Enjoy the peace and tranquility of nature year round in our cute cabin that sleeps 5 with twin daybed trundle in living area and king bed with twin futon fold out chair in sleeping cabin.
Our land is your playground... Fire pit, paddleboat, foosball and corn hole on-site as well as plenty of green spaces and mini woods for a mini hike.
Outdoor spaces for lounging and tables for dining at cabin and on pond.
Stocked pond for 24/7 fishing!!! Catfish, Bass and Blue Gill. You do not need fishing license for our private pond, but would for lake fishing outings.
Ample room for bringing your boat with nearest launch pad located 5 miles from property at Peter Cave Marina.
Dogs allowed.
Smoking is allowed outside on covered deck, but not in cabin.
Wireless internet, DISH TV and DVD player.

Nice cabin fishing was rough.

The cabin was nice and is a lot bigger in the inside than it looks on the outside. The composite toilet was weird to get used to but manageable. The on property pin was cute with a fish house with lights for night fishing. But we only caught alligator snapping turtles and it was infested with turtles. All we caught besides 1 5 inch bass. It was rough considering we came for fishing. But very nice paylake around it Thomas and Sons.

Father’s Day getaway with kids

It was a wonderful time. We fished- grilled out- made a fire- and had a wonderful time then spent the day on the lake.

Cats everywhere

When we arrived there were cats everywhere. My wife is highly allergic, we were greeted by the host she was very friendly but the whole property reeked of cats. We then entered the place and it was worse inside. The smell was horrific. It smelled of pneumonia and cat pee. My wife could not breathe so we left. We were inside for all of 10 minutes and sat outside while we found us another place to stay at 11:30 at night. I do not recommend a stay here.

Nice over night stay

Nice little place to stay for the night. Hostess Sunny was very sweet. The bathroom accommodations were a bit different, but all in all, everything was nice.

Fishing

Property needed mowed but there had been lots of rain. Grandchildren loved fishing at the small pond and the pedal boat.

Beautiful area and very nice host

Overall we had great experience! Sunnie was very nice and welcoming. We only needed one night of sleeping on the way home to Canada. It was so quiet around! We had better sleep that we could imagine! We wish we could stay for longer. Thank you very much! We really enjoyed our stay!

It was very peaceful, kids love to fish and my kids loved the kitties and that you love the new fencing that was up Our dogs enjoyed the stay as well Much need short getaway

Get away

It was very nice and peacefull, went fishing in pond, walked the 1 1/4 loop, the wi fi was good, everybody we saw was nice as can be. Loved it will be back

Cats galore

I sadly was not able to stay after only being in the cabim for 30 min, i am allergic to black mold and cats. There were more thab i could count of cats om the property, the little cabin was beyond cute but most defenitly had black mold from a storm and a window was busted out, it said it was only 30 min away from the caves on vrbo but is actually a hour and 15 min from it. Was not able to stay beacuse of those two health issues with the property, recieved half of my money back.

Awesome place for relaxation!!

Was allowed to check in day early, quiet area, clean place with good amenities. Sonny was a great hostess and very friendly, neighborhood has great people. Would definitely stay here. Thank you for a great time.

Getaway for my daughter and myself

We enjoyed our stay! Sunnie is a fantastic host! We enjoyed fishing in the pond, loved all the kitties and Spanky is a sweet pup! We both love animals and spending time relaxing in the outdoors. Cabin is adorable and clean. Can’t wait to go back and take my granddaughter she will love it! Highly recommended for nice laid back time.

Big city, small placw getaway

We were overall happy with this small get away. Exactly what we needed and what we were looking for. A small quiet place to shower, eat, sleep after long days on our boat at kicks. We enjoyed Sunnies company and great conversations, stories! The playful kittens on the land were a bonus for us!

A slice of heaven

The cabin was exactly what we had expected, absolutely cute. It had all the amenities that were listed in the add, we had everything that we needed for our stay. Our host Sunnie was great, she met us at the Cabin gave us a tour answered all of our questions. Super friendly and just an overall fantastic host. My only complaint would be the internet service was pretty bad, but we were on vacation so it wasn't that big of a deal. If your looking for a quiet place to relax and kick back, I highly recommend this place. Were already making plans to come back.

This is camping, not glamping

Upon arrival, there were cats EVERYWHERE as well as their feces. While cute in the photos, the smell is inescapable once you enter. The cabin was dirty, inoperable wifi, no potable water, and a compost toilet that is effectively just a bucket to eliminate in. We arrived after a very long drive and still left at sunrise the next morning. We chose to stay in a basement on an airbed.

Quick and easy weekend getaway to get out of the city and breath a little more stress-free

Nice and cozy spot. Inside was warm and inviting and we had everything needed but groceries. Sunnie is very welcoming and hospitable, and our little almost 8-month old took his first couple of steps towards her. There was a nice little lockable sideyard and our k2-year old toddler enjoyed his play area and the cars very much. We did a bit of exploring but our kids were asleep before nightfall so we just enjoyed the campfire and didn't get to the pond. We'll have to go back and fully enjoy the amenities. Thanks Sunnie!

Quaint Little Cabin

Sunnie was very good host to work with. The cabin was cute and comfy. The only complaint I have was the dry flush toilet seat kept coming loose and it was a bit stinky at the end of our stay.

Home away from home

This was our first time to visit this property and we was very pleased. Its just enough out of the way to feel secluded but not too far away to get groceries, etc. Sunnie the hostess was so hospitable. We felt like we always knew her after one conversation. She even asked us if we needed anything in town when she was going for herself. We will definitely go back for long weekends. She even checked on us to ensure we had arrived home safely. The cabin was on a very large property and our dog loved it.

Animal lovers welcomed

Sunnie was very nice, but access to lake was not very easy and privacy was little, it's only privacy was tarps around the houses for fencing, and toilet was horrible, it reminded me of an outhouse ,oh I forgot about the abundant of cats, so if your allergic, be prepared..it was a cute place

Very Cozy and Quaint

The owner was so sweet and accommodating. The beds were comfortable, and the fire pit was perfect. The kitchen was small but perfect for our group of four. The location was beautiful, and fairly close to anything needed whether that be groceries or other necessities. The property was about an hour drive from Mammoth Cave National Park and within easy driving distance of other attractions in the area.

It's all about perspective!

We had a great stay, it was what we needed peace from the world! Things to consider that I wish was in the property BIO - 1. Cant drink the water, so bring plenty. 2. The toilet is a compost toilet, so there is a smell. I love the idea Sunnie has for this property. I have dreamed about a little tiny home village. The cabin is very charming, my son said the best time ever! We did have an unfortunate episode of losing power to the cabin for about 9 hours, but Sunnie offered a free weekend in the future. So that is nice of her because we were disappointed with the outage. The pond is beautiful. Sunnie really is a great host so attentive to needs.
