Absolutely perfect. Peaceful, wonderful to be away from the madding crowds. The villa was beautiful, well equipped, clean. The restaurant, 2 minutes down the road is amazing, we had a restful holiday.

Lovely villa in nice area but hot

We had a really lovely stay in a well appointed villa with a really nice pool. The layout inside is great and the outside space is well set out. Our only issue was it was 35 degrees outside and so the villa got very warm and difficult to sleep in. The bedrooms would have benefitted from some air con Our

Beautiful and peaceful location

Casa Jacinta is nestled in a quiet rural area. Our kids swam in the pool every day and the house was well equipped with everything we needed including a coffee machine. The cleaner also serviced the house during our 10 day stay. Our host was kind and quick to respond to any queries - she was available to help . Faro has many options for exploring the beautiful many beaches and conservation areas. We would definitely come back .

Overall we had a good stay despite the weather being mixed for the whole week. There was good communication with Jacinta around the booking, the villa was easy to find ( car essential) and had all the facilities that we needed for the week. A shame that we never got to use the pool but made up for it with trips out and some excellent food in Loule, Sao Bras and on the coast. Would also recommend Raizes at the bottom of the road!

Beautiful villa in peaceful location

The villa is really easy to find, first driveway on the right up hill past the excellent restaurant Raizes. Parking is easy and access is via a key box. The villa is very clean and the kitchen and bathrooms are very modern. The living areas of the house are cosy and characterful with lots of fireplaces and nooks. The weather during our week in early October was around 30 degrees each day with warm evenings so we spent all our time outside in the large pool or on the lovely spacious terrace with views to the sea. The beds are very comfy, one twin/super king master with en-suite and opens onto the terrace. Another twin/super king with doors to the other end of the terrace has use of a huge bathroom with twin basins, big walk in shower and screened off toilet. It is a quick walk past the lounge from the bedroom to bathroom. The third king size bedroom is up a very short set of steps and it has an en-suite and looks onto the entrance of the property. In the kitchen there is a kettle, toaster, coffee maker and juicer. A large dishwasher and big fridge freezer. The oven and microwave look like new and there are things like oil, vinegar, seasoning if needed. There is ample crockery, glasses, pots and pans. Outside is a sweet laundry room with a new washing machine, plenty of clothes pegs and two huge washing lines in a very sunny corner. You can have the laundry washed and dried in as little as an hour! Although two of the three restaurants just at the end of the road are now permanently closed, Raizes is really great. In Sainte Bárbara de Nexe there are more choices, we really loved Piazza with a lovely hidden courtyard garden filled with flowers and fairy lights and better Italian food than I’ve ever had in Italy. There is a huge supermarket an easy 10 minute drive away in Loule or a smaller one for essentials in SB de N. We enjoyed trips to Faro and recommend the Eco Tuktuk tours and the boat trips. We also enjoyed Fuseta and The Tavira area, Cabanas and Cacela Velho. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking for comfort and peace.

Great stay in a quiet location

Easy communications with Jacinta prior to our stay. Property is very well equipped with what looks like a new kitchen and (3) new bathrooms. Of course you need a car but everything is pretty close by. We thought it was excellent

A Lovely Villa in a peaceful location

I can highly recommend this charming villa, situated in a quiet hamlet in a rural setting. I suggest that a hire car is essential, we rented from the airport and the journey took about 30 minutes. Major supermarkets are about a 10 minute drive, there is a very nice restaurant just a short walk from the villa. It’s well equipped with everything needed for a self catering holiday, spotlessly clean and very comfortable coupled with a nice pool. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Beautiful Villa with gorgeous views

The views from the property were unbelievable and we couldn't have booked a better property for our holiday. Just Perfect - Beautiful, spacious, clean & well equipped, private villa.

We have just spent 10 days at Casa Jacinta. Jacinta met us on arrival at the villa & explained all we needed to know. She was very helpful but left us alone to enjoy our stay and we knew that if we had any problems, Jacinta was there on the other end of the phone to help. The four of us (two couples) were very impressed by the cleanliness of the villa. It was spotless & also it was very well equipped with plenty of kitchen utensils, plates, cups, dishwasher, washing machine etc. There was nothing at all more that you could want when on holiday. Unfortunately, we chose the only 10 days in the last 12 months when it rained & was cold in the Algarve !! ... BUT.... no problem, there was a log fire to keep us warm at night when we were in. Hopefully, not many visitors will unlucky enough to need to use the fire, but for us, it was definitely a bonus. Another bonus was the 'bar' inside the house. A brilliant use of space. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time & not a day went by when one of us said how lovely the villa & grounds were. The photos don't do it justice. We have no hesitation in recommending this villa for a peaceful & private stay in the Algarve. Thank you Jacinta for helping to make our holiday an enjoyable experience. we hope to visit again in the future.

Perfect little slice of Algarve tranquillity.

We really loved staying in Casa Jacinto. The house was very spacious, charming and perfect for our needs. Also, it is very private and not overlooked by other houses. The children loved the pool and spent all the time they could making use of it. The location is perfect if you are looking for peace and quiet. The 3 restaurants at the bottom of the hill (3 mins walk) were all fantastic with very friendly staff, we had a particularly amazing Sunday brunch at Raizes - 9 amazing courses. It is a short drive to Loule and only slightly longer drive to Faro itself. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and can highly recommend it. Thank you.

Wonderful old style home.

Jacinta has a lovely home. It is very rural so a car is a must. There is plenty of space and the house is well equiped. The pool and patio areas are big spaces, the photos dont do this house enough justice. We had a lovely time and loved this house. The main shopping town is Loule. There is a lovely little resturant at the end of the road 5 min walk called Matise well worth going. Thanks Jacinta.

Beautiful area and beautiful villa

Jacinta was a very friendly host. She answered almost immediately and helped us with all our needs. The house was very clean and in good shape. Grill area and pool were well maintained. The view from the property is just beautiful. We‘d love to come again one day!
