Stile retrò - rinnovato e rinnovato

Lille Cottage è immerso tra i boschi ai margini di Fish Creek ed Ephraim. È situato di fronte ai sentieri escursionistici del Peninsula State Park, piste ciclabili fuoristrada e piste da sci di fondo; 1/4 miglio al campo da golf State Park. Il Lille Cottage è stato recentemente ristrutturato e aggiornato (maggio 2017) per riflettere il tema "retrò" di questo "piccolo" cottage costruito negli anni '50. Assapora i suoni tranquilli dei boschi e il crepitio della legna che brucia sulla buca per il fuoco all'aperto all'aperto ~ arrosto s'mores ogni sera per concludere la giornata perfetta a Door County!
Che si tratti di fare escursioni, andare in bicicletta o sciare allo State Park, rilassarsi in spiaggia, andare in barca a Eagle Harbor Bay, giocare a golf o semplicemente ricordare il fuoco ... Lille Cottage ti dà il benvenuto!

Winterfest

The cozy, retro cottage is exactly as described. It was the perfect place to stay while we attended Winterfest in Fish Creek. We enjoyed the nostalgic decor and played some family fun games that were provided. Also, we were pleased with the comfy beds and cleanliness of the cottage.

Perfect Retreat for Christmas

My husband and I and our dog stayed at Lille Cottage over Christmas and it was just lovely. It was beautifully decorated, well-appointed, and perfectly cozy for our winter stay. The hosts even left us a mulled wine (glögg!) kit that was delicious and so thoughtful. The location is perfect, it was 5 minutes to Fish Creek and directly across the street from an entrance to the Peninsula State Park trails. We took several gorgeous snowy hikes, but would also be perfect for cross country skiing or mountain biking. I can’t wait to come back!!

Lille Cottage

We loved our stay at the cottage. Super clean, comfy beds, cute retro vibe and loved the fire pit out back. Perfect location and right by Peninsula State Park for hiking. Brad, the owner checked in with me to make sure everything was perfect and it was. Would definitely recommend staying here and we will again next time we are in the area.

Wonderful stay

We were so happy with our week at Brad and Amy’s cozy cottage. They are very kind and responsive and the cottage is just as advertised - comfortable, well appointed and just minutes from Peninsula State Park. They even left us supplies to make s’mores with the kids in the backyard fire pit. We would definitely come back!

Door County Retreat

Cutest retro Scandi cottage ever! Walked our bikes across the road and biked to Peninsula state park beach! Played their vintage board games and enjoyed s’mores around the fire in the backyard. Great location between Fish Creek and Sister Bay. Comfortable beds and pillows! We also loved the hospitality model - use ‘extras’ left by previous guests/hosts and then leave your own extras for future guests. Very clean and spacious - no ac but the shade and lake effect kept us cool (fans were great too). Owners were responsive- texted when we forgot a pillow & couldn’t find the garbage cans. Hope to return soon!

Lille Cottage Big on Amenities

The Lille Cottage has it all! Perfect location right across the street from Peninsula Park and close to Fish Creek, Ephraim and Sister Bay. The decor is wonderful and it had a lot of the things you forget to pack as far as utensils, coffee and the s’more fixings were a pleasant surprise! We would definitely return.

Clean, comfortable & cute!

The little cottage is a great place to stay! It's very clean, the retro theme is adorable, and all of the furniture is comfortable. It's very well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. The shower is wonderful! Brad is a very thoughtful and thorough host. He checked in and was available for help, but we had no questions or issues because everything was all set. Our dog loved her stay too.

Wonderful Cottage

Lille cottage is a wonderful place to vacation. Exceptionally clean and so well equipped. Brad and Amy have created such a fun atmosphere with the retro decor. Loved our visit and having our little pup be able to join us made it even more special.

We absolutely loved our stay at Lille Cottage!

The charm of this cottage captured our hearts from the moment we arrived. It was impeccably clean, comfortable, and cozy, with great attention to detail in every corner. The space was perfect for the two of us and our little dog—she loved it as much as we did. The surroundings were beautiful and serene, providing an ideal backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The owners, Brad and Amy, were extremely thoughtful and communicative without being overbearing. I mentioned to them that we were coming up from Chicago to celebrate our birthdays (a week apart), looking for a low key peaceful getaway and that my fiancé loves to grill. When we arrived, I texted them to let them know, and I received a wonderful welcome text in return: "We bought a new grill for the Grill Master :)". We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend Lille Cottage for anyone looking for a delightful and dog-friendly retreat in Door County!

Little Cottage

Super cute. Perfect size for a girls getaway. Small ants in kitchen and bathroom area - cabin is in wooded area, it was rainy, and chilly so that is to be expected. No air conditioning, but it was cool so we didn't have an issue with the house being warm. Owners responded quickly when we reached out with a question. Clean.

Great spot!

The location for us was excellent. All of our activities were an easy drive away. Directly across from Penninsula State Park for very easy dog exercise—and long walks. The home is very close to an intersection. The road noise is fairly constant when you are outdoors. Road noise is no problem indoors. The rooms are all independently heated, which is a nice feature. The beds and furniture are very comfortable. Adorably decorated!

The perfect cottage!

We absolutely loved our stay in the Lille Cottage! The attention to details in the decor was incredible, somehow perfectly blending a retro design with modern comfort. It was very clean with all necessary amenities and the location cannot be beat! It was cozy and comfortable, yet still felt spacious. Brad & Amy were excellent hosts. We would love to return and would recommend to anyone!

spring break getaway

Very cute home. We picked this place because it was dog friendly. Mo had his own yard and we were all very comfortable here. Door Co is kinda closed down until May but we got a little hiking in and some R&R. We enjoyed cooking in the little kitchen and they had everything we needed.

A lovely stay in Door Country

This was the perfect cottage for our stay in Fish Creek. The owners are thoughtful and communicative (without being overbearing), and the vintage decor was a dream. Everything was clearly labeled and easy to find. They even made sure to have dog blankets available, ingredients for s'mores, a little treat for the adults, and so much more.

Host: Brad Russell

The Russell family, of Iowa, recently purchased this second property in May 2017 and have begun extensive renovations. Brad and Amy Russell are native Wisconsinites, who have adopted 12 children; and thus want Lille Cottage to remain 'child-friendly' and enjoyed by families... (Your pets are welcome, too :). We will continue to rent the cottage, extending it to year-round rental. They have made several renovations to the home (new kitchen w/retro appliances, bathroom, Mst. bedroom). The name "Lille Cottage", which means "tiny cottage" to reflect the cozy cottage feel. We welcome you to 'Lille Cottage!!!

Note: The Russell's also have another vacation rental cottage (circa 1853), "Arbor Cottage Loft" (vrbo 307617), which is located in the center of the Village of Ephraim and has 100' of private waterfront w/white Adirondack chairs to relax and enjoy the views. It faces west for incredible sunset views over Eagle Harbor!

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

We enjoy renovating and bringing life back into older properties... So when this "quirky" cottage became available, we snagged it! We are currently renovating the kitchen, bathroom, and landscaping the backyard for more outdoor enjoyment (opening June 2017, hopefully :) ... Playing off it's 1950 construction, we are designing a "retro" theme of new, but vintage looking appliances (turquoise refrig from Big Chill), and retro wallpapers - complete with a "tacky", but so cute, flamingo bathroom! It's fresh, colorful, and fun!
We also renovated "Arbor Cottage" in Ephraim 5 years ago...and have so enjoyed meeting new friends/guests ... Looking forward to seeing you this summer at Lille Cottage!
