Clean, Lovely Mountaintop Cabin in the Forest

This cabin felt spacious and like home instead of a rental. Two king bedrooms were fantastic. Kitchen had everything we needed. Cleanliness is important to us and we were very satisfied with it. We stayed in a lot because of rain and were very comfortable and cozy. Furniture, blankets, pillows, and beds were designed for comfort. The steep switchback roads might daunt some, but we had no difficulty even in the rain. My 11 yr. old son and I were very happy here!

Beautiful cabin but hard to get to and things didn't work

The cabin is very clean and beautiful with a sunroom area and hot tub on balcony away from animals. The arcade did not work unfortunately, I did reach out and they responded immediately not knowing about it being broke. Then the wifi was out which means only dvds can be played for TV. They had some movies but no kid movies, luckily we had some with us. There is a Playstation and a Wii but batteries were dead for controllers and no extras were there so we bought some in town the next day. Hot tub is up high on a balcony where no bears can get too so that was really nice. The climb up to the cabin is VERY scary at some points. We had another van coming down as we went up and he had to squeal tires to back up hill enough to let us by. Avoid traveling to and from at night or in rain! overall it is still very nice and clean and fun for our whole family. Extras like cards, books and tons of kitchen items were nice even lights incase of power outage.

Mountain Cabin

This cabin is a perfect getaway. It is close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but far enough away that you feel like you are in the middle of no where. Checkin workers are super helpful and owner is very responsive. I highly recommend

Great memories

We loved this sweet, beautiful cabin. It is so cozy and welcoming. Lovely scriptures on the walls, my boys love the arcade games, and the hot tub was very relaxing. I got to see a bear the very first day we were there right outside the cabin! It is a little bit difficult to get to since the road is steep with sharp turns but that is to be expected if you want a more secluded cabin in the Smoky Mountains. We highly recommend this place. You won't regret it.

Heaven on a mountain

The cabin was phenomenal!! Clean and stocked! Their attention to detail was terrific! The motif of the home was biblical, warm, comfortable, and inviting! I have rented cabins in the smokies 3 other times; the others were great, but this is the best! They even labeled the remote controls in each room as to how to navigate the tv's!! They had decorative but usable lanterns by the front door, labeled for use in a power outage!! Who does that? These owners thought of everything!! The drive up is a lesson to trust and rely on God in difficult times, as in, I'm from the flat cornfields of indiana. Highly recommend this beautiful heaven on a mountain!

Great Place!!!

We really enjoyed our stay. I had two of my granddaughters (13 and 14years old) with me. It was nice to be out of the city and away from everything. Even had a blender for my smoothie in the morning. Did not see a bear but the first time the girls saw fireflies!!! We would come again!!!

Clean and well-stocked property

The cabin was very clean and was pretty well-stocked with some essentials. The hosts are bit strange in that they cautioned us they had installed cameras on the front of the property and would be watching. They said this is to ensure no pets were "smuggled in" but it was the strangest thing to know they are actively watching their ring doorbell every time you enter. The hot tub was great but the deck was a bit messy. We had to sweep the deck before getting in to keep the leaves and debris from entering the hot tub with us. The property is within a resort which cuts down on a traffic but the signage is not the best. We definitely got a lost a couple times. We did see a small bear less than 500 feet from the cabin during one instance of being lost. [The cabin is on a loop so you can eventually get there.] One bed was a tempur-pedic and was great. The other bed was not nearly as comfy and squeaked a lot. The temper-pedic was in the master bedroom with the attached bath. The decor is very, very Christian and faith based. We were fine with it but it was nearly overkill for us. All in all, it was a great cabin but I don't think we will stay there again. The ring doorbell was an issue for me. We weren't doing anything wrong or bad and no intentions of smuggling any animals in. It was just extremely off-putting.

Christmas 2020 with snow

This was a beautiful cabin and nicely decorated. Anything that you wanted to cook with or have was easily available. The housekeeper could have done better as trash was under sofa, sofa needed vacuumed, fans dusted but that was the least of our worries as we were snowed in. We had some heat from gas fire place but no power or water. This is not on the owner as I did keep him in the loop as to what happened but it needs to have a generator and filled propane for the grill at all times in the event guest are snowed in. The emergency flashlights were dead and could not be used but we made do with what we had. Be prepared if you book with snow chances.

We enjoyed our time at the cabin. The cabin is surrounded by trees which made for a very pleasant quiet visit. No road noise at this cabin. Everything we needed for a great vacation was at the cabin. I even won a few games of Pac-Man

Loved this property!

The pictures of this place do not even compare to how beautiful it was! The inside was perfect for us. More than enough was provided and you can tell the owners have really poured love into this cabin. My son loved the Pac-Man game! We couldn’t figure out how to work the other one, but no worries. This place was very clean and updated, only one complaint. The couch bed sheet was stained/dirty so we did not use it. Overall, this was a great experience and we will definitely be back! Thank you

Pigeon Forge Cabin

This was a beautiful cabin. Very warm & cozy feeling. Everything was as expected. Arcade games were a nice extra. Clean and plenty of essentials. My only negative comment would be concerning the drive up to the cabin. It was a lot further up than we expected which led to some anxiety. Otherwise the cabin itself was great!

His promise cabin

The cabin was more then we expected and checking in at the gate house was easy. The location was a little interesting getting to but directions were helpful. After arriving at the cabin and unpacking the truck about 1/2 hr later we were surprised by mama bear and 4 cubs crossing the road in front of the cabin. We have been to this area many times and never saw a bear up close like that. Differently have to be alert of your surrounding. My only problem was the shower heads in the master bedroom bathroom. The shower heads in the shower stall and the shower in the tub we weak.. looks like they need replacing. Couldn’t adjust the spray of water in the tub because the lever wasn’t working. The shower stall was not allowing water to spray due to some of the holes clogged.. took alittle longer to get shampoo out of your hair.. other then that it was a fabulous cabin and would recommend to others. Thanks Ernie for everything :)

So new and very nice. No steps inside and plenty of room for everyone

It was very clean and nice, not quite a year old. There were nice rocking chairs outside and a great rocking chair in the den. The owners had a lot of extras in there to make it like home-- movies, extra towels and pillows, even little yellow knobs for corn on the cob. We went to Cade's Cove in the national park and the drive was beautiful. It wasn't very far from Pigeon Forge, although I wouldn't want to drive the hills in the snow if I lived up there! We would certainly book this cabin again next year!

My wife and I have always loved the Smoky Mountains and would visit as often as possible. In 2017 we decided to purchase a second home there so that we could make family memories together. Since we can not visit as much as we would like, we decided to let others stay and enjoy it as much as much as we do.
