In a completely renovated 18th century building, superb new 2-room apartment of 40 m2 air-conditioned (up to current standards), located on the 2nd floor with quality fittings and decoration.
Large double-glazed windows immerse you in the area
pedestrian and immediately enjoy the atmosphere and charm of the old town of Nice, with its colorful facades and typical shops.

Absolutely amazing!

From start to finish, our experience went over and above expectations. Bernard greeted us at the property and showed us around. The pictures don’t do this superb apartment justice. It was clean, well stocked and in an amazing location. I have no negative comments to add. We absolutely loved it!

Perfect

Marie met us at the apartment, she was lovely, very helpful and friendly. The apartment was immaculate, Marie showed us where everything was and how it worked; she had left some fruit and wine too. We really enjoyed our few days there, perfect.

Nice Old Town

Well stocked Apartment

Great apartment in the heart of Nice old town. Bernard and Marie were very responsive and made us very welcome. The apartment had everything we needed even down to small details such as nespresso capsules and a fresh fruit bowl. A well thought out inventory. Only small issue was loud people in the street in the early hours.

Ideal location - a comfortable base for exploring Nice

The apartment is on the 2nd floor above the narrow streets of Nice. It is accessed via a private entrance shared by all apartments in the building. (There is no lift.) There is a restaurant below but the noise is abated by there being double glazed windows. The tram was a short walk away. The apartment has a compact kitchen but has all you could need if you wanted to cook, though there are so many restaurants around that we only ever had breakfast there ourselves. There’s a well presented shower room and even a washing machine. We played ‘hunt the ironing board’, we had to give in but Marie told us it was under the bed! Marie and Bernard were very friendly ang helpful. They replied to messages almost immediately. We would highly recommend this and would go back tomorrow if we could.

Very wonderful apartment

The property looks exactly the same as what it is shown in the website. The central location is the biggest merit of it. It is near to the beach, restaurants, the open air market, bakeries, and supermarkets. Only three minor points I would like to mention. The first is the noise of the air-conditioner but we got used to it after one night. We slept very well afterwards. The second point is the slight leaking of the shower tray but the impact was not very significant. The third point is related to the kitchen. We are very happy with it and we cooked our dinners in three evenings with ease. We just wonder why there is a microwave oven that steals the space. It is placed just next to a cooking stove (the heat) and a sink (water splash to it). It appears a bit dangerous to us. All in all, we are very happy with the stay and highly recommended. We certainly will stay here again when we come to Nice next time.

Lovely flat

The flat is a good size for a couple. All the essentials and some extras were there. Very clean and tidy. Located in the old town but noise at night wasn't an issue. There are nice restaurants nearby. Very convenient location overall. Bus 12 takes you straight to the Airport Termainal 1 (15-20 minutes, every 10 minutes, 1.50 euros per person) from where you can catch a tram to Terminal 2 (for free). The hosts are very helpful and friendly. Thank you again! We'd like to come back.

Old town Nice

Clean , well equipped apartment. Bernard and Marie were very helpful and communication was excellent. We were met on arrival and shown round apartment with clear explanation of all machines. It was lovely to have wine and fruit as a welcome. One minor drawback is Street light outside bedroom and no blackout blind, but overcome by eye masks!! Due to onset of deteriorating Covid 19 situation in France we decided to leave early, sacrificing 9 days of our rental. This proved a wise decision as 24 hours after our departure the French government closed all bars and restaurants. After attempting to recoup some of our rental costs Bernard offered us a voucher for next year to cover our lost days, but we were unable to accept this offer, so we were a little disappointed that we couldn't negotiate recouping just some of our rental, in such extreme circumstances. However, we enjoyed our stay.

Stylish apartment in the old town of Nice.

The apartment was fantastic. Fully equipped with everything you could need and beautifully appointed. The location is wonderful. Bernard and Marie were the perfect hosts. Their kindness in leaving wine and fruit for us on arrival, including meeting us off the bus from the airport, was wonderful and very thoughtful. They were both so helpful particularly in guiding us to the new tram way to catch the tram back to the airport. Would definitely stay here again. Superb.

Excellent apartment in the heart of Old Nice

Great apartment! Very clean and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Our hosts were charming and had thought of everything. The location was very good as you just step out of the front door into the heart of the lovely old city and only a short walk from the beach. We would definitely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

Wonderful apartment

The apartment is perfectly situated in the heart of the Old Town and it is an easy stroll to the beach and flower market. Very close to bus and tram links for trips further afield. The apartment is comfortable and stylish with every convenience. Bernard and Marie were kind hosts who have thought of everything to ensure you have the perfect stay. We cannot wait to return!

Perfect location

The apartment was in an excellent location, minutes from buses and trams and walking distance to the beach. Modern, clean with everything you need, Bernard kindly provided fresh fruit, milk and bottled water on our arrival. There are many restaurants close by, the one below the apartment does get a little lively at the weekends. The only small criticism, is the blinds in the bedroom could be darker as there is a street lamp directly outside. We had a great stay and would thoroughly recommend it.

Delightful!

We were delighted with our stay! In a fantastic location, the apartment is beautifully decorated and absolutely spotless. Bernard and Marie have obviously given much thought to their guests requirements and nothing has been left out. They even provided a variety of teas and coffee, milk , water and wine. Great Location

Right in the middle of the Old Town. Easy access to trams, trains & bus. Surrounded by great shops and so many restaurants, it's impossible to choose every evening. The apartment is just as described. Has everything you could need and our host Marie, was there to meet us and show us around on arrival. She had lots of helpful, local information, & we had a fabulous 5 days in and around Nice. Would not hesitate to recommend this property.

A comfortable apartment in a great location

This was a perfect base from which to explore Nice and the Cote d'Azur. The Old Town is full of restaurants and excellent food shops while the market is just round the corner. Trams and buses are just a few minutes away - so it was an ideal base. The flat itself is comfortable and very well equipped. We were there during cold weather but the heating was extremely effective. Our charming hosts handled our check-in and check-out with great efficiency - and the fresh fruit, wine and milk they left for us was a lovely touch.

Beautiful little flat in the heart of the old town!

Wonderful apartment in heart of Old Town

A fantastic apartment in the heart of the Old Town yet only 5 minutes from the sea, Place Massena, Cours Saleya, Airport bus stops and tram routes to train station. The apartment, with aircon, is beautifully furnished and equipped with everything required for a easy holiday including a stocked kitchen, beach towels and umbrella. Not to mention the lovely bottle of Rose wine and fresh fruit that had been left for us. Marie, Bernard and their delightful daughter gave us a tour of the immediate area which was a really useful orientation. I can't recommend this lovely apartment highly enough.

Apartment stay in Nice Old town

Very convenient for transport and all places of interest in Nice including The Promenade des Anglais,, flower market,restaurants and shopping. The apartment is well equipped,however access is via a few flights of stairs which could be a problem for anyone with mobility problems.We just about managed,but enjoyed our stay

Another great stay in Nice Old Town

We stayed in this apartment last year for a few days and enjoyed it so much we decided to spend a full week here this year. It was just as we remembered - comfortable, charmingly decorated, very well-equipped, with a friendly welcome from the owners. The apartment has everything needed for self-catering and plenty of room for two. Although there are some stairs to climb, we didn't find it too much and we're both over 70. The location is ideal for exploring Nice and the surrounding area - 25 minutes walk from the station and the Vauban bus station or a few minutes by tram from the nearby stop. The sea front is accessibly in with a brief walk and the market is only a minute or two away. For those who like eating out you are spoiled for choice in just a couple of minutes' walk. This is definitely on our list of places to come back to! Thank you Marie and Bernard for another great stay. Geoff and Val

Sejour parfait

We did have problems in getting to the apartment, absolutely none of Bernard's doing, 90 minutes late down to Easyjet and then the 98 bus was oddly on strike, more likely diverted to take the football fans to Euro finals match. Once we caught up with Bernard everything was great. So many facilities, such tasteful furnishings who couldn't ask for more. First impression on the location- very busy pedestrian walkway with range of restaurants, bars and other small shops, cheese deli had only just opened. However noise was no problem overnight, good nights sleep every night and you are so central that Cours Saleya, Promenade des Anglais with its beach, the museums and mainstream shops such as Galeries Lafayette are all within easy reach on foot. We would not hesitate in recommending a stay here, Bernard and Marie are very welcoming and happy to help in any way.

Old town charm, modern comfort

An outstanding apartment in the heart of the old town. The owners, Bernard and Marie could not have been more helpful, welcoming us and being flexible with arrival and departure times. The apartment is ideal for two people superbly decorated, equipped and maintained with fridge, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. It was clean and bright and there was even a welcoming bottle of wine and some fruit. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed with all the wardrobe space needed. The lounge area was comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was ideal for old town, shops, promenade and walking to the top of the hill overlooking Nice. The stairs up to the property may be a drawback for those for whom stairs are a problem, but a bonus for those trying to keep fit! It is the sort of place you want to keep quiet about so that it will be available next time! Thank you Bernard and Marie - we look forward to returning.
