the Seventh arrondissement. It’s fun to watch Parisian life unfold below: parents taking children to school, people buying their morning and evening baguettes, coming back from the market with their shopping baskets full, or joining friends for an espresso in the café on the corner. A great view is an important part of your enjoyment of Paris and we would consider it carefully when choosing an apartment in Paris.
The location is one of the best in Paris: One minute walk to the river; three minutes to the famous Bateau Mouches Tours; one block to the Eiffel Tower, five minutes walk to the Invalides, 10 minutes to the Trocadéro, the Grand Palais and the couturier's on Ave. Montaigne. 15 minutes walk to the Champs Elysées, 20 minutes walk to Place de la Concorde and the Bon Marché department store.
