Mountain Views Near Zion - Wifi - Self Checkin/Out - Outdoor Fire Pit & Grill

Layout - The home has an open floor plan with the kitchen and living room connected so you can snack in the kitchen, eat at the dining table/kitchen bar, or sit on the couch watching TV and all be in the same space. Perfect for family enjoying each others company on vacation. There's also 3 large windows so you can enjoy the beautiful mountain views from inside the home as well.

Washer and Dryer - Next to the master bedroom is the laundry room. Some laundry detergent and dryer sheets are also provided free for your convenience.

Barbecue Grill - On the back patio is a natural gas grill which is for your use. Grill utensils are in the kitchen in one of the drawers. If you use the grill, please leave it clean.

Fire Pit - There is a natural gas fire pit in the backyard under the awning. Enjoy the comfortable patio furniture (seating for 8) around the fire. Enjoy the scenic mountain views, and beautiful view of the sunset.

Backyard Patio - We have seating for 8 around the fire pit, seating for 4 around a patio table to enjoy breakfast, and two bench swings.

For your entertainment - There is a 65” TV in the living room and a 49” TV in the King bedroom. Each has a Blu-ray/DVD player. We have also provided access to Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+, and YoutubeTV.

Playground - The neighborhood playground is just next door, perfect for little ones to get their wiggles out. There's also a Basketball hoop at the park as well.

Driving Distance - Our home is about 25 mins from Zion (Scenic Drive), 2 hrs from Bryce Canyon, and 2.5 hrs from the Grand Canyon. Our home is a great home base for visiting all three.


**Due to our climate we can occasionally during the hot months of the year have a high number of tiny sugar ants making their way into our home. We have the home regularly sprayed by a professional pest control company but really the only thing we've found to stop them is to use liquid ant baits once a colony starts making their way into the home. We do our best to keep our homes ant free, but unfortunately it is often the food/sugar that guests leave out on the cupboards during their stay that attracts them. Sugar ants are just something that we deal with on a daily basis here in southern Utah, including in our own homes. We do provide ant baits and instructions in our home in case any sugar ants begin to emerge during your stay.

Birthday getaway
This property was perfect for us. Everything about the property was just as described and better. Extremely quiet neighborhood and beautiful views! We were able to travel east to Zion NP and NW to the other side of Zion (Kolob Canyon) and from there just a little further to Cedar City and Cedar Breaks National Monument.

Beautiful home!
This home was very clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had a lovely view out the back. We loved coming home after a long day in the park and having a nice home in which to relax away from the busyness of Springdale. The garage was a nice bonus, since it got cold at night while we were there. The backyard is private, equipped with a large gas grill and fire pit, and a view of the mountains. There is also an indoor gas fireplace which we enjoyed on colder nights. The bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of storage space. The neighborhood was quiet. The home was well stocked with everything you need for your stay including a welcome basket, condiments, creamer, and baggies for packing your lunches! Communication with the owner was excellent. We appreciated how proactive he was in making sure we had the address, directions, etc., again on the day of our arrival. It is a 30 minute, easy drive to the park entrance. If you cannot make it to the park early enough to get a parking spot at the visitors center, then park at one of the bus stops in Springdale and pay to park to take the Springdale shuttle into the park. We felt that even accounting for a parking fee in Springdale it was worth staying at this nice, roomy, quiet, more economical home than staying in Springdale! Also, LaVerkin is closer to the Kolob Canyons section of Zion, where it is less crowded and has some beautiful hiking. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great location close enough to everything
This location was a short drive to the Zion south entrance. And also short drive to St. George where there is a lot of good restaurants and shopping. The house is within walking distance of a grocery store and coffee shop. It has a nice area in the back yard to sit and relax either by the fire pit or just sit out And enjoy drinks or coffee in the morning park right next door to this house makes it a great place for families with small kids.

We lived staying here our trip to Zion and Bryce Canyon! It was stunning to wake up to the views and sit by the fire pit in the evenings recounting our day over a smore! Perfect location with a grocery store and gas just minutes away. Higher recommend to anyone visiting Zion or Bruce! Tyler was super easy to communicate with.

We were very pleased with this house and property for two couples. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and well stocked. The outdoor space was very nice. The use of the garage was a bonus. The location was great for visiting Zion. The website for dining and other area activities was outstanding.

Perfect location
We stayed here while visiting Zion. The property was amazing! Very clean and well kept. The home was well stocked with all essentials and the property owner was very attentive to any possible needs we may have had! The location is perfect for access top the main Zion Canyon and the outskirt options of Zion, to get away from the crowds! We were extremely pleased with our experience and LaVerkin is a wonderful town with access to shopping and many restaurant choices! Wonderful place and highly recommended! Would look to stay here again should our travels take us this way!

Our Home Away from Home
Great views, roomy space, comfortable beds welcomed after our after long Zion hikes, all kitchenware and supplies were provided. Everything we needed was there plus more. The beautiful 20 minute drive to the park was no issue for us. We found groceries and restaurants in between. Everything was in perfect working condition and cleanliness was impeccable. We cooked dinner most nights and had all we needed to do so. The fire pit and party lights were used nightly. The master bed and pillows were wonderful. Great experience!

Great Location with Backyard Fire Pit and Views
Great location next near restaurants, gas stations, and local market. All utensils and appliances we needed were available in the kitchen. Living room was spacious and open to the kitchen area. The three bedrooms were well appointed and the beds very comfortable. The king bedroom has the only TV of the three and the attached bathroom has a jetted tub. Our favorite place was the back patio, which had a large gas fire place and a gas barbecue grill. The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. You can't go wrong with choosing this property and we would definitely stay there again!

Peaceful backyard vistas
The home was located in a quiet neighborhood about 20 miles outside of Zion National Park. The back patio had a nice fire pit, plenty of seating and beautiful sunset views overlooking the mountains. The beds were comfortable and the full kitchen allowed us to eat breakfast and lunch in which helped with the expense. There are several restaurants in town to choose from and even a drive through coffee shop with delicious scones right as you enter the neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Roadtrip respite
My husband and 3 teenagers took a roadtrip from Oregon to Texas. This was our only stop where we booked two nights. I thought having a house would be more fun than hotel…and I was right! We had a quick drive to Zion and with Tyler’s great Zion tips we had an easy time planning our day. Coming back in the evening and enjoying a family movie and the backyard was relaxing after a day of 10 miles hiking. And one of the best parts- this is one of the cleanest rentals we’ve stayed in. You will enjoy your stay.

Perfect for family trip
We spent 2 nights here and would gladly have stayed longer. The property was clean and comfortable with every amenity we wanted. We were able to do laundry (after camping on a previous leg of the trip). The teenagers were happy with the movie & game selection. Overall a great experience!

La Verkin Zion retreat
5 stars and then some! The cleanest and most well stocked place I have stayed in! The communication from the owner was fantastic and there was a welcome basket and book with all needed info for our stay. We were 5 adult family members and we had plenty of room. We chose to eat in and the kitchen is so well stocked. The views are beautiful and the location was perfect for our adventures in Zion national Park. Thank you for a great place! We will be back!!

Comfortable home close to Zion National Park
The home was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy our family vacation to southern Utah. It was conveniently located a quick and scenic drive to Zion National Park. We left early each morning to beat the heat and crowds, and made it to the park within 20 minutes. We found the kitchen and bathrooms to be stocked with plenty of necessities to make us feel right at home. The back patio was a really pleasant place to enjoy evenings relaxing and watching the sunset. We visited the local market for groceries, which was very close to the home. We also found it easy to travel to Hurricane and even St. George to find other dining options or to visit the cinema after a long day of hiking at Zion. We would love to visit again someday!

Our stay here was Amazing!
We very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It is spacious and very comfortable. We had everything we needed throughout the home. Plenty of towels, kitchen utensils, paper products. Everything is very well thought out. The view was one of our favorite things. Each morning, we were greeted by a gorgeous view while we enjoyed our coffee. The outdoor seating was perfect. The location was spot on. Only a 20 minute drive to Zion National Park. Having a grocery store and restaurants only 5 minutes away in La Verkin was perfect. This VRBO, was by far, one of the best we have stayed in. We highly recommend it!!

Zion vacation
We stayed at this property for three nights. It is a wonderful location especially if you want to see Zion. The description matched what we saw. My family and I enjoyed relaxing in the backyard with the mountains in the distance. It is a quiet location and perfect if you had a full day of hiking which is what we did. Tyler was wonderful about communication. I would definitely stay here again if we come back to this area.
