We introduce you our quiet and cosy attic in the most multicultural and bohemian neighbourhood of Madrid, Lavapiés.
The flat is on the fourth floor WITHOUT lift, like most of the buildings in the centre. It has lots of light and is incredibly quiet, perfect for a good night's rest. The kitchen is located in the corridor that leads to the bathroom and the bedroom and is the area of the house with the lowest ceilings (maximum height 160cm). However, in the stove and sink area you can stand up perfectly well. It is perfect for a couple, but the sofa can be used as a guest bed (converting into a 140cm bed).
The flat has a living room with a table for 4 people, 26-inch TV, sofa bed and work area with desk and ergonomic chair, a bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and views of the skies over Madrid thanks to a huge velux window and a bathroom with a shower. The space is very well used and you will not lack anything and despite the relative discomfort of the low ceilings in the corridor, the exposed beams and the communal terrace make it a flat with a special charm.
From the communal terrace you can observe the lively life of the neighbourhood :)
The flat has WiFi (fibre optic) and air conditioning in the living room.
Lavapiés is a neighbourhood with a multitude of bars and restaurants and very well connected with metro lines 3 (Lavapiés) and 1 (Antón Martín and Tirso de Molina). The Atocha train station is a 15 minute walk away.
The apartment is located in a residential building where working people and families with children live. During the stay, the rules of coexistence must be respected, including the prohibition of having parties and causing disturbances at night.
As specified in the listing, electricity is billed separately, since it depends to a large extent on the use made by the tenant. Therefore, upon arrival and departure, meter readings will be taken, and the tenant will have to pay the costs of supplies, including fixed costs. Access to the rooftop terrace is allowed although it can't be used to place furniture or any other kind of permanent use. Note that the rooftop is shared with the rest of the neighbours in the building.
The loss of keys implies a charge of 50 euro.
