This ground floor location truly creates the ambiance of being in a beach house. The view of the pool, Gulf of Mexico, award winning beach, and the Russell-Fields fishing pier create the feeling of staying at a five star resort.

The Calypso is located on the snow-white, sugar sands of beautiful Panama City Beach. A convenient walk to Pier Park, City Pier, Gulf World, Calypso Cafe, and more. Minutes to Frank Brown Recreation Center (ballpark and aquatic center).

Relax and enjoy the ground floor convenience with an expansive ocean view. Our balcony is located at the gorgeous, tropical landscaped 175-foot heated, lagoon-style pool (one of two pools). You have complete balcony access and ocean and pool views from the living area, kitchen and master suite.

Our very spacious (1372 square feet) platinum unit. For our returning guests, you have a few surprises in store! (Including a 2nd King bed!) You will LOVE huge mirror above the sofa which perfectly reflects the sparkling turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico. We could think of no better picture than the ocean LIVE!

Luxury accommodations are provided by a king in the master, king in the guest bedroom, and a
Queen in the third bedroom. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

There are many extras including nine-foot ceilings with crown molding, ceramic tile throughout (fewer allergens), granite counters in the bathrooms and kitchen, and full size washer and dryer located in a separate laundry room. A mirrored wet bar with recessed lighting to create your tropical drinks awaits you.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless appliances and everything to make your vacation enjoyable. Cooking is a dream come true, with THAT VIEW from the kitchen sink, but there are so many restaurants in walking distance - it's a toss-up! Fun decisions!

Our unit has always been 100% NON-SMOKING, and beginning January 1, 2024 Calypso is now proud to be a SMOKE FREE RESORT!
Smoking is not allowed on the balconies.
Smoking includes e-cigarettes and vapor products.
In consideration of those who may have allergies, WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS.

Guests under age 25 must be accompanied by parents during the entire stay.

A $500 reservation/security deposit by major credit card or check will hold your reservation. A 25% payment will be due at the time of booking. Cancellations must be made 120 days in advance to receive refund. We only rent weekly during the peak seasons with a Saturday check in and checkout. There is a three day minimum stay during other periods. Payment in full is due 60 days prior to arrival.

Pam made the process of booking this property and checking in extremely easy! The condo is spacious, clean and she even has 2 beach chair reserved on the beach for you. We were allowed to use her reserved parking space for which I was very greatful that I didnt have to deal with husssle of finding a space and paying as well!!

We were very happy with the property and with our hostess. The condo and very well equipped with everything we could need to cook and enjoy the beach. Spring Break!

Annual Family Gulf Coast Jam Trip

We have been going to the Gulf Coast Jam for several years and the first floor condo and location of the condo were perfect!! Best Condo at The Calypso!!

My family and I have been visiting The Calypso for 10 years and this condo has by-far been our favorite! You can not beat being on the first floor! No elevator waits and easy access to the beach, the pool, and everything else! This condo has absolutely everything you could need! It was very kid friendly and just perfect for our 6 year old and 19 month old. Pam was super nice and easy to work with. The condo was very clean and well maintained. We will definitely be back to stay in 102-E!

Amazing property!

My wife and I and our two young children stayed here for a week in early May 2016. Everything about our stay was fantastic. Before arriving, we were worried about the setup of the condo, given that both or our children take naps during the day. As this is a ground floor unit, we were able to sit by the pool with the baby monitor without hassle. And there's no need to bring any beach toys with you. There are a TON of toys at your disposal in the unit. Additionally, the proximity to Pier Park was an added bonus as it was only a short walk to a nice variety of restaurants and shops. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and can't wait to go back next year!

Calypso 1-102

Great condo! Everything we needed for a beach vacation was there: towels, chairs, floats, boogie boards, sand toys, etc. Jan was right when she told me all we needed to bring was our clothes. So many extras: flashlights, board games, movies, books, cards. Jan responded to all my emails, texts, calls almost immediately, she even texted me on my way to the beach with reminders regarding our codes to the room and garage. We had no problems with the condo or the property. I would definitely rent from Jan again. Thanks for making our vacation fabulous!

short but sweet

Myself and my family checked in, and our kids had us at the beach asap. Our stay was short but loved every min of it up until they closed all the beaches. At that point there wasnt a whole lot to do as everything else was closed or about to shut down. Despite all of it Pam the owner was very understanding and stayed in contact with us everyday and ultimately it came down to us having to come home earlier then planned. We are planning a trip back once all this craziness is over and we will book through pam for sure everytime we go if we can. It was the perfect place to be if everything is open and can enjoy the beach. Cant wait to go back. Thanks again pam!!

Mother / Daughter / Friend Getaway

Cannot say enough good things about our stay in "Beach House on the Moon". The condo met our expectations and more! We found ourselves in surroundings of the utmost comfort and cleanliness. We were most taken with the size of the rooms, including the master suite bath as well as the guest full bath. We also loved the convenience of the private beachside parking and the ground floor unit, as well as the use of "2" beach chairs and umbrellas. Marilyn was truly a joy to rent from. She was prompt in reply and has represented her property just as we found it to be. Actually, it may be even better! Thanks so much for helping us make memories! A Great Week!

We stayed here with one other family with a total of three children, ages 3, 4, and 5. It was the perfect condo for what we were wanting for our week stay. Super close to the beach, even closer to the pool, and any toy or equipment for the beach you could ever need! Pam was great at communicating and went above and beyond to touch base to make sure everything was going well. Location on the first floor with the included parking spot makes this condo perfect. The kitchen was stocked well and made cooking at home super easy. We can’t wait to go back!

About 30 years ago my family started to vacation at Panama City Beach. I have so many great childhood memories that include this beach! We started out renting until as an married adult my parents bought their dream condo on the beach. Sadly, my Father soon unexpectedly passed away and my Mom panicked and sold the condo. About a year later my sister found a beautiful place being built and talked my Mom into building and owning with her, right here at Calypso. Since then, My husband and I have been bringing our own children here and making our own beach memories. At the end of 2013 we were finally blessed enough to purchase our own dream condo right here at Calypso. I know my children will be able to create memories here for years to come. I hope that you too will make lasting family memories in BEACH HOUSE ON THE MOON.

Why they chose this property

HISTORY OF BEACH HOUSE ON THE MOON:
Many years ago a young co-ed named Marilyn fell out of a tree (true story!) at the feet of a handsome guy, who fell hard for HER! To make a long love story short, they married, raised a family, then set their sights on their dream - to own a beach condo. They found exactly what they were looking for in a first floor condo at Calypso...You guessed it, that condo was East 102! Being a dedicated Parrothead, Marilyn happily named their condo 'BEACH HOUSE ON THE MOON' which is described in a Jimmy Buffet song!
Being on the ground level, you really do have the feeling that you are staying in your own private beach house, and you are a very short walk from Margaritaville!!! (And the fabulous Pier Park, of course!) When Marilyn decided to sell her 'Beach House on the Moon', my mom (who owns Calypso West 104 with my sister Kerry) was excited to let me know. My husband said YES, and now my goal is to carry on the tradition of excellence that Marilyn began with her original 'Beach House on the Moon'. I will also keep the name that Marilyn had so appropriately called it when she put her heart and soul (and lots of money) into making it one of the most beautiful and unique condos at Calypso. She also had the foresight to purchase a RESERVED PARKING SPOT IN THE GULFSIDE GARAGE LOCATED RIGHT UNDER THE CONDO ITSELF! You will never spend time going across the street to park your car, or look for a prime parking spot. Yours will be waiting for you every time you need it...No searching, no worry! Isn't that what a vacation is supposed to be? COME TO YOUR OWN LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN @ 'BEACH HOUSE ON THE MOON'.
