The 'Stella Maris Agropoli' is a vacation home consisting of apartment newly renovated and fully equipped, named the 'Stella' and the 'Mare'. Is located in the heart of the historical centre of Agropoli, in the Umberto square.

This apartment,Stella,is 54 square meters, and consists of two bedrooms, which both sleep two people, there is one bathroom with a hydro massage shower, and a large well lit room with combination kitchen, living, and dining area. This apartment features a large terrace that can be used for dining and sun bathing.

The city of Agropoli is know as 'The Pearl of Cilento', and is situated on the sea: the ideal location to visit nearby attractions including the famous archeological escavation of the Greek Temples in Paestum, the island of Capri and the Amalfi coast.

The apartments sit on the highest point of old Agropoli, in a romantic and private sitting.

Agropoli

We really enjoyed our holiday in Agropoli. The apartment couldn't be better located. The views are lovely and the best restaurants are close by. It is a steep walk to the apartment and then stairs but worth it when you get there. We walked to train station to visit other places nearby and hired a car for a few days. It was a really lovely holiday.

Fantastico

È il secondo anno consecutivo che vado ad Agropoli ospite di Alfonso il proprietario di questo incantevole appartamento e sinceramente spero di poter tornarci anche il prossimo anno Questo è situato nel centro storico di Agropoli e si affaccia sul porto con un panaroma mozzafiato. L appartamento e molto grazioso e ha tutti i confort. Alfredo è una persona squisita e sempre a disposizione per qualsiasi informazione o necessità. Che dire..... Il posto è magnifico l' appartamento con il terrazzino ancora di più e come già detto prima spero di ritornarci

Place to relax

Our stay was fabulous, with Alfonso no need to worry he takes care of any problem that comes up. Very quiet apartment and comfordable bed and sofa, bathroom could use a little update but overall very nice. The view from the apartment is breathtaking and the town is easy to walk and to get to the train station. Thank you again Alfonso for your great hospitality ,hope to see you again sometimes

Bella vacanza!

Siamo molto contenti del nostro riposo!Ci e piaciuto tutto-sopratutto la terazza con vista straodinaria e il proprietario bravissimo!Mi mancavo un condizionatore nella camera da letto -preferisco un freddo.Agropoli e la citta molto adatto al riposo interesante.Forse ritorneremmo a Alfonso fra hanni con piacere.

A special and romantic holiday

A beautiful apartment located in the old center of Agropoli. In this flat you can enjoy an exceptional view of the port of Agropoli. Apartment very welcoming and complete of almost all services. The owner, Alfonso, absolutely friendly and always available to offer informations and advaices. Excellent value for money! Certainly a holiday to be done!!

Wonderful sunset views

A lovely apartment in the 'centre storico' of Agropoli. Wonderful views over the port and north to the Amalfi coast and Capri. Excellent space with very pleasant terrace. Well equipped. Owner is very helpful and easy to contact. Description on web fits the apartment, which was clean and well-maintained. The owner works nearby and would always stop to talk to us and ask how we were getting on. We would recommend this apartment. The only slight reservation is that there were not many restaurants open nearby - although the owner made some excellent recommendations.

Очень просторные и уютные апартаменты. Виды из окон шикарные. С террасы действительно открываются прекрасные виды на гавань, порт, море и да, действительно вид на Капри и Амальфи вдали. А еще на старые, узенькие, запутанные, находящиеся в разных уровнях улочки исторического центра Агрополи. В апартаментах было все, что нам могло понадобиться в путешествии. Неподалеку есть бесплатная стоянка для автомобиля. Спасибо большое хозяину, Альфонсо, который был очень отзывчив, готов ответить на любые вопросы и решить любые проблемы. Мы, конечно же, будем рекомендовать эти апартаменты своим друзьям.

nice clean and relaxing apartment

clean and cute apartment in the hystoric center of Agropoli with a stunning view over Capri and the Amalfi coast ....great relax on the terrace lying down on the deckchair to watch the sunset .... the owner is very helpful and informative about the trips around Agropoli; if there was a chance I would gladly return!

Fantastic apartment, great views and location

We stayed in both the Stella and Maris apartments, both of which have beautiful views over the harbour. Each apartment was clean and well kept. Alfonso is a very nice person to deal with, a great host and gentleman. The location is great for access to the historic centre of Agropoli and also the coast and harbour. The locals are lovely people and the nightlife is vibrant and welcoming. Eat pizza, drink wine or coffee or eat ice-cream at 11.00pm!! Its a great base to explore the Amalfi coast and Napoli with plenty of sight seeing - all in all we had a fantastic stay.

Fantastic Stay at Stella Maris

We had a fantastic stay in Agropoli at Alfonso's Stella Maris apartment. The apartment is located in the heart of the old town and it was well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It's location made it very convenient for visiting restaurants , bars, and shops which were only minutes away and the beautiful Cilento country side was within easy reach. The best thing of all was the incredible views over the harbour and beyond to the Amalfi coast and the island of Capri and the sunsets were absolutely stunning. Alfonso was extremely helpful from our initial contact with him, meeting us on arrival until our final departure and If we were to go back again to Agropoli then we would definitely stay at Stella Maris. Thanks Alfonso. Graeme and Annemarie.

Best apartment in Agropoli!

For us it is the best apartment in Agropoli! Beautiful view of the sea, port, the city, from all windows. An opportunity to live in historic center of the city, but in silence and comfort. Observation place and church near the house where it is possible to see nearly an every day beautiful weddings. A lot of restaurants within walking distance. Big supermarket, bakeries, fish shops, in 5 minutes on foot from the house. To the beach of 15 minutes on foot. To railway station of 5 minutes on a taxi or 25 minutes on foot. Apartments are well equipped, there is everything for comfortable accommodation. Apartments pure and beautiful. Very big terrace on which it is possible and to have dinner and sunbathe. It is possible to lay on a bed and admire on a sea view! Alfonso very good owner, always nearby if it is necessary, is always ready to help. We had an excellent rest if still we arrive to Cilento, only to Alfonso! We will recommend to all friends apartments of "Stella Maris Agropoli" Thank you, Alfonso! Alex, Julia, Sofia.

A Very Enjoyable Stay

We stayed in this apartment for two weeks from mid October and had an amazing holiday. The tourist season had come to an end at this time and for us , this was an added bonus as we felt, without other tourists, we were living like locals in this beautiful town of Agropoli. The apartment is ideally situated with a view over the harbour and overlooking the gorgeous turquoise water and also the lovely terracotta roofs of the houses underneath. We felt it was a real Italian neighbourhood. We loved to visit the centre of town which was only a 2 minute walk away, first thing in the morning and sit outside one of the many cafes and have a coffee whilst enjoying the hustle and bustle of the morning buzz of people going to work and children going to school. We loved going to the various little shops - to one of the little bakeries for a lovely loaf of delicious Italian bread, to one of the many delicatessens for some Serrano ham and buffalo mozzarella, to the covered market to choose some fruit and vegetables from the huge array they had to offer and especially to one of the many fish shops which were so well-stocked with the most delicious seafood. We then loved to laze over breakfast on the lovely terrace in apartment Stella Maris and plan our day ahead. We used the local bus service to visit little towns further along the coast like the beautiful Santa Maria de Castellabate. We didn't visit the Amalfi region as we felt that was for another time. Most evenings, we had dinner in one of the many lovely restaurants in Agropoli - most were still open but were quiet which didn't bother us. It was important to us that the owner of the apartment, Alfonso, was never too far away if we needed his help or advice. He met us at the train station on our arrival and brought us to the apartment and after that, he was always available but never intrusive. So, all in all, our stay in apartment Stella Maris was really great and we hope to return some day.

Perfect place to have a nice stay in a nice town.

This apartment is on the top of the town. Clean and spacious apartment. Very nice terras with a stunning view over the harbour of Agropoli. At he end of the day beautiful sunsets. The area around the apartment is also very nice with the castle, restaurants, church and other small shops. The local people and tourists are visiting this area in the evening and therefor a very pleasant atmosphere. The time we were there in September there was always enough tables free at the restaurants so not too crowded. The owner Alfonso was very helpfull and a very nice person. So all with all we enjoyed it very much and can recommend it to everybody.

A memorable stay in a perfect place

What a location! The views from the windows and terrace were absolutely stunning. Leisurely breakfasts on the terrace were one of the highlights of the holiday for sure. The apartment's location from a convenience point of view was great too. Just a step out the front door for groceries, restaurants and great coffee. The old town of Agropoli is a perfect base. The labyrinth of alleyways and steps is like going back to a bygone age. It is easy to fall into a relaxed rhythm of life and forget the hustle and bustle of the modern world. Agropoli is certainly one of our top holiday destinations, and one that we come back to again and again. Ann and Justin Wallace

An excellent stay in a beautiful location

Alfonso's has a stunning view over the port. That's the thing that truly makes this property. It's so relaxing to sit there and watch the little boats go in and out. Everything else about the apartment is very nice. It's small and functional. All within easy reach. It's situated in the old town which makes it even better. I thoroughly recommend it.

Great!

Alfonso was always very kind, helpful and at hand. Few bottles of local wine, plenty of water and fruits were waiting for us when we came. The apartment was beautiful, clean a well furnished. Two bathrooms are great in the morning rush. :) We could not have enough of the view on the port, sea and Amalfi coast from the balconies and windows. We still miss it :) Right under the windows are restaurants, the apartment is in the center of beautiful old town. We´d love to come back.

Wonderful place to stay

We stayed at Stella apartment for 10 days in September and found it perfect in many ways. Actually, cosy rooms inside, equipped kitchen, terrace with wonderful sea sunset views made our life comfortable. The house itself is situated very successfully, right near the ancient gates and church in historical center. So all the other tourists had to come upstairs to see these places, and we already lived right there, but slightly aside. Small restaurants near the house and supermarket in pedestrian area fully resolved our culinary needs. Yet the beach in foot availability gave enough sun and swimming. We would be happy to stay in this apartment for several months… However, we had only several days, and some of these days we used to explore neighbor cities and found many interesting and pleasant things there. We would like especially to mention and thank the owner, Alfonso, who has met us with a car, explained all the details of apartment and advised some impressive places outside. He’s very warm-hearted person, who always had time to ask us if we are OK and to offer his help. So far, we really recommend Stella apartment for living in Agroppoli. Adult family pair from Russia

Great place to stay

We had three very great weeks of staying there. The apartment had everything we need with an unbeatable view on the coast and the town. Just on top of the town Agropoli we could discover with nice places to eat and drink, and walk of course. No noise from cars. We like to say many thanks to Alfonso for his kind help and many hints, especially for the wine. We also appreciate pretty much his immidiate support, when we need something. It was a pleasure and we considering to come back. Right time and right place for a relaxing and comfortable vacation. Olaf and Angelika.

Excellent well appointed apartment.

Agropoli,an interesting and historic town, is situated in an ideal location south of Salerno on an attractive coastline, within easy driving distance of the Cilento hinterland and with a good train service to Salerno with access to the ferries for the Amalfi coast.For our visit to the Amalfi Coast we took the 30-40 minute train trip to Salerno leaving the car at the free car park at Agropoli station.The well appointed apartment is positioned in the old town overlooking the marina,an excellent position from which to enjoy the spectacular Mediterranean sunsets. A car, although not essential, is preferable and the owner provides free parking within a short walk to the apartment, an easy uphill climb culminating in a flight of steps to the door of the property( not suitable for the disabled). Alfonso, the owner, is very helpful. He will meet you on your arrival and provide you with any information you may require.The apartment is clean and well appointed.We will be returning to continue to explore the historic and scenic Cilento and Vallo di Diano region although the area is just as suitable for those who may wish to spend their time in the sun on one of the many attractive beaches along the coast to the south of Agropoli.
