The villa is located just 1.5 km from the center of La Fortuna, it has a private pool, BBQ area, 4 rooms with air conditioning, WIFI (100 Megas - Fiber Optic), cable TV, equipped kitchen, three full bathrooms with hot water. Excellent option to enjoy the main attractions of La Fortuna de San Carlos. Please before booking, review the property rules.

The villa has a main area where you can find the living room, kitchen, two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Attached to the villa there are two separate bedrooms with a shared full bathroom, all in the same building; these two bedrooms are not directly connected to the main villa and so if your booking is for less or equal than 6 people those rooms will be locked.

We had an amazing stay! The property was spotless, exactly as described, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was responsive and made check-in seamless. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Excellent Vacation

The property was exactly as it looked in the pictures! It was very clean!! The host was awesome!! She arranged excursions with Seven Springs tours. The guide was Mario and he’s amazing!! He is very passionate about his job. Our host also scheduled us massages with a local spa. They came to the house and it was so relaxing!!!We highly recommend this house. Host was great!! Thank you so much!!!

Perfect place for a family

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property. Starting from check in to check out, everything was well communicated and the property was in an excellent condition when we reached. I would definitely come back to stay here if I visit La Fortuna again. The location with regards to attractions, restaurants and grocery gets 5+ stars!!!

Good location but poor communication in La Fortuna

The best aspect of this stay is the location - just a few minutes from the center of La Fortuna and close to the main waterfall. However, despite getting a lot of information about the property through a pdf file, info about massages and spa treatments as well as ordering Costa Rican food made to order, we did not receive the check in information before we arrived. This omission meant tremendous difficulty in getting into the property. The design of the property separates the bedrooms with bunk beds from the other two bedrooms. While the kitchen is well equipped, the construction is a bit shoddy. Still, a well located house

Perfect location - La Fortuna

Right down the driveway - view of Arenal Volcano. Close to the town with the restaurants & shops. Close driving distance to all the key sights. Easy to get to. Beautiful gated house with cute pool, lawn with ball & net, hammock. House was like 2 attached houses. Perfect for teens & child in one and adults in the other. Laundry, kitchen. Nice 3-night stay. La Fortuna is great!

great place to stay

Our visit was entirely pleasant. Our kids loved the small pool. ages 6 to 13. communication was good. beds were good. dinner at Giselle's house was perfect. So convenient.

Great location

We had a great time in La Fortuna. Property owner/managers very helpful and responsive. This property is in a great location and within walking distance to downtown. Pool is very shallow and small (would make a great hot tub if it was heated ). Lots of construction going on around the property right now so there will be noise. But all in all we had a wonderful time.

Your kids will love it

We, a family of 2 adults and 5 kids from 8 months to 12 years, spend a wonderful week in La Fortuna. The House was clean and perfectly equipped. The kids loved the pool and the roofed terrace. Both is very private and quite. The city center and the next bigger shops are within 10 minutes walking distance. We also had a very delicious breakfast provided by the next door neighbor. We would highly recommend to spend your time in La Fortuna at this house. Its the perfect base for all the exciting things to do around La Fortuna. We also saw a lot of Toucans.

Comfortable, economical, budget-friendly

We were 3 couples, all seniors, and this was our 1st Costa Rica place. (1st 4 days of a 3-week visit.) Very convenient to hot springs and Arenal attractions. Pool was probably good for kids but was too cool and small for us. For seniors, all the homemade HARD seating places were pretty - but not that comfortable. I think, in general, they sacrificed comfort for "prettiness" .Nice views. Quiet. Good beds and very clean. We would recommend for anyone wanting basic accomodations on a budget.

Great Budget Unit, Excellent Communication

This place worked well for our group. Spacious, with 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Outdoor space was very nice and well-furnished, although the pool is smaller than it looks online. Indoor space is cute & well laid out. There is a nice kitchen, although no dishwasher and no dish towels (?), and there is an obvious problem with ants. If you leave anything out on the counter ants will be all over it. There were also ants in the outdoor bathroom. There is very little insulation between rooms, so sounds travels between bedrooms/bathrooms quite easily, which is not ideal for those desiring privacy or light sleepers. Hot water, Wi-Fi, and A/C worked well. There were minimal bath / hand towels and no extra linens for beds. Also it was odd that there were missing or mis-matched lamps in the bedrooms. One of the couches was very stained and dirty. The laundry machine worked well. The host is amazing, very responsive to communications and helpful. Overall a good place for budget-minded families.
