Gästhuset på Willow Springs Farm - centrala Shenandoah Valley läge

Vårt sekelskiftes Shenandoah Valley Farmhouse är bekvämt för resenärer (tio minuter från I-81, exit 235) och centralt beläget för semesterfirare (20 minuter till Harrisonburg, Staunton, Natural Chimneys, 30 minuter till Shenandoah National Park, George Washington National Forest , mindre än en timme till Lexington, Charlottesville, Highland County).

Sitter nästan ½ mil från länsvägen, tyst och ensamhet med vissa landljud bör förväntas på Willow Springs. Mysigt upp på många ställen inomhus och ute med en bra bok, ritningsplatta eller vad som helst som passar dig. Gå ut, gå runt och upplev en enkel, långsammare takt. Titta på nötkreatur beta medan du lyssnar på fåglarna. Stjärniga nätter, fantastiska månar, och soluppgången och inställningen bör inte missas. Kom och upplev denna gård när hon kommer tillbaka till livet.

Den hundra år gamla bondgården har bibehållits, uppdaterats, utökats och renoverats genom åren. Vad hon saknar i elegans blir hon charm och karaktär. Du kommer att hitta huset extra rent, sporta ett nytt lager färg, nya lyxiga sängkläder och plush handdukar. Vi kommer att fortsätta förbättra utsidan, alltid försäkra ditt besök är oavbruten.

Kom upp veranda och gå in i huset. Alla sovrum är på övervåningen, rakt framåt. Till höger är det bekväma vardagsrummet komplett med grundläggande TV (främst nätverk via antenn och blueray / DVD-spelare). Vänster leder dig genom ett annat samlingsrum till det uppdaterade och snyggt utrustade köket, komplett med en Kuerig kaffebryggare. Det enda badrummet är en enkel som ligger bakom matsalen.

På övervåningen finns tre sovrum. Två har drottningar och man har ett par tvillingar. De fyra Kingsdown-madrasserna är helt nya. Dubbelzonens centrala värme och luft ger en jämn och bekväm miljö. Inga naturgas eller propansystem eliminerar gasens oro i hemmet. Kinetico vattensystemet ger friskt och renat brunnsvatten.

Omfattande landskapsarkitektur ramar en underbar uteplats och däck till vänster och baksidan av hemmet. Njut av en biff på gasgrillen eller laga något i lägereldet (ved tillhandahålls med ved). Gott om utrymme är tillgängligt för barnen att vandra, utforska skogen och spela i smutsen. Många lantbruksaktiviteter kan avnjutas här. Var inte blyg, fråga bara och vi gör dig rätt att "arbeta". Vill du ha en bon-eld, kan vädret tillåta det ordnas. Vad sägs om en hayrid runt fastigheten? Idyllic Farmhouse in Augusta County

The farmhouse was topnotch... Comfy beds, beautiful old wooden floors, and nice heating. For those with small bladders, worth highlighting that the 3 bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. G.R. was a wonderful, thoughtful host. One of the outdoor cats (Hunky) was extremely friendly. Would definitely book again.

Fun on the farm!

We had a wonderful time on the farm! We saw chickens, cows, deer, a raccoon, a skunk, and some adorable barn cats. The owners are very nice and very hospitable. The farm house was the perfect size for our family to stay in and it had everything we needed. We highly recommend this vacation spot.

Great family gathering place

Willow Farms is a great place for families. My adult boys love to cook, and the kitchen was well stocked with all thevpots and pans they needed. The setting is peaceful with plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy a sunny day. We loved our visit.

Wonderful Valley Home

Garland and his wife were great hosts! The home was just as described—very clean, good AC (it was HOT outside), comfy beds and nice seating areas. They brought us farm-fresh eggs when we arrived and made us feel right at home. The views are wonderful and we were within 15-20 minutes of all the things we wanted to see. This is a gem of a home and we’d love to stay again.

Great Stay in the farmhouse

Really nice stay in this peaceful farmhouse. We were visiting the Shakespeare center in Staunton, but wanted to stay somewhere out of town. This old farmhouse was peaceful, clean, and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. The host was incredibly helpful and communicative. Use Google Maps to get there, Apple maps took my wife to the wrong street. We will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay in this farmhouse. It was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed. Beautiful family stay

This was the perfect stay! Huge property close to Staunton but out in the country to really have peace and quiet. The host’s family is friendly and welcoming. The provided us eggs and beef, as well as having the kids play with his son and help with morning farm chores. The home is old and beautifully restored and comfortable. We had family we were visiting come out for dinner and there was plenty of room outside to host them and all the kids. Highly recommend this stay!

Gorgeous and comfortable country retreat

Beautiful and exceptionally well-managed property in really pretty rural surroundings. Far from any hint of the city or suburbs yet convenient to amenities. Prime stargazing. The house is spacious, clean, has loads of character, and has all the major amenities. Frictionless check-in.
