Brocade & Lime is a beautifully converted Victorian shop situated in the historic centre of Cork, Ireland. Accommodation includes a quirky shop lobby, spacious kitchen/diner with adjoining TV room. The property layout spans 4 floors and includes Champagne Bar, Billiards room, Mezzanine Parlour and Roof Terrace overlooking the river. Rooms are filled with antique furniture and take much of their inspiration from the Gilded age, Mid-Victorian and Belle Époque eras. We can comfortably accommodate 7 guests in 3 Bedrooms. WiFi/Smart TV/Bluetooth speakers throughout.

Unique and incredible place to stay

We absolutely fell in love with this property. It is completely unique, and so fun! The home is packed full of amazing little things to appreciate. There was tons of space to spread out and get cozy. The owners really put effort in to making the home special for the guests. The location couldn’t be better, right in the middle of the city with everything within walking distance. The owners were incredibly kind, responsive, welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this home to anyone visiting Cork…So much cooler than a hotel and a place you’ll remember forever. I just wish we had more time there.

Great Hosts, Great Accommodation, Funky Odor

Everything was really nice and true to description, but the property apparently suffers from an old sewerage system that causes it to smell of dirty river/sewerage when the window are closed. It will air out but starts over again when you wake up in the morning. Supposedly it’s weather and water level in the River Lee dependent, but still unpleasant

Wonderful Stay

We enjoyed staying at the townhouse. All instructions for entering the property were concise and easy to follow. The instruction manual was helpful. Our grandson was happy to have his own area on the floor with the pool table. All was as represented in the description and pictures. We were happy with the location and enjoyed our time in Cork

Wonderful spot for St. Patrick's Day

This was a fantastic spot to spend St. Patrick's in Cork! The property is fantastic, and it is in the perfect location for the parade, pubs, food, and shops! We couldnt have been happier.

Wonderful stay!

Everything was just as described and we had a lovely time at the Brocade and Lime. Cork is a vibrant, active city and it was extremely convenient and enjoyable to be right in the middle of it. Perfect accommodation and location

Our week at this property in Cork was absolutely perfect. The location was within walking distance to many City sites, great restaurants and fun activities. The house itself had everything needed to create the perfect home away from home. Our son particularly liked the movie room at the top of the house - his own teen den. The ourdoor space at the top of the house was a great place to enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Beds were very comfortably. Shower was excellent, kitchen had everything needed for any meal of the day. Host was available quickly to answer any questions. Thank you for a wonderful week in Cork. We will be back!

The Best Ever

We have stayed in several rentals, and Brocade and Vine is the best. The location in Cork City allowed us to walk throughout the area. The car park (with a space included in the rental price) is a short 5 minute walk. Each of the four floors of the property was expertly decorated with antique furniture and beautiful artwork. The kitchen appliances provided everything that we needed to prepare meals and coffee. Each bedroom was comfortable and roomy. Our host (Tom) provided welcome snacks/drinks, and was easily reached for any needs or inquiries. We can’t wait to return to this amazing vacation home.

Three nights exploring Cork and surrounding area.

What a wonderful property. So many interesting decorations and furnishings. High Quality beds and appliances. Great Pool Table! Location was perfect for what we were looking for. We made a couple day trips to Carrigaline and Tooraneena to walk in steps of some ancestors. The Saturday Market right outside the door of this house was a great surprise. Easy walking to many Pubs, Restaurants, etc. in Cork at night. Would highly recommend this property.

One of our favorite properties!

We travel often with a group of friends and have stayed at numerous rental properties. This one is by far one of our favorites! The location was fantastic, walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. The home itself was perfect for hanging out after a day of sightseeing; the pool table and rooftop patio was a wonderful addition. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. The ticket booth greeting us in the entrance immediately set the stage for a fun stay! Tom was excellent at stating in touch with us throughout the stay. Would highly recommend, and if we find ourselves in Cork again, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you!!

Very unique property!

Very beautiful and unique townhouse! Great location!!!!!! Close to all that Cork had to offer. I didn't think a car was necessary and I was right. Very comfortable and welcoming accommodation with every luxury you could possibly want or need. Great for families, would highly recommend!

Beautiful home and great central location

This is a one of a kind property. Wonderfully decorated and many additional amenities make this a great place to rent. On our arrival we received a welcome basket that included Prosecco and a Guinness! Enjoyed the pool table and the coffee station. Plenty of room for our family to spread out and the location in downtown Cork couldn’t have been better. Hope to stay here again.

Gorgeous

I’ll just tell you what my adult children said as we were heading out to our next destination and house. You did great on this one mom. I don’t see how the next houses could ever match this. Lots of nearby pubs for dining and drinking. House was so much fun with the pool table. We had a lovely time.

A destination on its own!!!

When traveling within or to Ireland Brocade & Lime in Cork is a destination all to its own. An amazing 4 story home with all of the amenities of home and much more. The amazing setup with interior design features that feel like 5-star turn of the 19th century just missing the Top Hat greeter and room service. Tom & Emma have put themselves into the home and it resonates in every corner with antique furniture and decorations that give some museums a run for their money. The beds are top of class with comfort through the night even for those taller than normal. The pictures do not due justice for this warm and welcoming residence that is located perfectly within the heart of all things Cork and 30 min from the Jameson/Middleton distillery. Passing through or looking for a staycation, reserve and it will not disappoint.

Incredible unique home

My fiancé and I stayed there with our parents to get married locally and could not have been more satisfied, especially with the beauty of the home. Such a unique experience and I can say unequivocally that everything went as smoothly as anyone could imagine. Five stars from top to bottom. Super cool place! Will definitely stay there again.

From the first inquiry the hosts were quick to respond and so helpful. Our family included an 11 year who loved playing pool, reading on a lounge chair and taking baths in the big tub! Adults enjoyed the terrace with beautiful view, the fun bar and well stocked kitchen. The location was superb. Walk out the door to everything Cork has to offer for shopping, dining, pubbing and music!

A fantastically decorated accommodation bang in the centre of the city.

The hosts were very quick to respond and also obligingly helpful. One of the party said "we must mention the glasses in the review" so I will. The champagne bar was a fantastic element to the stay. There was every kind of glass there. Decent wine glasses, cocktail & martini. The roof top terrace was the icing on the cake. The sun shone for our stay and we spent our late afternoons and evenings there. The "theatre" room as also used once the sun went down. The kitchen had all we needed with filtered water, a coffee machine and milk frother to boot. Minutes walk to many shops, restaurants bars etc. Supermarket on the doorstep. Thank you to our hosts Thomas and Emma. We would hope to visit again.

Such a fun property

We had such fun just exploring the 4 floors of this amazingly restored home. The attention to detail in decor and amenities made our stay very comfortable. Tom made sure he was there when we arrived later than expected to support us with the special arrangements for parking. The upgraded kitchen appliances seemlessly blended with the Victorian theme and antique furnishings throughout. The guest resource booklet was very helpful. Two grocery stores very close by if you decide to cook for yourself instead of going out. Highly recommend you go to the 4th floor balcony at night and turn on the lights for the tree. Bring a beverage of your choice and enjoy your evening!
