We had a fabulous stay in Carlton 2 while at the famous Keswick Convention, which will celebrate its 150 anniversary in 2025.
Everything was meticulously prepared and the check in went without a hitch, which was a relief in the torrential rain.
Contact with the host before and during the stay was faultless. The accommodation is light and very modern, and the parking spot was a great feature, as it meant we didn't need the car the whole time we were there
We loved staying at the Carlton2 apartment which has a great location in the centre of Keswick where everything is on your doorstep. The communication with Adrian was brilliant, the apartment was clean, tidy and had everything you could possibly need for a holiday. The beds were super comfortable and everything in the apartment was of the highest quality. We will definitely be back.
Beautiful homely apartment . Central location. Accessible for walks, Marina, cafes and restaurants.
Added extras made the stay extra special with gorgeous views of the lake hills.
My family of five said it’s the best place they’ve stayed in the lakes so far.

This property was an immaculate and spacious 2 bedroom apartment. There was a lovely lounge dining area with huge TV/DVD player. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped with a dishwasher and everything you could possibly think of. The bathroom has both a bath and a shower and the towels are fluffy, white and big enough to cover all your bits! The communication throughout was outstanding. The instructions to get into the building were fail safe. The location is just off the main street so lovely and quiet but within 2 minutes walk of restaurants and bars. We have loved Keswick and need a return visit asap. Guess where we will be booking?
The property was home from home. Everything was super clean and of the highest quality. The kitchen was modern and well stocked. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and the lounge was cosy with all mod cons. All in all a lovely experience. It was my second visit at the property and would go again.
We had a lovely stay here, despite the rather wet weather. It is ideally located it the centre of Keswick, with great parking and easy keyless access so no worries about forgetting the key and it also meant the teens could come and go as they pleased as well. The apartment itself is well equipped, larger than we thought but still cosy. Would definitely recommend and will return again.
This is a beautiful, clean property in a perfect location! The house exceeded our expectations! Comfortable beds (great after a long day out!), excellent kitchen with everything you need - great view from the dining areas and living room! Bathroom was beautiful with high-end shower and bath tub. Everything was high quality (even towels, toilet paper, kitchen supplies, etc.)! We could walk right into the village for a meal and the hosts even gave us a suggestion for one of the most beautiful hikes of our lives -- and you don't have to drive and find parking --- you can leave for gorgeous walks right from the house! We explored many villages along the Lake District and we think Keswick is the best! The great reviews are the reason we booked here and it exceeded what we were looking for -- you will be so glad you stayed here. We really can't thank the hosts enough -- Adrian provided excellent communication and the house is super clean, had a great selection of games (which they switch out between guests to keep clean), music, Netflix and Disney...all the small things that you wish for on a holiday --- wish no longer -- they thought of it all!
What a fabulous find! We were so impressed with this property. It comfortably fitted 4 of us in it, and was perfect for a break to celebrate a birthday. The location was just right, enabling us to wander into Keswick central within seconds, or travel a bit further afield to enjoy the multitude of gorgeous walks that the Lake District has to offer.
The apartment itself is beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches throughout, and has a fantastic media system for those evenings when the weather keeps you indoors.

Spacious well equipped apartment in an excellent location. Everything we needed was available & property was clean, comfortable & warm. Fabulous views of the mountains in the distance & we even had some snow to really make this trip a memorable Christmas break. We will definitely consider staying here again the next time we visit Keswick xx
Great location for Keswick, easy walk to market/stores/buses/trails but far enough to be quiet. Didn’t have a car but the off street parking looked more than adequate.
Great lodging in Keswick! Really convenient location, couple of minutes walk to the high street and busy shopping area. Close to the riverside park and hiking trails.
Suite was very clean and well appointed. Adrian, the host, was very helpful and super responsive when I had questions. Very much appreciated.

Very clean, easy access, and great location - walkable to many Keswick eateries and a great hub for the many Lake District adventures that are a short drive away. Our family also enjoyed the playground and cricket matches at Fitz Park, a five minute walk. Adrian was easy to work with and went over the top by mailing us BOTH of our kindles that we mistakenly left under the very comfortable pillows!
What a wonderful surprise Carlton2 was. An immaculate and well-appointed property in a great location in Keswick. Just steps from the main square, shops, restaurants.
The property was one of the most comfortable we have stayed in. From the welcome bottle of Prosecco and the snack box to the comfortable beds and huge bathroom, everything exceeded our expectations. The hosts were very helpful with any needs. We only wish we had allowed more time in the Lake District. If you're looking for a great place to base yourself in the Lake District, you could not do better than Carlton2.

Why they chose this property
We enjoy the lakes so now was the right time for us to purchase Carlton 2 and update it to modern living. We both love Keswick and all it has to offer both in the Summer and Winter. The apartment is warm clean and the views of the Skiddaw massif are simply stunning. We get great light on the first floor and it is a very roomy apartment
