This cabin is one of my favorites. Very clean and nicely decorated. The couch and primary bedroom's mattress were very comfortable. The porch was very nice, we laid on the patio furniture at night and looked up at the stars. You see so many more stars than you would normally see. Will stay here again. Thank you, Stephanie and Matt!!
Our family travels to the mountains every year for a getaway. Our past experiences have been good, but this stay was truly the best experience we've ever had. The kitchen was very well stocked, there were plenty of things for us all to do, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and of course the views are indescribable. Part of me doesn't even want to leave a review so I can gatekeep this gem of the mountains. The owners are very helpful and responsive. It's clear they love sharing this opportunity and work hard to make it a wonderful experience. Don't pass this place up (or do, so I can keep it all to myself!)
The cabin and property were absolutely beautiful and the hosts were amazing! We had a beautiful mountain wedding for our friends and the cabin was the perfect place for a small reception. The views from the deck were beautiful! Highly recommend this amazing place!!!
After Hurricane Helene, this house was a blessing. We had staff visit from Asheville where there was no running water or power. This gave our staff the ability to shower, do laundry, sit in AC and cook hot meals. The owners were very communicative and supportive. I hope to rent this place again under better circumstances.
The host was eager to provide info about the area and there was a binder with brochures on the counter with area attractions, hikes, restaurants etc. The cabin was very clean, spacious and well equipped for our stay.
The cabin far exceeded our expectations! The photos are beautiful, but it is even better in person! Everything was clean and the owners are responsive and accessible.
We went to do some hiking, the property was in a great location within an hour of all of the places we wanted to go ( Crabtree falls, Chimney Rock, Tom’s falls). Loved the Linville winery. The owners left plenty of toilet paper, trash bags, cleaning supplies, etc. The kitchen was well equipped. All of the bedrooms were very comfortable. Loved the game room and views from the porch!
I booked the rental looking for a quiet weekend getaway. This was the perfect choice. The cabin was amazing. It was everything as described in the listing. The host, Matt, responded quickly to a few questions that I had prior to my stay. I would love to go back to this cabin again in the near future.
If you think the pictures are awesome online, they do not do the property justice. The views from this cabin are AMAZING! If you have this house saved in your VRBO as a maybe house, FORGET ABOUT ALL THE OTHERS, this one won't disappoint.
And the host were on top of things when I asked questions about cuisine or trails in the area. And they nailed it! We thouroughly enjoyed out stay!
The cabin was exactly how it was explained and more. The space was open and flowed nicely. Kitchen was large and had all that was needed to make any meal. Matt was very responsive during anytime prior to and during the stay. Access to the cabin and surrounding stores was great. We had a vehicle issue and had rain for two days straight which grounded us for several days. We took advantage of this time to play games which Matt had a lot of in the armoire near the couch. The sectional couch was a great place to have time together for talking, playing games or watching a movie. The views off the balcony were exceptional. We also had some time at the fire pit and enjoyed s’mores multiple times. Will definitely stay here again.
Had a great weekend stay at the cabin. The cabin was fully stocked with everything needed - towels blankets, paper products, all kitchen supplies. The cabin was clean when we arrived. We did a small getaway with friends and our children and we all loved our stay. The kids asked when could we come back before we even left. Be aware that the driveway is on a hill. It was a little intimidating to me but may not be to others. If you are going in the fall ask the host for a clean off before arrival. After the leaves were cleaned off and I put my car in low gear I felt much more comfortable going up the driveway. The host was very responsive.
Once you have discovered this quiet and peaceful vacation spot, you will definitely want to come back. This is our fifth time here and each time it keeps getting better. The cabin is always very clean, comfortable, and well equipped and the views out the window are spectacular. This is the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with family. Matt has always been a perfect host and goes out of his way to make sure you feel welcome and have a memorable vacation. Thanks Matt!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Communication was very good, and check-in and -out were seamless. After a day of activity, it was such a blessing to come home to a quiet retreat with what we needed for meal preparation and rest. The cabin is nestled among the trees with glimpses of distant tree covered mountains. We arrived a week early for the changing of autumn colors but gained a preview of what would be in store for travelers coming after us. My personal favorite spot in the house was the upstairs nook, overlooking the large windows in the family room. It was a perfect location for a cup of coffee, blanket, and my quiet time devotional.
The cabin is spacious and offers a variety of kitchen gadgets and utensils for cooking and an outdoor grill, which we used daily. There is a basement space housing a lounge and game room area, which would be great for entertaining on a rainy or snowed-in day.
If staying in the area again, I would eagerly return.
We had such a lovely stay for the weekend in this cabin, it was ticket away perfectly. We enjoyed evenings by the fire and cookouts with our friends! The cabin was clean and felt very new, with updated appliances! We were obsessed with the comfort of the couch, you just totally sink into it, great for a movie night and naps! We liked the area a lot, it felt perfectly secluded. We didn’t hear anything or anyone around which is really nice. The view is really pretty, definitely sunrise/sunset picture worthy!
We spent a peaceful weekend in this nice cabin. The house is very clean and has everything we need. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The location is convenient to local stores and restaurants. We enjoy the mountain view and as the other reviewer said, it is even more beautiful than shown in the pictures. Hope we will stay here again in the near future.
If you are looking for a cabin on the mountain… this is a perfect place for your family! Everything was clean and we loved the attention to details. Beds were super comfy and cozy. The location was perfect for a trip to Asheville or Morganton. This will definitely be our place to stay again…
We had a great time. Perfectly located for all the waterfall hikes we did. Very clean and beautiful house, the deck was a great place to sit and relax. I would definitely stay here again
Beautiful and private. We enjoyed the cabin and the commication between us and the owner was very good! The cabin was what we needed to get away for the week! Loved everything !
We enjoyed the comforts of home at this property. Having the outdoor fire pit was delightful. Meals out on the spacious deck were made spectacular by the gorgeous Mountain View. Our host was responsive and helped us feel at home as well.
