Disappointed
The property on the outside is beautiful and the house has so much potential but there is nothing luxury about the inside of the property.
We arrived and there was mice poop and dead flies all over the house including in the beds.
They cleaned it the next day but it should have been cleaned before we arrived. The PM wasn’t happy that I requested a clean and made me feel as that I should do it.
There was only one TV which was old and didn’t work the first day. They fixed it the next day but there is no cable. All they had was an ‘android box’ that streams a version of live TV which is terrible if you have to pay for going over the internet limit. Most of my kids had to stream on their phones using our international data plan.
The pillows were old and smelled of sweat.
It’s an expensive property that’s run very cheaply which is sad because it has a lot of potential.
The PM was responsive however but I’ll be much more observant of the pictures and rules before I book another property.
If I’m paying that much money to stay somewhere, I expect more mod-cons and for it to be deep clean.
VRBO is investigating for H&S.
