Luminosa, con una splendida vista sulle colline Umbre, si trova al terzo ed ultimo piano di un tipico edificio in tufo del XVI secolo, senza ascensore, nel quartiere di san Francesco, il punto più alto di Orvieto. In una posizione tranquilla, a pochi passi dalla Cattedrale e dai luoghi di maggiore interesse storico-artistico, è il punto di partenza ideale per visitare questa splendida cittadina etrusca.

A home away from home

We loved staying at the White House. The apartment was clean and cozy, it really felt like a home away from home. Luigi was so helpful and kind. We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely wonderful. We loved Orvieto and staying here was the cherry on top.

40th Anniversary in Orvieto

I couldn't say enough about the property or the host. The property is central to everything we love; food, shopping & wine. Luigi was very helpful, friendly & kind. It couldn't have been a better experience.

Bellissimo!

Amazing space and gracious hosts - we were picked up after arriving by train by Luigi and Emanuela, who gave us a quick tour of town and oriented us to the apartment. The place is so lovely - beautifully decorated and immaculate. Truly one of our best rental experiences ever. Nothing to critique or complain about here. Orvieto is a charming town and this apartment is the best place to stay. Book it!

We fell in love with Orvietto and at the heart of it, was this beautiful accommodation. It as so great to meet our host who was generous with his time and knowledge of the area. Great Orvieto Apartment

Great location, wonderful hosts. This apartment was perfect for our stay. Very clean with lovely decorations and everything we needed. The host even had water and soda for us in the refrigerator. We would book again!

Elegance, style and location in Orvieto

Beautiful and cleverly designed and decorated. Right in the heart of the town. Being in Orvieto is Like being in a Zeffirelli movie. Stay here if you possibly can.

Excellent place to stay

The apartment is really nice, spacious, with a nice bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, and nicely decorated. It's quiet and still close to nice restaurants (recommend Il Malandrino) and the center of town. Luigi and Tania picked us up from the car park and drove us to the apartment and were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Comfortable apartment in great location

This apartment is well-furnished on a completely quiet street just a few blocks away from the main shopping area and the stunning Duomo and museums. The gracious hosts offered recommendations for good food and oriented us to town with a good map. The stairs added to our fitness.

Another Perfect Stay

My second trip to Orvieto in three months and second stay at this property, Luigi is a gracious host and goes out of his way to make you feel welcome, not only to his property, but to Orvieto! Probably one of our most favourite properties. Stunning, spacious, well decorated apartment with the most gracious host in the heart of beautiful Orvieto. Just a short walk to to Duomo and the main pedestrian street in town. Our host was charming and the extra touches in this beautiful apartment more than made up for the 38 steps to reach the top. We can’t say enough about this amazing property. Absolutely lovely

Orvieto was awesome and so was Luigi's apartment

We traveled to six different locations during our tour of Italy and Orvieto was a favorite. The town is so beautiful, historic, and fun. Luigi was a very welcoming and friendly host and his apartment was perfectly located and appointed. We highly recommend it! We rented bikes from CicloStile, a local bike shop and had one of our best experiences of the trip biking to and enjoying Civita, another amazing old "hill town" about 14 miles away from Orvieto.

What a Gem!!

We loved this stay in Orvieto. Luigi was amazing.. he met us at the parking garage to pass us in and then loaded our suitcases in his car and drove us to the place. Wonderful people! He even gave me a lovely gift for my birthday. The place is perfect.. everything thing you need and just as pictured.

Better than advertised!!

This reservation was the best I've had in my 2 1/2 month stay in Italy. The apartment is better than advertised, very clean, all the amenities, and the hosts were excellent. They picked my up from the train station, drove me to the apartment, showed me everything, and were available to me immediately if I had further questions. The bed was very comfortable, linens very nice. Large lovely shower, and a very comfortable living and dining room. I can't say enough about how nice the apartment was and how Luigi and Tania served as excellent hosts. Highly recomment.

Wonderful time in Orvieto

Our hosts were great, picked us up with our luggage from the parking lot and had all the brochures for our stay laid out in the apartment. They gave us a map and oriented us to this beautiful city. The apartment is very comfortable for the 2 of us, the shower was great and the location terrific to access most areas of the city. Everything is in walking distance but you have to like to walk since many of the streets are too narrow for vehicles. We left our car at the parking lot and took it out once during our stay and then at the end drove to within a block of the apartment to load our luggage. Can't say enough about Luigi and Emanuela who made it very easy for these 2 experienced travelers.

Fabulous Apartment in Orvieto

If you are looking for a beautiful apartment for two people, check out the White House in Orvieto, Italy. Luigi is the perfect host who will provide pick up for you at a nearby parking garage as he did for us. The apartment is within a few minutes walk from the main streets in Orvieto and close to the cathedral, the underground, restaurants, and shops. It is clean and and well stocked with beautiful dishes and cutlery. The king bed is comfortable and the linens pristine. A library with many books is available. Luigi and Emmanuela took good care of us and provided an excellent map and brochures for the attractions. Thank you, Luigi, for providing my husband and me with a beautiful, clean, and safe lodging in Ovieto. We loved it and hope to stay with you again! Note: The apartment is located on the third floor and has 39 steps up. That did not matter to us, but if you are physically challenged, it would be difficult.

Perfect Stay

I have stayed in several different locations in Orvieto over the years and this is one of the BEST! A 3-5 minute walk from the Piazza della Repubblica. Easy access to the public parking and the countless restaurants like one of my favorites Trattoria la Palomba!! The apartment was VERY clean and everything you would need is there for you, from cooking and doing laundry. And if you don’t speak Italian don’t worry Luigi’s has Tania who will translate for you and both Luigi and Tania are very nice and helpful, I found them to be always available to help! My wife and I were married in Orvieto I have a strong connection to Orvieto and I am always happy when I find a great place to stay in my home away from home!!

Fairy Tale Village and so much more

This property is amazing, the pictures do not do it justice! The apt is decorated with such Italian style and so many fun details! The host is amazing with information on the town and favorite restaurants. The property is kept up impeccably. We stayed 6 days and Luigi made arrangements to come in midway to cleans and change out towels. The town of Orvieto is an amazing place to visit, so quant, so many restaurants, we felt so at home at this property and in the city. Highly recommend this property on a trip to Orvieto.

An absolute pleasure from beginning to end

We enjoyed everything about our stay at the White House. Luigi is a kind, thoughtful and attentive host. The apartment is immaculately clean and very comfortable. It’s located on a quiet street that is only a few minutes pleasant walk from great restaurants, shopping and all the “must see” sites in Orvieto. On the one night we decided to stay in and make dinner, we found the kitchen to be very well equipped and conveniently organized. The comfort and convenience of the White House contributes to an amazing and memorable stay in wonderful Orvieto. Grazie Luigi!

Amazing Apartment

Absolutely stunning, clean, bright and well equipped. Located on the 3rd floor, no elevator. We arrived by automobile and Luigi and his assistant met us at the parking garage, led us to our reserved spot, loaded our luggage into his vehicle and drove us directly to the White House. They carried our luggage for us, explained everything we needed to know about the apartment and Orvieto, and even suggested restaurants, sites, and a grocery store. You do not need a car in Orvieto, everything is walkable. Thank you Luigi for your hospitality and for providing such a beautiful, comfortable apartment on a quiet street, close to the center of town. If we ever get back to Orvieto, we will definitely stay at The White House again,
