About this property

Casa Guilhermina is a spacious and modern well equipped first floor one bedroom apartment is located on the popular Colina Verde complex in Carvoeiro, just a short walk into town but situated in a quiet location - perfect for a relaxing holiday.
The apartment is located on the first floor with steps up to the front door, on entrance to the apartment you will find a spacious hallway leading to a very well-equipped Kitchen, Spacious and comfortable lounge, double bedroom with a King Size bed and a modern bathroom with bath and over bath shower.
Casa Guilhermina has a lovely terrace at the front which is south facing and from the front entrance you can take the external steps up to the roof terrace where you can take in the beautiful sea view and relax on the comfortable lounge furniture or really make the most of the sun on the two loungers. There is also a charcoal BBQ on this level - perfect for alfresco dining.
We have a cot, high chair and children´s cutlery so we can accommodate a baby,.
The stand out features of Casa Guilhermina are definitely the view from the roof terrace and the location for town but it also offers very spacious accommodation and great outdoor space for a one bedroom property.
We will accept winter lets on this property also, it has electric wall air con / heater units - electric and gas is charged separately for all rentals between November and March.

Amazing Stay

We spent 5 weeks here. The location is fantastic, the apartment is very comfortable and the rooftop terrace is a stunning place to spend some time. Emma was an exceptional host - she went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of.

Great location and terraces

With a front balcony, a rear balcony and a rooftop terrace there's always a place in the sun or the shade to find. Great location with just 5-10 minutes walk to downtown or the beach. A shame we had to go back home after just one week.

Great Location

The location of this place is fantastic. It is very easy to reach anywhere in the Algarve from here. It is also a very short walk to all of the shops and restaurants in Carvoeiro. The views from the decks are inspiring.

Terrific Property, Great Holiday!

We have been wedded to the Monte do Carvoiero area for a number of years now and weren't sure how we'd take to this are and this property. We needn't have worried. The property is excellently located and has every mod con we needed. The property manager couldn't have been more helpful. We're planning our next stay already!

Very nice apartment

Lovely clean well stocked apartment one of the very best we have stayed in. A proper home from home with some fresh bread butter and ham in the fridge. Tea bags and milk and lots of other bits so you don’t have to rush out immediately for stores. Emma the host was very helpful and she met us at the property. I would say although not essential having a car is a good idea as its pretty hilly area.

Wonderful apartment

I can not fault this apartment great location overlooking the town 2 great balconies for morning and evening sun, roof top terrace for sun all day. The apartment is beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped. We had a really great holiday.

Perfect location to stay on Carvoeiro

This appartment was perfect for our stay at Carvoeiro. It was very well decorated and the support of Emma was very good. We have stayed already several times in Carvoeiro, but this was absolutelly the best appartment we had! Especially because of the balconny's on both sides of the appartment and the roof terrace.

A beautiful apartment in a great location. The apartment was spotlessly clean. Emma was very quick in answering any queries we had. It was also a lovely gesture when she left us some food and drink provisions, especially as we had a late flight. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay

It was really good to arrive at the apartment and find everything exactly as described online. It was lovely and clean, very spacious and had everything you could possibly want for a lovely holiday. the roof terrace is jewel in the crown with fantastic views down through the town to the sea. The essentials that were there when we arrived, ie milk, butter, water, bread rolls, were very much appreciated. The air con was brilliant, Overall we had a wonderful 10 days. Just one request, Could you flatten the hill out before we book again although we did need the exercise after all the relaxation and eating.

Fantastic stay

We absolutely loved our stay and the apartment. The apartment is really well situated to easily walk into the main town and to the beach with the walk being less than 10 minutes down the hill. The kitchen was v well stocked and the apartment as a whole was spacious. The photos were completely true to life. The property manager Emma was v helpful and even sent us some locL restaurant recommendations. I would highly recommend staying here

Lovely apartment in the heart of Carvoeiro

We had an amazing one week stay here, everything was as described. The check-in process was simple, the apartment was very well presented, clean and spacious. The views from the roof terrace and balcony were great especially during the sunset. The town and beach are easily accessible on foot although it is uphill coming back - this wasn't a problem for us though. It was a really nice touch to have some food/drink in the kitchen on arrival, there was also kitchen staples in the cupboard (oil, salt, pepper etc). We can't wait to stay here again in the future.

Absolutely beautiful

This appartement is absolutely beautiful. Everything from location (if you don’t mind walking uphills) the view (one of the best ) the proximity to everything. The feel of the appartement was cozy and elegant. The little extra provided to make our arrival easier we’re very thoughtful. We loved absolutely everything about it. Thank you for letting us enjoy it.

Simply stunning

We had the most amazing stay. The apartment is beautiful, spotless, modern, comfortable and in a fantastic location. We were so spoilt and would return in a heart beat. The apartment has everything and I mean they owners have thought of it all. The fridge had food in already so we could make something to eat. There was wine and beers as well as snacks teas and coffee. The cleaning cupboard was full with things to use. The towels were fluffy and white and the bedding crisp and clean. Emma who showed us around was lovely and she was always just a text away if we needed anything. The apartment has 3 balconies and a roof terrace, which is just for you. The roof terrace is huge with quality furniture and there is even a huge BBQ and egg chair. I would 100% recommend for people staying in the area. The location was a short walk away from the center and very quiet at night.

Amazing property !

We have stayed in Carvoerio many times and also stayed in a range of accommodation including other villas and hotels in the area. This property is a real home from home, all of the possible necessities were available at the property, the property was clean and comfortable, the balconies and the views were stunning and the rooftop terrace was amazing. We are so pleased with our stay and the value for money of the property and will definitely stay again. We have stayed at a property which Emma has managed before and she is so great to deal with and very knowledgeable about the area. We had an amazing stay and would recommend here to everyone ! Excellent value & location.

Highly recommend. This condo is cozy and extremely well equipped. Beautiful views from the many terraces. I loved the ocean view in the front and the countryside in the back. Emma was a pleasure to deal with, providing excellent instructions on check in and left us a few basic groceries on our arrival. Greatly appreciated after a long day of travel. She even checked in on us to see if we needed anything. Carvoeiro is small but has all the necessary shops. We enjoyed being out of the more touristy places. Of the two places we stayed in Portugal, this was our favourite. Excellent value and truly a lovely place to stay.

Home away from home

What an enjoyable stay. We have been warmly welcomed by Lisa, a colleague of Emma, who led us through the whole apartment and described all in detail. This place is well equipped with almost everything one can wish for (we are no fans of capsule coffee and would prefer a french press or real coffee machine) and furniture, appliances and kitchenware are in modern and in very good condition. You can truly rely on the pictures! We will come back soon! Only suggestion: A mattress topper would make the bed much more comfortable and hygienic because it can be cleaned.

Great apartment

A lovely, spacious and well-equipped apartment. Just as described in the listing. Weather wasn't great and it was nice to have such a pleasant place to come back to. Like others, impressed that things like condiments, oil, teabags etc. were in the cupboards, along with cleaning stuff. These were in addition to the generous welcome pack - mainly stuff left by other guests I imagine, but we've found it's often thrown out. When you're only really snacking in the place it's nice to have around. I should mention Emma, who manages the apartment. Very friendly and helpful and although our only problem was a broken corkscrew (and my failure to spot the two spares hanging up in the kitchen!), I'm confident Emma would have been on the spot if required. A great stay and I would recommend it. We're in our sixties and found the location quite doable. Certainly it's on top of a hill but we managed it fine. Nothing to stop anyone taking a breather halfway up, or getting a taxi for that matter.

Colina Verde August 2023

Lovely, bright and spacious apartment which is very nicely furnished, very well equipped and has a homely feel to it. Nice quality bed linen and a very comfortable bed. Excellent storage/wardrobe space and was delighted that there was a generous number of hangers! The outdoor space is also good - breakfast on the small balcony off the kitchen as sun came up, drinks on the large balcony as the sun was setting or up on the beautiful roof terrace which again was very well equipped and with great views over Carvoeiro. It was particularly hot during our first week and the good a/c system was a God send. A lovely wee extra was leaving a few essentials in the fridge for us to have lunch on arrival and a wee glass of wine to wash it down! The whole process including airport transfers was seamless and Emma was most welcoming, efficient and helpful. Excellent.

Wonderful apartment, amazing view!

Very big and beautiful apartment. The view from the rooftop terrace is stunning! Everything you need is available here. Literally! Even beach towels :-) The owners spend a lot of time to put a guideline book together (wich is very helpfull when you want to know how some of the kitchen machinery works) and spend also a lot of time in decorating. We were met by Emma, who showed us around and were we could go to if we've had any questions. But I do have 2 points of improvement: please hang the toiletpapier holder nearby the toilet (for example on the wall next of the bidet). And provide an extra set of towels instead of 1. Other than that it was a wonderful holiday! Thank you so much. We will definitely come back again!

Apartment, Lage, Sauberkeit und Emma als Host einfach 1 A, das Apartment übertraf unsere Erwartungen, von den Marken Elektrogeräten bis hin zur geschmackvollen Einrichtung fehlte es uns an nichts, der Ausblick vom Haus war toll, zwei Balkone perfekt je nach Sonnenlage, der Fußweg ins Zentrum nur 5 Minuten- und das Tolle ist, die Lage vom Apartment ist total ruhig

Schöne Wohnung mit grandioser Dachterrasse

Die Wohnung ist perfekt gelegen, kurze Wege zum Strand, Einkaufs- und Restaurantangebote. Parkplatz direkt vor der Haustür, die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet und hat alles was man braucht. Das Highlight, die Dachterrasse ist einfach wunderbar. Emma hat uns herzlich empfangen und war bei Bedarf sofort erreichbar. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen und würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen!
