FAQ:

Q: Do we provide beach towels?
A: No, we do not supply beach towels, you must bring your own.

Q: Location?
A: Directly across the street from the beach. The path to the beach is just across the street and a short 2-3 minute walk to the water.

Q:Coffee Pot?
A: There is a Keurig as well as a regular drip coffee machine. You will need to bring your own pods, coffee and filters (sometimes there are filters in the cabinet but I can't guarantee it).

Q: Less than a week reservation:
A: We mostly take week long reservations but will consider less nights on a case-by-case basis depending on availability and time of year (ONE WEEK MINIMUM STAY REQUIRIED MEMORIAL DAY THRU LABOR DAY, NO EXCEPTIONS). We will respond to an inquiry promptly, most of the time, immediately.

Q: Any restaurants close by?
A: Yes, there are many restaurants within 1-2 miles

Q: Why is the price so different for my dates?
A: VRBO automatically sets our prices based on demand & seasonality. If you don’t search with exact dates VRBO shows the lowest price throughout the season.

Q: Can I check-in earlier than 4 or Checkout later than 10?
A: Most days there’s someone checking in the same day there’s a checkout. We try & go above and beyond if this is requested but can’t guarantee a time as we often address maintenance issues and housekeeping between guests.

Please message us the morning of your check-in & request an early check-in. We’ll do our best to get you in prior to 4pm. For late checkout please message us the day before your checkout.

We charge a fee for either early Check-in or late checkout

Q: Do you do long-term or monthly rentals?
A: We have done long term rentals in the past. From March 1 - October 30 the house is rented at a 90% occupancy rate so the monthly rate is only slightly reduced compared to the daily rate (around 20%). From November through February we’re much more flexible depending on length of stay.

Q: Smoking?
A: Outside only & please be responsible.

Q: Do you allow pets?
A: You bet! We ask that dogs not be puppies, don’t scratch at doors, and don’t bark incessantly while you’re away. We DEEP clean the houses after pets stay due to future guests’ possible allergies so a $250 pet fee is applied for those who travel with a pet and an additional $50 for a second pet. The pets need to be approved ahead of time, must be spayed/neutered and are considered on a case by case basis.

Q: Can we hold events or parties?
A: No. This is a place to relax. We ask that there be no events or parties or bachelor/bachelorette parties. We live next door and have a zero tolerance policy as does the town.

Q: Handicap accessible?
A: No. There is a full set of stairs to access the main level of the house.

Q: I have a non-profit, will you donate a free stay to my gala?
A: I’m sure your cause is worthy, but we get this request far too often so we must decline.

Q: I’m a blogger / photographer / ninja trainer… will you barter?
A: No. Please don’t ask. We don’t pay our mortgage with your blog posts.

Q: Will you partner with my local company or buy my advertising?
A: We get penalized through VRBO if we don’t respond to all inquiries which means we must respond to your spam. You won’t like our message so don’t send it.
