Great two level 3 bedroom/ 2 bath townhouse in " The Gables " at the base of backcomb Mountain in Whistler BC. You can't beat this location! The Gables is designated as " ski-in / ski out"
Can we say more !Take a 2-5 minute walk to the Whistler Village and enjoy the shopping and fantastic restaurants the Village has to offer. Once you park your car in our gated underground parkade, you won't need your car again until you are ready to go home!

Family vacation

We've stayed at several places in Whistler/Blackcomb and this was our favorite. It's ideally located between Whistler and Blackcomb making it easy to ski both locations and to go into the villages to shop and eat. The place was nicer than expected. The renovations are really nice, and the lighting makes the whole place look cozy. The heated enclosed foyer with its many hooks and cubbies made it really easy to store all of our ski stuff right in the condo. Dirk was very responsive and flexible. The downside is no hot tub but given the fair cost, location, & 3 bedrooms it's a winner.

Amazing property!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this perfectly located beautiful townhome. This place had everything we needed including a jet tub upstairs for sore muscles after skiing all day. The host was very responsive, the townhome is very clean and cozy. It had everything we needed and more.

First Whistler Visit..

Great location, 4-5 minute walk to either Blackcomb or Whistler chair and easy walk right into Whistler Village. really handy to go for Apres Ski and dinner. Comfy beds and cozy place for our family. Really enjoyed our week.

Loved our stay

We've been staying at Dirk's place for the last two years and will continue this tradition as long as it's available. Family memories have been made here, and it's starting to feel like home. This cozy condo is close to the Blackcomb ski school, so it's very convenient for families with young children.

Wonderful stay in Whistler

This was such a great condo for a Whistler ski trip. We are a family with two kids, and then the grandparents came up for half to hang out with us. The place worked out perfectly. It's very cozy, outfitted with all the necessities and feels like a home and not just a vacation rental. Everything was straight forward from check-in to check-out. I can't wait to rent this one again,

A Perfect Home Away From Home!

From the moment we arrived at this charming property, we knew we had made the right choice. The directions provided by our gracious host were spot on, leading us to this hidden gem nestled in a picturesque neighborhood. The house itself was a delight, with every room spotless and welcoming. The beds were cozy, ensuring a restful night after our daily adventures. The kitchen was well-equipped, making meal preparation a breeze. Situated in an ideal location, we were just a stone's throw away from the lifts, local attractions and fantastic dining options. This was particularly convenient as we could maximize our time exploring the area. Our host was the epitome of hospitality, always available to answer any questions. Their attention to detail and thoughtful touches, made our stay extra special. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. Great Location-Kitchen-Ski Location

We really enjoyed the townhome. Nice seating for dining and games. Living room is great for relaxing and watching a movies after skiing all day. Very clean and well kept. Really appreciated the well stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook. Favorite place to stay so far for skiing at Whistler.

Not Ski in ski out

The condo is in a good location, but not ski in ski out. It is just under a 5 minute walk to either the Blackcomb or Whistler base, but you have to cross a busy street. The 3rd bedroom, which is really a large closet, is accessed through the loft, so the guests in the loft see you whenever you want to access the bathroom or the stairs. There are no windows to the outside for the loft or 3rd bedroom. The kitchen is small and well equipped. Only 1 kitchen garbage bag was provided for the week. The owner did not respond when I asked for more. The condo is clean with good walking access to the Whistler Village. There is room for 6 at the dining table. The living area can seat 5 with good access to the TV. The bathrooms were clean. No shower soap was provided in either bathroom. A number of all in one shampoo/conditioner bottles were provided.

Great Location to everything

Pics were spot on & condo had everything you could need. WiFi & Cable we’re excellent- kitchen was fully equipped & place was super clean. Would give it a 6 on a scale 1-5 👍 Next time we come back to ski…. It will be here - thanks Dirk!

Great ski condo

Cozy and clean ski lodge w/ everything you need for family vacation including washer/dryer, laundry detergent, kitchen stocked w/spices, olive oil & both Keurig & full-size coffee pots. Perfect location for accessing the ski lifts and a short walk thru the trees to the village. A nice size for our family of 4 w/ two teens.

Great condo btw the 2 villages

Stayed here for 6 nights to ski. Great location right in between the Blackcomb and Whistler Villages, about a 5 minute walk to either. Very good amenities in the kitchen and has a washer/dryer. Condo is very well stocked with all the essentials including basic spices for cooking, coffee filters, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, bathroom toiletries, and fireplace logs. During our stay, we had to contact the condo owner (Dirk) concerning a slight upstairs shower issue. He was easy to get ahold of, very pleasant to speak with, and resolved the issue promptly. This is a highly recommended rental and a great value for the location!

The Gables

Ideal position for access to both Blackcomb or Whistler gondolas. Quick stroll to village. Well stocked kitchen with everything you could want. Decor a bit dated but apartment is clean. Great spot to stay
