A Home in Paradisde
We have gone to Casa Encantadora five years in a row now. One year we went twice. It is beautifully situated on a hill overlooking the bay and the Pacific Ocean. The hills on the other side of the bay are lit up like a Christmas tree in the evenings, and it never fails that one can experience a brilliant sunset. The entire home is first class, the beds are comfortable, and there is lovely attention paid to all the decor.
Herminia is the cook extraordinaire. Each morning you will awaken to a hearty breakfast accompanied with fresh squeezed orange juice and fresh fruit. You then can give her your request for the afternoon meal, and you will not be disappointed. Last time she made the best chicken enchiladas and abldondigas. Ruffie, the housekeeper, keeps the bedrooms in tip top shape, and she makes the bed to perfection. Both ladies always warmly greet us and attend to our every need. Beto makes sure the pool is kept sparkling and that everything inside and out is maintained well. Gustavo is a gem. He manages the home and drives taxi and will take you anywhere you wish to go. His son can provide a second taxi. Both are reasonably priced. Gustavo arranges for any tours you wish to take, massages you wish to have, reservations you would like for a special night out. He is attentive to every detail, and a fine person.
We felt completely safe at all times at the home and in the city of Zihuatanejo. We have taken our family to several luxury locations, and this has been the favorite of all of us. Also, the owners, Teresa and Rudy, are prompt with any answers. We have enjoyed visiting with them by telephone. They have been great hosts.
