NY LISTE! WATERFRONT -WESTCOTT BAY nær ROCHE HARBOUR! (Oyster Beach House).

Denne smukke nordvestlige hjem blev bygget i 2017, overvejende med træ selektivt høstet fra ejendommen. Hvile på vandkanten med flot udsigt over Westcott Bay dette tre soveværelser, to badeværelser hjem er det perfekte sted at nyde din tid på San Juan Island. Huset ligger på en stille blindgyde med adgang til mange miles af velmærkede stier i National Park og Roche Harbour trail systemer. Westcott Bay Oyster Company ligger 10 minutters gang fra huset. Der er skridt ned til din egen private strand for at nyde vandet og en port, der hjælper med at lukke hjortehegnet for at beskytte den smukke landskabspleje.

Det 2. soveværelse (queensize-seng) og 3. soveværelse (to enkeltsenge) deler begge et komplet badeværelse med regnbruser.

Afslut din dag på den dejlige cedertræ, da du nyder en udendørs grillmad blandt venner. Havfugle og dyreliv vil være sikker på at lette dig ind i den afslappende ø livsstil.

Wonderful relaxing experience!

The cabin is immaculate, comfortable and quite luxurious. We explored the nearby trail systems, ate delicious meals at nearby restaurants and utilized the fully stocked kitchen. Will be back!

Beautifully Serene

The home was better than described, absolutely beautiful! It was warm, welcoming, and immaculate! A picturesque setting in a quiet and forest-like neighborhood, on the water and walking distance to the delicious Wescott Bay Shellfish Co. Yum! Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us, definitely a return trip in our future!

Beautiful and Peaceful

The place was spectacular for our Girls getaway. Impressed the moment we arrived. Gorgeous views, well appointed furnishings, beds were comfy, bathrooms and showers were clean, spacious with strong hot water pressure. We made dinner one night and the Thermador appliances were easy to work with. We’d come back here, highly recommend.

Oyster House is excellent!

This was our third time staying at this gorgeous home. Westcott Bay is gorgeous and peaceful with easy access to Roach Harbor, Friday Harbor and all the other fun things on San Juan Island. We will definitely return again and would recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy San Juan Island.

This home is amazing! Right on the bay with a gorgeous view, high end finishes on everything, breathtaking floors, top end appliances, this home was fantastic. Better than advertised! We brought our paddle boards and launched right in front of the house.

Spring Celebratory San Juan Island Getaway

This gorgeous home had an incredible view of the water and the house was comfortable for 2 couples celebrating birthdays. We enjoyed this quiet neighborhood and discovering the island treasures like Roche Harbor, local winery/brewery, sights, and restaurants. The only thing that needed to be looked into were the blinds in the bedroom closest to the kitchen, we wished they closed for privacy and blocking out the morning sun.

Beautiful, Quiet, and Relaxing

Very clean, quiet, relaxing and beautiful location. The view is fantastic. The home is just as advertised - clean, comfortable, and peaceful. It is located in a neighborhood, but you really feel like you are in your own little world. We enjoyed taking day trips around the island and then coming home in the afternoons to relax and enjoy the calm beauty. We don’t have anything negative to say about the home or surrounding area. Would highly recommend.

Peaceful family retreat away from home

We stayed at the Oyster Beach House in October, and had a wonderful stay! We sought wheelchair accessibility and child-friendly accommodation and were not disappointed. Each room had its own zone climate control, and the bathrooms had heaters so early morning showers were pleasant. The kitchen was wonderfully appointed, and the place was spotless. We made a couple inquiries with the rental agency and they were super quick to respond. The WiFi supported three adults worth of devices, and the house had a number of books and games for kids and adults alike. Will absolutely aim to stay at Oyster Beach House on our next SJI trip.

It provided a nice setting for a restful time on San Juan Island and the close proximity to Roche Harbor and Duck Soup Restaurant made it convenient to enjoy at our leisure. The main space felt spacious with the high ceiling, the house was clean and tidy and the waterfront location made for great viewing of tide changes and sunsets. My only question would be why so many requirements before checkout ie. loading the dishwasher, starting a load of laundry, stripping the linen off the beds etc. when a cleaning fee is added to the nightly rate of the stay. They don't have these at hotels.

Ant infestation

Reviewer Comments: The location is great; this is the second time we have stayed at the property. The first time was amazing, so we were eager to stay there again. This time though, was a big disappointment. The house was infested with carpenter ants. There were ants in the kitchen, on the dining table, in the bathrooms, and in the bedrooms. Ants were crawling up our legs, and we had to watch our steps when walking around the house and, on occasion, stepped on a few.To make matters worse, the management company did nothing to help. We notified them of the issue as soon as we arrived, and their only advice was to put out ant baits (which didn't help). We were looking forward to a relaxing weekend on the island. What a big disappointment. We will not be returning.

It is very clean and well equipped, the rooms were spacious and comfortable and the dock/water access made for some peaceful mornings and relaxing evenings. Even though this is advertised as a two bedroom space, there was a third room with two twin beds (no closet) that was the perfect space for our fifth guest. The location was a 5 minute drive from Roche Harbor and close to a lot of other nearby spots.
