Bay Cottage är en vacker stuga från 1700-talet som ligger i hjärtat av den historiska badstaden Broadstairs. Stugan har kärleksfullt renoverats till en hög specifikation men den behåller fortfarande sin ursprungliga charm, karaktär och funktioner. Detta är verkligen det bästa stället att bo i Broadstairs bara en minuts promenad bort till den vackra sandstranden i den berömda Viking Bay och en mängd fantastiska restauranger, barer och butiker.
Stugan har också en stor uteplats på baksidan.
Fastigheten erbjuder en mängd boende, inklusive 3 sovrum, varav 2 dubbelrum och ett med 2 enkelsängar. Dessutom finns det ett badrum på första våningen med badkar och dusch på översta våningen.
När du kommer in i stugan finns ett vackert presenterat, avkopplande vardagsrum med originella träbjälkar och en härlig mysig öppen spis under vintermånaderna. Det finns TV- och DVD-spelare för din underhållning samt gratis WIFI.
Från vardagsrummet går du till ett välutrustat kök, som inkluderar diskmaskin, mikrovågsugn och kyl och frys.
Från en dörr i köket kan du komma åt en härlig privat innergård med grill och utemöbler.
En kort spiral trappa till första våningen leder dig till sovrum, en med en dubbelsäng och en med 2 enkelsängar. På denna våning finns också badrummet, med ett bad i full storlek med duschmontering, handfat och toalett.
En annan spiraltrappa leder dig till det tredje sovrummet som har en dubbelsäng och en duschkabin.

Lovely quirky cottage within the town centre. Very clean and cozy. Stairs could be challenging for older people, although not an issue for us.

Gorgeous cottage in brilliant location

We had a wonderful break in Broadstairs. The cottage is so pretty and the owners have thought of lots of details, from restaurant recommendations, to supplying a cool box for beach picnics, as well as a collection of beach toys stored in the garden. The house is very well equipped, good WiFi and Netflix etc set up. The cottage is 100 yards from the beach and right by all the shops, it was very easy to access the whole town. The central location meant it was noisy in the evening at the weekend, but it didn’t bother us at all. We will definitely be going back :)

Charming and comfortable cottage in centre of Broadstairs

Charming, attractive old cottage complete with wooden beams and floors, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Plenty of space for us as a family (though as others have mentioned, there is one bathroom rather than two). The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The location is very central and right next to the action - which is great in terms of being a minute from the beach, restaurants etc but did mean it was noisy at night, with it being a bank holiday weekend (some antisocial behaviour in the street plus loud music from the bars). Overall, though, we enjoyed our stay, had a great afternoon on the beach and several good meals, including the Jetty and takeaway seafood from Flotsam & Jetsam (just down from the cottage).

Bay Cottage Bliss!

We had a wonderful two night stay at the pretty & quaint Bay Cottage in Broadstairs. The cottage is a stones throw from last that the picturesque Broadstairs has on offer. Restaurants, bars and of course the beach. We all enjoyed it so much we will be returning again in the future. Only one downside is there is only one toilet and very steep stairs. Besides that it really was a lovely place to stay. Thank you.

Lovely cottage in the heart of Broadstairs

We had a great time at the cottage, it has charming period details, and is quiet, but close to all Broadstairs' bars and restaurants. The owners gave us all the details we needed to make the most of our stay and were extremely helpful when we had any issues.

Lovely time in Broadstairs

Spent a relaxing six days in Broadstairs and this beautiful cottage was, for us, the perfect place to stay. It was clean, comfortable and included all the amenities you need for a break away. We were lucky with the weather and so made good use of the lovely garden, the garden chairs were very comfortable and was a great space to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner or just to sit and relax in. The sitting room was a relaxing place to sit too. It's also a great spot to 'people watch.' This cottage is close to the Beach, Shops and Restaurants. Would highly recommend and would love to stay there again.

Lovely cottage.

Firstly, I would like to point out that I like to make reviews as accurate as possible so others can get an accurate account of the property. I bookedd this property as the one I normally stay in (Canterbury) had already been taken. Having looked at the listing I had Great Expectations (see what I did there)...This house lived up without a doubt. It's a charming house full of character. Well equiped and with a wonderful courtyard garden. I was travelling with a small dog (Queenie) and she was also made very welcome....well done to the owners for these extra touches. This cottage is one of about 6 owned by the owners and I think it is safe to say that if they are all to the standard of this one you can book with confidence. So you may ask why 4 stars and not 5.....here is a slight down side. I booked under the impression that this was a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house. In fact there is a main bathroom on the first floor and a shower in the top floor bedroom (this was very handy additional facility). However travelling with two elderly pensioners (my in laws) made the bathroom situation a little lacking in privacy. So I think in conclusioin this is a great house for a couple or a family, but not one for adults travelling together. That siad this is the only 'niggle'....we coped. Would definately recommend and come back - with Queenie but I would leave the in-laws at home next time.

Beautiful cottage in prime spot

We fell in love with Broadstairs. Such a wonderful seaside town, oozing charm and spoiled for choice with so many wonderful places to eat and drink. Our cottage was small but atmospheric - so much history and we loved how authentic it felt. Quite basic in terms of amenities and the living space (esp dining table area) was smaller than we’d expected - but everything we needed for a short break - comfy beds and lots of hot water. And 2 mins walk to one of the best beaches so location spot on! We really appreciated being able to check in a little earlier on arrival - thankyou.

Bay Cottage

Lovely homely cottage, with a great outside space for eating if the weather is good. We found, probably due to covid that the tea shop next door put out tables outside each morning, which unfortunately were very close to front of house and often woke us up early due to noise. But overall a great stay and would recommend.

Absolutely Wonderful

We had a lovely time staying in this cottage in Broadstairs. The location was great being right on the high-street and incredibly close to the beach. The house is a quaint and quirky cottage and really cosy.

Lovely cottage in a prime location!

Cottage was perfect for a weekend away with friends, easy walking distance from train station. Cosy cottage with comfy beds and good cooking equipment. We will be back!

Varför värden valde detta boende

This is a beautiful character cottage in a top location in Broadstairs. The cottage is only a stones throw away from the beautiful sandy Viking Bay and numerous other sandy beaches are within easy walking distance. The cottage is set back off Harbour street at the entrance to a small enclosed courtyard. An array of fabulous restaurants and bars are within 2 minutes walk away and also local shops, where you can buy everything you need without using a car.
The cottage is a perfect get away all year round. The cottage is in a perfect location to explore the other coastal towns of Margate and Ramsgate and the medieval city of Canterbury is only 20 minutes away by train or car.
We are also happy to welcome dogs.
