Our spacious Cape Cod Beach home offers a relaxing retreat for families & friends and can accommodate up to 8 guests. Enjoy the 20 Minute Walk to the Nantucket Sound beaches or Rt. 28 for Restaurants and some Mini Golf! or just relax and disconnect in the gorgeous backyard!

Beautiful GREAT location 3-bedroom Apartment in Yarmouth / Bass River. Enjoy Cape Cod living with pure convenience! Close to everything!!! With many of Nantucket Sound beaches less than a mile away as well as Main St./Rt. 28. Great for families of all with lots of shopping, go carts, mini golf, batting cages, arcade, ice cream and NEW inflatable water park!!!!! Great location only 15 minutes to Cape Cod Hospital for medical professionals on rotations!

The home accommodates 8 people comfortably. The Beach House amenities include: 3 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen for those of you who are aspiring chefs with plenty of space to socialize, separate dining area, 2 living room areas with an open feel, 2 bathrooms, washer & dryer, large backyard and gas grill, parking lot for 2 cars with off street parking for many more.

Each bedroom has a spacious closet and windows for direct sunlight or fresh air. Linens will also be provided along with towels and basic toiletry.

Bedroom 1: 1 King Size Bed, Lots of closets and storage.

Bedroom 2: 2 Twin Beds, TV with Amazon fire stick, Closet.

Bedroom 3: Bunk Bed (1 Full Size, 1 Twin Size)

Living Area 1: Large Sectional Couch, tile floors, wicker glass table and 4 chairs, 2 extra wicker chairs and 40-Inch LCD TV, Extra Laundry room with washer & dryer and vacuum.

Living Area 2: Leather couch, tile floors, glass sliding doors to large backyard, bookcase with games and other Cape Cod fun!

Kitchen: Electric stove/oven, full size refrigerator with automatic ice cube maker, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, utensils, pots and pans.

Dining Area: Dining table with chairs

The space will also include Cape Cod guide books, board games, and some accessories for your convenience.

This is a family friendly home, and we hope that your family will be comfortable and enjoy their stay on Cape Cod.

I am happy to answer any questions or concerns regarding the apartment/area. Prompt in responding to any inquiries. Please ask us about pet policy as we accept them on a case by case basis for a small fee.

Disappointments

1) dishwasher not working with no advance notice2) insufficient toilet paper supply (only one roll upstairs)3) no paper towels at all4) building in disrepair (peeling paint, exposed spackle, etc,,,)5) lights in dining area not functioning6) although there was a notice in the booklet about delicate septic plumbing there were no signs in the bathroom warning visitors not to flush toilet paper. signs in the bathroom would help prevent problems especially since the bathroom is often a first stop when arriving.

Mostly good, could’ve been great

Walked in and immediately noticed many broken things. Tiles, shelves, the sink faucet leaking. Paint peeling and discoloring on the bathroom ceiling that was suspicious. Downstairs bathroom shower in need of TLC. Linens were clean, floor and couch looked good. Communication at the start was okay, but it was progressively lacking as the week came to an end. Missing one of the ACs, host offered to reimburse us if we purchased and installed a new AC (which we did) and did not reimburse until the very last morning. Most windows do not have curtains. “Closing” was easy, trash and a quick sweep. Great for our last minute booking. Would consider booking again, if place is repaired. Otherwise more money than worth it with the things we needed to do to make it sleepable. ie: breaker popped prior to our arrival and had to figure out how to get power in the upstairs master bedroom/bathroom in the middle of the night at arrival. No AC in room as advertised. (Now there is) Had to instal it ourselves Told not to worry about broken tiles, doors, misc items. Hoping better for future guests.

Cape Cod get away

Had an awesome time. Charlie is a vey easy person to talk to and very friendly. It is awesome to be able to bring the pets down too. Excellent location. Will definitely stay here again. The Greany Family

girls trip (adults)

we enjoy the cape every sept. just the women, leave their husbands' homes. the house was clean and comfortable, although dated and in need of many small repairs. the air conditioning in the room with twin bed is noisy and makes for difficult sleep. Overall we were very happy there.

quiet and spacious

This is our 2nd stay here. We really like the location in a nice neighborhood and being able to bring our pets is a huge plus. The house is very roomy and comfortable. Will stay here again. The Greany Family.

Great house and location

It was a great experience and location on the cape for our vacation. The beach was only a mile away if that and nice areas to walk. The three bedrooms were perfect for the folks we had there.

Not a 5 Star Stay

Prompt communication and friendly owner. Detailed check in and a great itinerary of local attractions is provided. The condition of the house, however, is less to be desired. One bathtub has the finish peeling off the tub, obvious water damage in rooms, broken floor tiles, broken screen door, broken countertops, poor lighting, broken fencing, mold on shower curtains and gross. I expected more than motel quality for the price paid. Be sure to take pictures of absolutely EVERYTHING as I was charged for items that were already broken and in poor condition upon our arrival (based on the cleaning crew's reporting). Was even accused of not picking up after my dog when we certainly did. We will certainly not stay here again.

Comfortable and spacious

Excellent house for our family of 8 plus a dog. Spacious and had everything you needed from linens to cutlery beach chairs and coolers. And we loved how close it was to Smugglers Beach ( 20 min walk). Charlie was a great host - he even greeted us and made sure we were all settled in nicely.

Vacay

We had an amazing week at Charlie’s house. It was exactly how it was listed. The beds were comfy and it was so nice to have air conditioning. The dogs absolutely loved the freedom of the fenced in backyard. The location of the house is great because it is very close to the down town area but still within a bike ride to the beach. Thank you for sharing your home.

Perfect vacation

We have always vacationed down the Cape for years when the kids were little and after a 20 year hiatus, returned with our grown children and granddaughter. We chose Charlie's place because of the familiarity of S.Yarmouth. We were pleasantly surprised since the on-line photos didn't do his place justice! Perfect neighborhood, close to all the places we love, and the accommodations were great! Clean, plenty of space, great fenced in backyard overlooking green space habitat with beautiful birds and natures sounds. We will definitely be asking to return again next summer. Thank you so much Charlie for sharing your Cape house with us! The Callahan Family.

stay not as advertised

sent this email to you 2 days ago: Good afternoon, I am writing regarding our recent booking : We had some issues while there , spoke w/ the owner at least three times and he had agreed to return some of the fees as the roof leaked and it rained in one of the bedrooms, house was not clean upon arrival and needed to call company, many damages in the home and some were potentially dangerous. We have emailed him since our return home and allowed for a ten day period for a reply and we have not heard back . I wish to have someone reach out and let me know how we go about receiving some of our fees returned. Thank you, Deb Dopp

Great central location to explore all of Cape cod

The property had everything we needed. The backyard was fully fenced in, so my dogs could run freely. The only issue was the mattresses, if anyone has a bad back, I would ask the owner if he got better mattresses, they are ok if you're young.

Cape Cod Getaway

Welcome home away from home

What a great place to escape to. Charlie was the consummate host he hit all the high notes restaurant recommendations day trip recommendations and a very homey place away from real life for a week! Our whole family Dog included enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was perfect for walks in the morning and even the rainy days were relaxing. If you rent this home it won’t disappoint. Be sure to check out The Wydah Pirate Museum lots of cool stuff there as well. With great full hearts, The David DeGroff Family and Cooper

The house was nice, big and comfortable. It was only 20 min walk from the beach. It had a fenced yard where our god loved to play! The kitchen had everything we needed. We also liked to grill outside. We really enjoyed our stay!

Not What Expected

The pictures are better than what it looks like in person. Charlie, the owner is nice enough, but this is more of a fraternity house than place for families. The rooms need to be updates, old sheets, rugs, tubs, and drawers in kitchen. We found old pots and pans, semi working toaster, and a drawer that was broken that we had to place somewhere else not to damage it further. The house has a wild area near back yard welcoming animals. Therefore, we woke up to trash, not ours the previous renters, all over the back yard due to proper trash cans not being installed. We had to pick up all the trash ourselves that wasn't ours. The grill in the picture is not what you get. Both grills are rusted and we were not able to cook on them. We were looking forward to smores and outdoor cooking. Didn't happen. The outdoor door doesn't close all the way. If you have a dog make sure you keep inside door closed at all times. Also. the sewage smell was overpowering and it was only April. Charlie is a nice guy, but he did not reimburse us for our troubles even a little. Not worth it!
