August 2024

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Hilltop Hideaway. I loved the floor plan of the home. We were comfortable in every room and slept well, which doesn't happen much on vacation. Being within walking distance of the beach made our daily strolls enjoyable. The neighbors are friendly as well. The one scary thing for me was the driveway. It's very steep. I had to close my eyes while going up, parking, and then going down. My husband confidently maneuvered the incline and I was grateful he was driving. Other than that, our stay was really nice.

Beach trip

Cute little cottage stay for our weekend beach trip. Had enough space for the 5 of us. Only downfall was that it only has 1 bathroom. But otherwise it was well equipped with linens, dishes, and more. Ten minute walk to the beach. Manager was very responsive to questions and helped give suggestions for other activities to do with kids in the area.

Warm and welcoming

Its not the most expensive VRBO in Muskegon, but its clean, has all the modern amenities, and the warm feel of your grandparent's home. It was lovely. Thank you!

Hideaway bluffton

Clean cozy little cottage on beach road. Steep driveway and cramped turnaround. Only for one car. More have to park on street in limited space. Host very nice.

Cozy Cottage on a Hill

Charming little place in a private location right by the beach. Lots of lamps. Cozy screen porch for reading, well-stocked with dishes, towels, games, books, etc. We had a great week!

Cozy Hideaway by the Beach

The house sits within only a few minutes walk of both Lake Michigan and Lake Muskegon. It suited our needs to have the option to drive to local attractions like Michigan's Adventure amusement park, walk the sandy beach to play or watch the sunset, or snuggle in with a book when it was rainy. We also had the option to walk or drive to local restaurants or eat "at home" using the fully functional kitchen and dining room. If I had to complain about something, it would be the driveway is very steep. If you're hauling any kind of trailer, there is an area street-side to park it. We had a good time here.

Great family get-away place

We loved being able to walk to the beach at Lake Michigan. We were also a short drive to the park on Muskegon Lake. My children said that they liked the house since it was nice and cozy. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The doe and fawn in the front yard were a nice bonus.

Perfect getaway location

This cute home has all the amenities you are looking for. Close to the beach, deer walking in the front/back yards, and close to good food (Frosty Cove Ice Cream and Boatyard Smokehouse BBQ). Just a short drive to downtown, this quite neighborhood, although on the main street leading to the beach, was a great and perfect get away for my husband and I. I hope to book here again on our next trip to Muskegon

Nice place to Stay

The place was clean and had all we needed. I was close to the places we wanted to visit. We were out of the house most of the time but when we were there we had all we needed. I would recommend this place to anyone who want to visit lake Michigan and Michigan adventure park. Thanks

Great location and very comfortable

We very much enjoyed our stay. Plenty of linens and towels provided along with all of the kitchen items you would ever need. Lots of ceiling fans too accentuate the air conditioning or summer breeze. Feels quiet and secluded even though you are very close to the beach. Well worth the price.

Comfortable family vacation home

This was a great location, easily accommodated my large family, loved that there was a washer and dryer and fully stocked kitchen. All linens were provided which made packing easier and house was quite secluded even on a busy street.
