Cosy Barn Conversion| Close to the Coast & Exmoor| North Devon
Cider House is one of three beautifully appointed barn conversions at Nutcombe Holiday Cottages. Set in 6 acres of glorious Devon countryside, you will experience peace and tranquility during your stay yet be within easy reach of all that North Devon has to offer.
Sleeping up to 4 in two en-suite bedrooms, Cider House is perfect for couples, a small family, or 3 adults. The views from the property are outstanding overlooking beautiful landscaped gardens to the countryside beyond.
Access to the property is on the upper ground floor level at the rear into an open plan living space with vaulted ceiling, exposed stone walls and solid English oak flooring.
The Space:
Fully fitted shaker kitchen with granite worktops, equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday, including a dishwasher. A four seater dining table is provided for sociable meals and a statement Smeg fridge/freezer.
The open plan lounge area offers stunning views from every window and is furnished with pale blue Laura Ashley sofa and two armchairs; perfect for relaxing evenings in front of the Smart TV. Access to your own Netflix and other On Demand services is available through a Humax box. Styled with solid oak furniture, the lounge is a cosy home from home.
Downstairs:
The bedrooms are located on the lower ground floor level down a set of carpeted stairs from the lounge.
In the downstairs hallway you will find a washer/dryer; perfect for keeping those holiday clothes spick and span.
Bedroom 1
The master bedroom is furnished with a wrought iron king size bed, again with fantastic views over the garden and furnished with solid oak wardrobe and bedside cabinets.
The en-suite limestone bathroom has a full size bath with overhead shower, basin and WC.
Bedroom 2
The second bedroom is an en-suite single room that can be set up as a small twin room using a full size 3 foot trundle bed making it perfect for children.
The en-suite limestone shower room, has a magnificent walk in rainfall shower with massage jet system for luxury bathing, a basin and WC.
Access to the rear terrace is from the single room through French doors.
Outside:
The gorgeous South facing sun terraced accessed from the single bedroom, offers stunning views across the garden to the valley beyond and is furnished with a dining table and chairs and two sun loungers making it perfect to watch the swallows dipping over the pond, enjoy a good book or a sundowner.
Dogs:
We welcome up to two dogs Iover 18 months) in Cider House who get to enjoy our large enclosed dog garden and our 3 acre field. We supply dog bowls, a dog bowl mat, a few poop bags, identity tags so they don't get lost during their stay and a throw for the sofas.
Car Parking:
We have a large car park above our dog garden, so plenty of parking for all our guests.

Set in our own secluded valley on the edge of Exmoor, Cider house is an escape from the every day and yet we are just 2 miles from the local beach with the wilds of Exmoor and the South West Coast Path just up the hill. There are many local attractions for kids as well as adults with National Trust properties, gardens and pretty villages to explore. Our local beach is dog friendly and offers perfect conditions for wild swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding and is a magnet for crabbing to keep the kids entertained.

We have lived at Nutcombe Farm for over 7 years and love where we live. We have experience of holiday letting for 40 years and so are very fortunate to have a lot of experience providing holidays to our guests. We love walking, the sea and exploring the countryside, so living here is just perfect for that. Being a host is hard work but rewarding and we love it when guests have a wonderful holiday with us. Sharing our local knowledge and special places to visit is all part of making our guests stays special
