Sisters trip
My sister and I visited the area for the first time and LOVED staying at the barn loft. Kirsten was so friendly and helpful, and the loft was a real treat. The friendly dogs and the beautiful farm added to the relaxing retreat. We will return!

Beautiful property
The gorgeous property is accompanied by two very friendly dogs, and three horses. While I was there, there was only one horse because two of the other horses were at the vet. But the horse was very sweet and comes right up to you. The golden retriever Daisy is the sweetest dog, and I ran laps around the property with her. She is very friendly, but does love to give love bites. Avery is the border collie that is on the property as well. She is an older dog that is a little skittish, but super sweet when she lets you pet her, the loft itself was just what we wanted, the only issues I had was not being able to access the Wi-Fi so keep that in mind. But she does have a DVD player that we ended up playing movies on. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again.

About the host

Chose this area to raise my daughter because of the beauty of the land, kindness of residents and peaceful surroundings. Originally from the northeast settled in Tennessee back in the early 1980's because of the kindness of the people and the beauty of the land. Life long horse owner/lover who likes to share her sanctuary with others.

Providing a unique service to the middle Tennessee area of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy is my honor.

Why they chose this property

Quiet, serene, peaceful all while being in the great outdoors and close to a major city. Could not imagine living any other place because of the surroundings, the people and the weather. Hiking on the Natchez Trace is right around the corner from the farm.

What makes this property unique

Having dogs and horses at your finger tips if wanted or just to view. If not you just enjoy your stay and ignore them. Though Avery (border collie) and Daisy (Golden Retriever) may ask you to play over and over again. Having coffee on the deck in the morning is a favorite pastime. Many enjoy the energy here as it is so serene.
