Our beachfront Plantation style home was designed to reflect the traditional Hawaiian architecture and blend in with the surrounding beach community and environment. The 4 bedrooms and living areas yield breathtaking views of the white sand beach, the ever changing azure blue Pacific Ocean, Ulupa'u Crater, and the Mokulua Islands. This home is on beautiful Kailua Beach which has been named among the best beaches in the US. Our particular beachfront area is quiet and serene, the large yard and spacious house will allow you to relax and enjoy the tranquility of Hawaii and our quiet beach community.
The house has 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 in the lower level for a total of 4. The upper master suite has a king bed, full bathroom, and private access to the lanai. Our Garden Bedroom has a queen bed and tranquil mountain views, and two Koa wood twin beds furnish the Koa Bedroom which has great views of the beach and yard. These bedrooms share a full bathroom. A large living room looking onto the ocean through 3 sliding glass doors and large windows, a freshly remodeled custom kitchen, spacious dining area, and lanai, which wraps around three sides of the house providing views of the beach, the yard, and the mountains, encompass the rest of the second level. Downstairs consists of a semi private suite with king bed and private half bathroom. The lower living area features a galley style service kitchen which opens up to a dining area, sitting room, and full bath. The lower common areas lead one directly into the large and beautifully landscaped lawn and beach. The house is well divided to provide maximum privacy for each bedroom and all the rooms have ocean views and sounds.
The entire home was designed to be a true representation of Hawaii. The Plantation style architecture celebrates Hawaii’s heritage of sugar and pineapple plantations; workers and land owners on the plantations would live in homes stylistically similar to ours. The interior décor of our home reflects this tradition as well while providing modern convenience and comfort Our furnishings are made of woods and materials traditionally found on the islands, Koa and Bamboo, and we strive to keep the feel of Hawaii throughout the house with tastefully chosen accessories.
The house has an open, airy, and organic design that draws you to the outdoors. With a yard large enough for any outdoor game and the beach and ocean directly in front of the house you will undoubtedly find yourself spending more time outdoors than in. A solar water heater and eco-friendly bamboo floor make the home environmentally friendly.
Everything for your beach vacation is provided with the house, towels, chairs, LOTS of beach toys, and an outdoor shower with hot and cold running water. The sounds and views of the beach, ocean, and surf are always within range.
Advance grocery shopping, maid service, babysitting, and dining and activity bookings can be made through the offsite caretaker. |
