Il ponte anteriore si affaccia sulla Grand Traverse Bay e il ponte posteriore ha una griglia per barbecue e un bel tavolo con sedie. Buca per il fuoco appena fuori dal ponte posteriore con 9 sedie. House è direttamente di fronte a campi da tennis, campi da basket e un parco giochi (sulla spiaggia). Puoi sederti sul ponte anteriore e guardare i bambini giocare. 2 isolati dal centro di Elk Rapids. Passeggiata al cinema della città, cena e pub locale. Porta i tuoi kayak e paddle board e puoi lanciarli proprio in spiaggia! Traverse City è a 20 minuti in auto. C'è un casinò a 15 minuti e le dune di sabbia a pelo d'orso sono a soli 45 minuti! Mackinac Island è una fantastica gita di un giorno ed è solo 1. 5 ore di distanza. Posizione perfetta per qualsiasi fuga ~ Vacanze in famiglia o viaggi di ragazze / ragazzi! La casa è stata recentemente rinnovata, vernice fresca, nuovi pavimenti, materassi e lenzuola. Festival equestre dei Grandi Laghi è a soli 8. 9 miglia di distanza. Perfetta vacanza sugli sci in inverno! Mt. Le vacanze sono a 15 minuti, Shush / Shanty Creek a 30 minuti e Boyne a meno di un'ora!

Great holiday getaway

This is our fourth or fifth time staying here so our review is obviously biased. Great location in Elk Rapids. All the necessitites provided. Owner if fantastic to deal with.

Amazing young family getaway

The location was perfect for a family with kids. The beach playground right across the street provided hours of fun and beautiful views. Just a short walk to downtown with cute shops and restaurants. We saw salmon swimming in the river too! Inside the kids loved the bunk beds and TVs in every room! If you have little kids know that the room with the double bed against the wall has a barn-door slider style door instead of a regular one, which can be tricky for little kids (we just put our older kid in that room, so it worked for us). The only thing that threw us off was that we were expected to wash towels AND put them in the dryer before we left. This meant we had to plan an extra hour after our morning showers to head out waiting for the washer to be done so we could change it over to the dryer before leaving. (Other places we've stayed we typically are just asked to pop them in the washer and start it before we go, not have to wait to get it into the dryer). However, I would gladly stay again as this is my only complaint and it is a small inconvenience for staying in such a nice location.

A cozy, quaint cottage with a great location

Very enjoyable stay! Great communication and Mariah was a perfect host. Not on the water but a wonderful location across the road from East Traverse Bay and a superb city park. A short walk to downtown. The house has lots of beds and was comfortable, well equipped and inviting. Only 1 bathroom which might be a little challenging with a large group. We had 4 adults and 2 children and it worked out fine for us. Note that the property only has parking for 2 cars (maybe 3 if they're small and you're creative). Plenty of parking on Main St. adjacent the property but the City does not allow overnight parking. I brought a small boat and was able to park with the trailer at an adjacent under-construction house per Mariah's suggestion. Otherwise I was told there's a lot somewhere in the downtown area where you can park your boat trailer. It worked out fine but may want to inquire further if you have multiple vehicles or a boat-trailer. Overall had a great time!

Great home, perfect location

This property was very clean and close proximity for so many fun things to do. Great people watching from the porch too. The host is quick to respond to any question. Definitely would go back.

Quaint Elk Rapids home

Great place to stay. I can’t say enough about the host Miriah. She was so helpful and available to answer any questions. The house was clean and cozy and decorated adorable! I would definitely recommend staying here! I think the summer would be awesome as we stayed in the middle of a blizzard but still had a great experience! The view of the bay is right out the front window! Great location close to everything we love in Elk Rapids!

Dog friendly town

Wonderful location. Sidewalks everywhere in town for dog walking, even a paved path through the park across the street. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Nice place & great location

Really enjoyed the park and beach. Dog friendly area and pleasant neighborhood. Good restaurants for dinner nearby. One small bathroom might be a challenge if more than 2 people are staying here but it was fine for the 2 of us.Well stocked kitchen was much appreciated.

fun-filled getaway

We totally enjoyed our time at your beach cottage. It was clean, adorable, roomy and well stocked with everything we would need. Communication with the owner was very prompt and easy. On top of everything we were able to bring our dog which doesn't happen often. Elk Rapids is the sweetest small vacation town. Thank You

Amazing Location - Right on the Lake!

I cant say enough about this Gem! We drove from Chicago to Elk Rapids (only a 5 hour easy drive) and Miriah the host was/is amazing. She let us check-in early and check out late, the process was so easy ! She gave us so many great recommendations on food, drinks, activities and area favorites. First the location is AMAZING, the beach is right across the street and walking distance to downtown. Downtown Elk Rapids is great - great shops, restaurants and bars even a great donut/coffee shop! Only 25 mins to Traverse City and 20 mins to Torch Lake. The house itself is immaculate and can accommodate many guests (lots of rooms) + Dog Friendly too. The Living room was my favorite with the bay window that looks out at the water just so relaxing. Thank you for an amazing 4 day weekend. We will be back this summer!

Perfect Elk Rapids location

Clean with all the amenities and a one block walk to downtown Elk Rapids. Staring at the park and beach out the front window never grows old. Perfect getaway.

Great location!

Had a great time in Elk Rapids. Miriah gave us lots of tips on places to eat and things to do. Just a short drive to so many interesting places. Town is very dog friendly and our Sadie loved it. Neighbors are very nice and friendly. Can't wait to visit again!

October in Elk Rapids!

Perfect spot to enjoy the quaint town of Elk Rapids with views of east bay right outside the front window. Truly a hidden gem! Miriah was a great host - excellent communication and very quick to respond. The house was very clean and the main living area and kitchen provided a large space for my family to spend time together. Plenty of beds and sleeping space with one full bathroom. It's a quick walk into downtown Elk Rapids to enjoy the shops and restaurants. Many other great restaurants, breweries and wineries in the surrounding area. We will definitely be back!

Great place to unwind!

Perfect location in a quaint town and just what we needed to relax! It was like a home away from home with an amazing view and peaceful setting. Hostess was very helpful and quick to respond with recommendations. I hope to return next year!

A wonderful stay

We could not be happier with the location of the home. We enjoyed going across the street to get to the beach, playground, volleyball, pickleball and tennis courts. We were also able to launch our kayak nearby. Walking to the bakery and ice cream shop were highlights. The home had everything we needed; plenty of beds, all the kitchen necessities and games for kids. A second bathroom would have been nice but we managed just fine. Thank you so much for sharing your beach home, our kids are asking to come back next year.
