Excellent apartment in a great location

This was our first stay in Los Alcázares and it will not be our last. My husband and I stayed for 18 nights and our daughter joined us for 8 nights. The apartment was superb, clean and comfortable and in the best location by the pool. We loved how close it was to all amenities and the area was flat, ideal for anyone with mobility problems. The owner was easy to deal with and was very helpful with regards to us altering dates and allowed us an early check in and late check out. Altogether a first class apartment and a lovely resort.

Lovely apartment in excellent location

We had a wonderful holiday in this lovely apartment which is really well equipped with everything you need. The communal pool which was never busy is right outside the apartment and there is plenty of space to sunbathe. The square with restaurants and cocktail bars, the supermarkets and beach are all within easy walking distance and the property owners have left really handy pamphlets to provide all the info you need. Communication with Caroline was excellent as well as that with the property managers. Would highly recommend

Well appointed apartment

This was an ideal apartment for two couples because of the two bathrooms. It was lovely to have a good view of the pool. It was well equipped and included a washer, oven, dishwasher and a TV with British programmes.

Our holiday was as relaxed and entertaining as can be with a 3 year old and 4 month old. The villa was perfect for us four and catered to all our needs. The pool and living area were a treat and I could not highly recommend this location more. Any issues that did arise were resolved that day and with a friendly deminor and smile. 5*

Lovely apartment very clean close to beach ideal location for either English or Spanish cuisine due to pandemic I presume not many buses to explore so recommend a car if you wish to visit surrounding areas.lucky had lovely pool too ourselves

The Apartment is in a perfect location, shops, bars and restaurants within a short walk. Very well equipped, we did not cook during our stay but there was everything you would need if you should want to. The owners have thought of all the little extra's, washing powder, dishwasher tablets, hand soaps in bathrooms & kitchen. The supply of beach towels is a great touch as it helps to pack lighter! Pool area great. All in all we had a great time and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in this area. We will certainly be returning ourselves. The bottle of fizz and water in the fridge was a nice touch.

Ideal location, perfect apartment.

We stayed from 23 August to 3rd Sept 2018. Two adults & two teenagers. Beautiful appartment on a quiet street but only a short walk to the busy bars and restaurants of Plaza 525. Enjoyed strolls on the lovely promenade walked the full length more than once, plenty to keep young teenagers 15 & 16 entertained, and safe enough to let them out on their own for a frozen yogurt and evening walk . Easy short drive to Cartagena ( well worth a day out) or round to La Manga ... the mini Manhattan on the horizon. More things to do without a car than when staying on the golf courses, yet still peacefull around the apartment complex. The apartment itself has absolutely everything you could need and air conditioning in all rooms. (It was hot in August). The property manager Fiona was great, and the owners were easy to contact and very friendly. If you are looking for a holiday on the Mar Menor you really cant go wrong with this apartment.

I was so looking forward to a break away and had fond memories of Casa D'Azul. The reality totally lived up to those memories and more. Since we stayed as a family (about 3 years ago) Caroline and Peter have added additional homely touches including an awning for the terrace which makes the outside space even more ideal for the mandatory (in my world anyway!) afternoon siesta. The provision of towels; hair dryer; iron and even chairs to take the beach all just make life very easy. The proximity to the beach, the brilliant supermarket and a huge selection of restaurants gives lots of options on how to spend your time. Equally the pool being just a short hop from the apartment makes it just as easy to just stay near to your 'home' for the week (or more if you're lucky!). Completely recommend this apartment.

LOVELY APARTMENT!

This ground floor apartment was really well equipped and had lovely comfortable beds, and was only a short walk to the bars and restaurants and a really good supermarket. Also it overlooked the pool which we did not use as it was a bit chilly at this time of year! But will definitely stay at this apartment again, hopefully in the Summer and make use of the pool! Highly recommend this apartment.

Beautiful apartment that is ideally located, could not ask for more.....

The apartment is equipped with everything you would need to make your stay here just perfect, from a barbecue on the rear terrace to a shopping cart to bring back all your food and drink!! Ideally located to the main street for Bars, Restaurants and Tapas bars and a 10 minute walk to the beach makes this an ideal base to explore the area. Already booked a break for next year we were that impressed with it........ I can thouroughly recommend this apartment.

Why they chose this property


In August 2014, we spent two weeks in Los Alcázares and instantly fell in love with its charm. The town's blend of convenience and tranquility made it the perfect spot for our family. We loved how close everything was, and the fact that no car was needed made it even better.

One day, we walked past this apartment and saw a For Sale sign. That moment changed everything. We never looked at another place because this one was perfect. Our kids adore swimming, and the direct access to the pool was a dream come true. After seeing other apartments, we realized just how fortunate we were to find this gem. The pool is always quiet, offering a serene escape year-round.

The Spanish ambiance on hot summer nights is magical. You’ll see groups of men playing ball games, children enjoying the streets, and families dining outdoors. Mornings are equally delightful, with older locals relaxing in the Mar Menor and the promenade bustling with walkers, runners, and cyclists before the day heats up.

In the quieter months many restaurants stay open and the sun and warmth remain year round. For us this is a chance to explore further afiend - the coastline and towns and cities to the south of us are beautiful, with some fabulous walks.

Los Alcázares offers the best of both worlds. If you seek peace, it’s there. If you desire a livelier atmosphere, you’ll find that too (although this is never a hen/stag party town), all within a short distance from our wonderful apartment.

Situated in one of the best complexes in Los Alcázares, our apartment enjoys one of the best positions within that complex. We offer two spacious terraces, front and back, so you can enjoy sun or shade at any time of day.

Designed to feel like a home away from home, our apartment includes thoughtful touches such as beach towels, buckets and spades, and washing powder, making packing easier for our guests. We are one of the few apartments in the area equipped with both a washing machine and a dishwasher, a double shower, a Bluetooth speaker, and access to Netflix, ensuring a comfortable and modern stay.

The convenience of our location is unbeatable. The beach is just a 7-minute walk away, and there are over 50 restaurants within walking distance, yet our quiet road has no passing traffic. The direct access to the pool, just 10 steps away, is a highlight, while our large terrace and surrounding hedge provide privacy for outdoor dining. Many apartments in our small complex are privately owned and not rented out, so the pool is usually peaceful.
