Good location for Ffestiniog railway and Port Merrion
I think the dull sky in March didn't help and the railway wasn't yet open for the season. Overall though a nice few days away. Comfortable bed, lovely sitting room to watch the sea birds. Kitchen well equipped to cook a meal but we found a couple of good restaurants which are mentioned in the information given.
Very good location. Nice views over the water, walks round the town and harbour, and easy for scenic drives round the Llyn peninsular.
Clean and well appointed house, and the hosts could not have done any more to make the stay more enjoyable.
The property is a lovely little find in Porthmadog. When you enter the house, the two bedrooms and bathroom are there on the ground floor but a short flight of stairs takes you to the living area which has the most wonderful view through a picture window of the estuary. We spent a lot of time just looking at this - tide in, tide out, swans, a heron who came each day and the way the view changed according to the weather.
The adjoining kitchen area is well equipped and every thing is spotlessly clean. The bathroom is quite small but functional.
The owner Michelle sent lots of information about the property and the surrounding area, recommending places to eat and to visit. The Ffestiniog Railway Station is literally yards away and worth booking. And we would definitely recommend the Good Mood restaurant at the yacht club across the river for a pizza!
Lovely apartment, beautifully furnished with a stunning view and amazing wildlife. Michelle was easy to contact and responded quickly to any queries.
So much to do in and around the area.
Highly recommended.

Lovely accommodation and well equipped with fantastic views. Our weather was a little wet but had great fun on the Ffestiniog Railway and great eating places nearby.
A compact and very nice property with spectacular views across the harbour estuary. All well equipped with modern amenities and comfortable. Very convenient for the Ffestiniog Railway with the station and ticket office just nearby. Our short stay in July was marred by unseasonal cool and wet weather, but otherwise we enjoyed our visit.
The property looked really good from photos and description so booked it .Being there however exceeded our expectations as views from living room were simply stunning. Property well equipped ,quiet and within a few minutes walk to Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway and shops. Plenty of coastal /country walks available too. Michelle so helpful with a full list of recommendations for local area including restaurants, places to visit etc .Would highly recommend this place
The location of this property is perfect. I quick walk to the shops or a local pizza and the main high street and shops. Its also on the doorstep of the railway for days out. Its quiet at the property and theres lots to view. The rowing boats and birds feeding. The property is comfy and clean and a good size. Our little dog loves the balcony to sit on. You can sit and dine there. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and theres a local tesco to buy food. The lounge area is specious and the view is stunning. The bedrooms are downstairs and its very quiet at night. No traffic noises or pubs etc. Just perfect. Free Wi-Fi. Shower room. Entrance area to leave walking boots and coats. The Allocated parking space is very convenient. A great place to stay in port. Well worth it.
Enjoyed every minute of our stay the view was amazing we were lucky to get the good weather but still would have enjoyed it either way very clean would definitely stay again
Neat and complete, lovely atmosphere and very complete inventory. It was a dream in itself to lie in the comfortable bed with the window open and listen to the sounds of the water.
My schoolfriend and I from yesteryear planned a weekend in North Wales as a get-together. We found this lovely place and looked forward to our time away.
We were not disappointed. I have rarely stayed (and I travel a lot!) in such a well-appointed, well thought-out, comfortable 'pad'. The owners clearly take pride in maintaining the property and there really wasn't anything that we needed that we couldn't find.
The location right on the waterfront was absolutely charming (even in the howling winds of Storm Kathleen - April '24). The Festinniog railway is a few minutes walk away and we enjoyed a fabulous train ride up into the hills. We also visited Bangor, Black Rock Sands and Beddgelert by car and walked to Portmeirion.
Loved this little place and were very impressed by the care and communication of the owners.
We loved this place! parking directly outside. Short stroll to the railway & Spooners. Upstairs: Super comfy large sofa, great kitchen with lots of equipment except chopping boards! private little balcony. TV & WiFi reception good. Amazing view. Downstairs: beds very comfy & very quiet. Bathroom excellent. Perfect holiday spot.
Near to town, which has many and varied places to eat. Excellent walks on the flat or hills. Get the bus to Criccieth and walk the coast back, about 7.5 miles, followed by an excellent lunch at Tafarn Pencei. Then watch the seabirds from your sofa. Perfect!
Small yet practical place with a wonderful view that fascinated us for hours. It's all about the location. Michelle was wonderful to deal with.
Only minus for us were the beds and it not being spotless when looking above and below eye-level.
Wonderful accommodation, very clean and has everything you could need. Lots of information and contact wuth hostess excellent and very helpful. We will certainly go again.
As a former owner of a VRBO property, I value communication as much as I value the property itself. The owners were responsive, attentive and thorough from the very beginning. The property is delightful and the view and location simply can't be beat! I have nothing but praise. Thanks for a magical and easy vacation.
