The waterfront home provides amentities for a relaxing experience overlooking the Indian River Bay, just a few steps to a secluded bay front beach and a minutes drive to the ocean at Bethany Beach. Whether you are looking for get away for quiet and relaxation, family trip, or fishing adventure, this is the vacation home for you. The Cottage is located at the Vines Creek Marina www.vinescreekmarina.com which can provide for all your fishing needs. As an inclusive gift for our visitors, we invite you to bring your boat/jet ski/canoe or kayak and launch at the on-site marina ramp during your stay. Feeling adventurous? The Marina staff can set you up with a charter fishing trip or stand-up paddle board rental. Tip: Sunset paddle boarding is not something to be missed!
The Cottage features one bedroom that sleeps 2 (queen bed) and a loft area that sleeps 2 (full size bed). There is one bathroom with recently updated features. Enjoy your morning coffee taking in the view from the front porch or dish out crabs and a cold one at the picnic tables on the deck. Lots of activities local to keep you busy all week. We are less than a 20 minute drive to fantastic breweries like Dog Fish Head and Burley Oak. Plan a day trip to the Salted Vines or Costa Ventosa winery or walk Berlin...America's Coolest Small Town. Take up a day golfing at one of the gorgeouse waterfront courses or pick a family friendly adventure. If you're looking for exclusivity just walk out the door down to the bayfront beach. It's perfect for little ones to splash and play or for a day spent reading in the sun!

Cute cottage at the marina

The cottage is great for 2 adults. The area is quieter than most areas around the beach. The people at the Vines Creek Marina are very nice and helpful. We would highly recommend staying here.

Affordable Property Close to Beach Towns!

Valerie was very nice!!! Everything overall was great!!! We had an awesome vacation visiting surrounding beach towns. A few suggestions/comments I have are: More racks for drying items, luckily I brought our drying rack so we were fine. The pictures on the listing showed there was a swing/hammock and there was not. The listing also showed rocking type chairs on the front porch and they were metal chairs. The landscaping was not as pretty as the pictures. The picnic table was not in the best condition. There definitely needs to be a hose outside. The refrigerator and freezer definitely need baking soda boxes because there was a smell. The dining/kitchen area had a lot of fruit flys. I made some DIY fruit fly traps that worked very well for the week. The bathroom was on a big lean. You felt your equilibrium off when in there. The private beach sounds nicer than it looks. The listing says waterfront property but in my opinion that’s debatable. It is on a Marina but there are a lot of boats and ramps blocking the view. The Marina is well kept and the shop was nice too.
