For reference, our party:
Family vacation. 8 adults, 2 children (5 & 13)
3 of the adults had mobility issues; 1 requiring an electric scooter, and 2 with bad knees
Regarding navigating for the 3 mentioned above - the house has a lot of stairs, steep stairs, so it was an absolute godsend that this property has a working elevator. It’s a full 60 seconds from the bottom to the top, but the elevator was easy to use and WONDERFUL for groceries, as the main kitchen is on 2. The house was nice and open, with plenty of room to spare, so my brother-in-law was able to move around with his scooter quite easily.
5 of the bedrooms are king beds, EACH with it’s own full bath/ensuite
1 bedroom had a full/bunk bed combo, also had a full bath ensuite
The house was gorgeous, most rooms quite spacious, and the kitchen was amazing to cook in. We all remarked that we’d never been in a rental with so many pots/pans/utensils/cups/mugs/silverware/dishes! The only downfall is that they were lacking both kitchen towels and oven mits. After day 3, we went and bought oven mits and left them behind for future guests. We used any unused bath towels for drying dishes. It was odd, but we made it work, and let the property managers know.
The pool/hot tub were both lovely and the spa easy to operate - it just took a while to warm, which is rather typical. The garage on the right (facing the house) had lots of pool noodles, etc. We left some boogie boards behind. :) There are also some folding beach chairs to use, which we took full advantage of. The community pool to the left of the house looked quite nice (although we didn’t use it), and offered nice canopies for rent with gravity chairs on the beach. Again, we didn’t utilize - it was too windy for them to set up the days we wanted them.
The access to the beach can be hot during the day - bring your flips!
The beach itself was rather unique. Lots of chunky shells (although not terrible on the feet), and the water was rather riddled with odd rocks. However, we found a spot that was rock-free and we spent most of our days there. To find: at the bottom of the stairs, go right. Where there is a gap in the houses, it’s slightly past that. It’s about a 2 minute walk or so. No rocks, nice beach! You’re welcome!
Would ABSOLUTELY rent this property again!
