About this property

Bienvenido from Cozumel and Villa Coronado! We overlook some of the bluest Caribbean water you’ll ever see! Perfect for divers, snorkelers, readers, vacationers, and families, Villa Coronado is also the perfect spot for a wedding or a yoga retreat. The glass-tiled pool includes a fountain, and comfortable lounge chairs surround the pool area. Sunsets are amazing! All rooms are air-conditioned, even the communal spaces.

You will enjoy the luxury of a guest host on the island who will give you a tour of the house and answer all your questions. Maid service is included on Mondays and Thursdays!

The ocean views from three of the four master suites, balconies, and the rooftop terrace are magnificent features of our villa. Our home was designed and furnished for comfort. The décor is simple and light, the floor plan is open and airy with 10-foot ceilings. There are several outdoor verandas, porches, decks, and balconies. I know you'll agree that Villa Coronado is something special.

Our Guest Host, Mario C, is a great divemaster and can take your group snorkeling, diving, or touring as well.

The second living area upstairs has a futon, and an air mattress is available as is a pack-and-play for little ones. We have a high chair and baby gates. Cooking services and grocery shopping are available at an additional fee. Two maid services are included, on Mondays and Thursdays. There are several beach clubs and restaurants within walking distance, including the famous National Parque, Chankanaab.

Favorite México vacation!

Loved everything about this trip. The location was the best spot on island with great snorkeling across the street and great shops and restaurants nearby. Mario and Sarah the managers were the best. They responded immediately about any questions we had. Mario was the best snorkel guide and set us up with fishing and even gave a quick scuba lesson. We will definitely be back.

Great time in a great spot.

Gorgeous house. Very good snorkel right out the front door. Walking distance to some beach clubs but take the time to go to town and experience the city and friendly Mexican people. Just dont book for the same days as us :-)

The location and amenities this house provides made our vacation a dream come true! Steps from the beach, and the host Mario was amazing to work with! We also used Sandra’s Kitchen which was out of this world! 10/10 for all!

We built Villa Coronado in 2000. We have spent many happy vacations in our home with friends and family. As avid divers, we love our location overlooking the Mexican Caribbean.

Why they chose this property

Cozumel is a friendly, casual island. I've heard it described as 'easy, breezy, with few pretentions.' I cannot think of a better way to describe it. We have been coming here since the late 1980s and will continue to travel here for many years to come.

What makes this property unique

Whether you enjoy diving, swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, shopping, fine dining, fishing, or golfing, Cozumel has it. We are in walking distance of Parque Chankanaab where one can hang on the beach, snorkel, dine, and see beautiful gardens and a lagoon. Cabana Beach is connected to Chankanaab and is also walking distance. World Heritage site Chichen Itza is on the mainland, and it only takes a couple of hours to get there. A 40-minute ferry ride will take you to Playa del Carmen, with Tulum, Xelha, and Xcaret available nearby. Cancun is 45 minutes north of Playa del Carmen. During June, July and August you can visit Holbox Island, 2 hours north of Cancun, to swim with Whale Sharks! Or even closer, they are also just 15 miles out from Isla Mujeres. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to swim with these magnificent, and gentle, giants. You can work with biologists here in Cozumel during turtle nesting season, April through September, at Punta Sur Parque. Cozumel has the only Pearl Farm in the Caribbean, and it is a fun day to explore it, have lunch, and enjoy a pristine beach in the north! There is always something to do!
