Bedroom 1 has one king and one queen bed, bedroom 2 has 1 queen and 1 full. Queen size blowup on request. 3 full rooms bathrooms , and an open walk-through bedroom / sitting room . Plenty of spacious closets , washer and dryer for our guests convenience . Fully functional kitchen with Plenty of cooking and dining utensils .3 large flatscreen TVs with fire stick including Sports & movie channels .This home also has a wraparound covered porch and an outdoor fire pit for campfires . This property is located walking distance from beautiful Grand Marais. There are plenty of activities and shopping for every type of visitor In Grand Marais. Hiking ,fishing ,boating ,shopping , Beautiful beaches ,pictured rocks , ATVs and snowmobiling are just a few things that can be had in Grand Marais. Fall color tours, waterfalls , pictured Rocks.
We do not allow pets or smoking on this property . Guests must move their trash to the onsite container upon leaving.

Good time in the UP

We had a great time in Grand Marais. Our house was big and comfortable! The beds are very comfortable for a good night sleep! The kitchen has everything you need and there are plenty of sitting spaces. I would say you would enjoy this house if you rent it! Nice to be so close to town.

Winter Wonderland

We had an amazing time last week at this beautiful cabin on the outskirts of Grand Marais! Perfect location and size for our group of 6, very spacious and accommodating! Many thanks to Dave!

Good spot for snowmobiling!

Nice clean rental. We could not park our large snowmobile trailer in the driveway. Luckily we found a storage facility down the road which was no big deal.

Ok stay overall

Overall, we had a good stay at this property, though with a couple of hiccups. Things I would want future guests to know: *bring chairs and small table if you want to use porch *bring extra tp *bring towels, listing says provided but small print says no *know that the owner does watch through cameras out front Not that it matters but id recommend taking down seasonal decor but overall the property was very clean. Lastly, We booked this property for a last minute trip with family, about 3 weeks beforehand. When we pulled into the property with my sister's family we had 3 cars. After unloading the vehicles and sitting down to relax I started receiving messages from the owner that felt very accusatory about us having so many cars and way more people than I told them about. It very much felt he was coming at me, apparently he is watching you in the driveway area. I never noticed anything that said over 6 people was addtl fee, and I can't understand what it is for. But we had to pay another fee for having 7. Then we're asked for it continuously until I processed the payment online. We were very quiet and not trying to scam anyone. Then the neighbor came and yelled at us for gettting the grass in front dusty driving the ATv down the road, while they drove early morning to late nights super loud and obnoxiously. I can see why it would be a great place for snowmobilers

Great snowmobiling location

The house was very nice and met every expectation we had. Plenty of room bedrooms are nice and bathrooms were great. Kitchen is well equipped and living room is very comfy. Plenty of parking for trailers. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Thanks Dave.

Great place!

Our family really enjoyed our stay in Grand Marais. The log home was very clean and nice with plenty of room. Our host was very prompt about questions before our arrival. The only missing thing I would change is to have a few chairs out on that beautiful wrap around porch to enjoy it.

What a town!

Beautiful home with all of the amenities! Short walk to the AMAZING town of Grand Marais! Perfect town for catching a sunset over Lake Superior, going to the beach, or venturing off to the countless places to see in The UP! Definitely would come back and stay here again!

The perfect Fall weekend getaway!
