About this property
Tremaes, Solva - Four Bedroom Cottage, Sleeps 8
Just 1 mile from picturesque Solva and less than 10 minutes from St Davids, Tremaes is a spacious and comfortable home from home in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It is just a short drive from the spectacular beaches at Newgale (10 mins) and Whitesands (15 mins).
Set in almost an acre of safe enclosed gardens with a large enclosed lawn, Tremaes offers views over the St Davids peninsula to the distant range of hills between the beaches at Whitesands and Abereiddi. From Tremaes, it's a short walk to the heathland of the former St Davids airfield, now an SSSI and filled with skylarks in spring and summer.
This is a wonderful location for the walker, birdwatcher, surfer, runner and cyclist, and is a stargazer's paradise on a clear night. The large conservatory is a perennial favourite with our guests - the perfect place to relax and unwind or enjoy a barbecue on the patio and delight in the spectacular sunsets.
The natural beauty of Ramsey and Skomer Islands, the Pembrokeshire Coast path and the Preseli Hills are all easily accessible as are the man-made attractions of Pembrokeshire such as Castell Henllys and Pembroke Castle. Tremaes benefits from its own solar energy and is a warm and cosy holiday cottage all year round with a tranquil atmosphere all of its own.
