Cozy and warm at Christmas

My family had a lovely stay at Bellflower Cottage on the working, peaceful Twyford Farm. Hosts were kind and we appreciated the welcome goodies and mince pies. Although the weather was cold, we were comfortably warm and appreciated the kindling and wood. Check in and out were a breeze.

Perfect for us

We had searched for a nice place for us, our visiting Kids and especially our dog. Also it had to be in the proximity of our daughters new school. So this location and house was a perfect match for us !!! Also very cosy.

Fairytale cottage

We traveled around Europe for three weeks ans this was mine, my husbands and my three kids favorite place we stayed. It was like living in a magical fairytale and waking up every day in the most beautiful place. My kids loved walking around the lake om the property and spending time with the cows and sheep. The kitchen was perfect for cooking meals and the large dining area was perfect for us. It was a great location to see castles, explore beaches and so much more. We will definitely stay again.

Cottage in the countryside

Lovely cottage on the edge of Ashdown Forest, with lots of walks nearby. Comfortable accommodation, although upstairs requires ducking under beams. The weather was beautiful for our stay and we were able to eat outside a lot and it was lovely to do so. Cottage could do with a little TLC, which would make a big difference

Bucolic retreat

Not the easiest cottage to find since it took 2 attempts! However, once located we were thrilled to find picture postcard perfect home away from home. Clean, comfortable, and well appointed with nice outdoor space. Very easy access to local countryside.

A cosy retreat

Bellflower Cottage was perfect for a NYE weekend getaway - very warm (we had to turn the heating down!), clean, well equipped (although we had to ask for loo roll and dishwasher tabs), beautifully decorated and so peaceful. The quintessential English country cottage! Gorgeous walks from the door and lovely outside space (which only the dog took advantage of as the weather was so wet!) We did struggle with the beams with 3 out of 6 of us banging our heads, but we knew from the description that they were there before we booked. So our bad! A lovely, lovely stay. Thank you!

Peaceful and picturesque escape to the English countryside.

The cottage itself is cozy, charming, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. From the well-equipped kitchen to the comfortable beds and stylish bathroom, everything was thoughtfully designed and impeccably maintained. The cottage also has a lovely private garden, perfect for enjoying a cup of tea or a glass of wine in the fresh air. But what really sets Bellflower Cottage apart is its location. The cottage is situated on Twyford Farm, surrounded by rolling hills, lush green fields, and picturesque countryside. It's a peaceful and tranquil spot, ideal for a relaxing getaway. And yet, despite its rural setting, the cottage is conveniently located just a short drive from the charming village of Horsted Keynes, with its historic church, traditional pub, and friendly locals. During my stay, I enjoyed exploring the local area, taking long walks in the countryside.Overall, I would highly recommend Bellflower Cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and picturesque escape to the English countryside. The cottage itself is a true gem, and the surrounding area is simply stunning. It's the perfect place to unwind, relax, and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Autumn stay in Sussex with family

The cottage was a lovely place to stay in with family. Great location for local walks. Kitchen was ample for us to cook as a group of six. Nice wood burner and comfy sitting space. Underfloor heating was lovely. Quiet except for owls! A very enjoyable stay. A minor couple of points: it would be helpful to have a book/folder including all the house information in addition to TV stuff. Also the initial description should include the fact that upstairs there are 2 cross beams in the corridor which are only about 5' high - meaning you have to bend every time you go through. So beware.
