Casa Clara - Casa Moderna con vista mozzafiato

Casa Clara è un piccolo gioiello sulla Costiera Amalfitana. Appena ristrutturata, gode di ambienti ampi, un design semplice e pulito e una vista mozzafiato. Dispone di due camere da letto, ciascuna con bagno collegato: la casa ideale sia per la famiglia, che per due coppie. La posizione è notevole: centrale e allo stesso tempo lontana dai rumori. Il centro del paese è a pochi minuti a piedi: ristoranti, bar, negozio di alimentari, fermata dell’autobus… sono immediatamente raggiungibili. Tutta la casa é servita da wifi e aria condizionata. Per raggiungere la casa è necessario scendere circa 100 gradini dalla strada principale. Consigliamo di raggiungerci senza auto.

La casa è organizzata su un unico livello:

• Terrazza vista mare;
• Ampia zona giorno vista sul mare e su Positano e Capri, con cucina e soggiorno, dotata di TV, divano e tavolo per 6;
• 1 ampia camera matrimoniale con vista (misure letto 160x190) con bagno ensuite - con doccia;
• 1 camera matrimoniale/o due letti singoli (misure letto 160x190);
• Bagno con doccia;

Casa Clara si trova sul lato Ovest di Praiano, in una zona molto tranquilla e silenziosa, da cui è possibile godere di tramonti mozzafiato. La villa è raggiungibile attraverso due vie: la via più comoda è attraverso la Chiesa di San Gennaro con un sentiero di circa 300 mt e circa 110 gradini; in alternativa si possono scendere circa 170 gradini dalla via principale. Il parcheggio non è disponibile. Raccomandiamo di raggiungerci senza auto.

Easily 5 stars.

A highlight of our trip. The apartment is beautiful, the view spectacular. It is newly renovated, and huge! More than enough space for our family and kids. The host has two children and my girls loved to play with them for hours, so the kids had the best time ever. We loved Praiano, so happy we stayed there and chose this place. The beaches down the front are amazing. We are in Positano now, and while it’s also beautiful, I preferred Praiano to stay. Highly recommend this villa!

Perfect Vacation Rental in a Stunning Place!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Casa Clara. To start, our host Nadia, was so helpful and nice. She was available throughout our stay for any questions or requests. The place is spotless, is well-appointed with anything you could possibly need and the view is just spectacular. The photos on the website depict exactly what Casa Clara looks like. We stayed for six nights and cannot wait to go back. One word of advice is to pack light. We (really just me) didn't and we had to lug many suitcases up and down A LOT of stairs. There is a washing machine and clothesline, so you can wash and rewear clothes. There are two markets, a small pharmacy and many restaurants nearby, as well.

Lovely stay in Praiano

The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms solid, and the A/C was exactly what we wanted. Great for a longer stay. Hard to undersell the upper garden/patio/pool — amazing views of the coast from here, plenty of umbrellas and shade to shield you from the sun. The kitchen was well-stocked, albeit missing a better coffee-brewing option than a small French press. It’s a hike from the main road & amalfi coast bus line, but that’s what one should expect staying on amalfi coast. The stairs were well-maintained so simply a matter of physical condition — the bag porter service at check-in was complementary AND clutch. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to others.

Great Stay!

Nadia is the most amazing host - such a lovely person and so helpful! Her management team, SMAAC, is also fantastic - easy to communicate with. The accommodation is absolutely stunning - super clean with gorgeous views. We loved the location - the sets of steps are separated by beautiful walkways. So picturesque! Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit Meerblick und herzlichen Gastgebern

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Nadja und ihrem Mann empfangen und auch während des gesamten Aufenthalts liebevoll betreut. Ein großer Korb mit allen möglichen Köstlichkeiten hat uns im Haus erwartet, an Ostern haben wir eine Pastiera bekommen, von der Oma gebacken und extrem lecker. Die Wohnung liegt sehr schön am Hang und ist top ausgestattet, vom Balkon und vom Schlafzimmer aus hat man einen tollen Meerblick und man ist weg vom Trubel der Hauptstraße. Fußläufig erreichbar sind mehrere Restaurants, Geschäfte, Bars und der Strand. Für uns war Praiano die richtige Wahl, weil es weniger touristisch als Positano und Amalfi ist (vor allem keine Tagestouristen!), aber alles bietet, was man für einen schönen Urlaub braucht. Die Einheimischen sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, man lebt in Praiano einfach mit ihnen. Allerdings muss man täglich viele Treppen steigen, was aber in vielen Orten an der Amalfiküste so ist. Und es hält fit. Unser Auto wurde in einer Parkgarage in der Nähe verstaut und auf Wunsch gebracht. Parkplätze gibt es an der Amalfiküste kaum welche, wenn man einen braucht, kostet das einiges. Wir haben 30 Euro am Tag bezahlt. Man kann aber gut auf den Bus umsteigen, der permanent zwischen Sorrent und Amalfi fährt. Insgesamt war es ein toller Aufenthalt in einer unglaublich schönen Gegend mit perfekter rundum Betreuung.

Praiano Perfection

Our stay at Casa Clara was perfect for our family of 4 with a beautiful view of the sea and Positano. We could open the doors to our balcony and sit and watch and hear the sea from our bed or the living room. The house is immaculate being newly renovated and very clean. The location in Praiano is very central and easy to walk to great local restaurants or to catch a taxi or bus to other locations on the Amalfi Coast. We enjoyed the quaintness of staying in Praiano over Positano where it feels much more touristy and crowded. Our host, Nadia, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay even when we arrived quite late for our check-in. When we return to the Amalfi Coast in the near future, we plan to stay at Casa Clara again!

Wonderful stay in Priano

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa in Praiano. We were very happy. We were very happy that we stayed in Priano rather than the Amalfi or Positano, as they were very busy and Priano was more low-key. The view is magical. The Villa is lovely, spacious with several areas to hang out. But it is not for the unprepared! Make sure you can do the 265 stairs up from the road with luggage but there is a Porter service if need be. and I suggest picking up groceries on the way there. Property manager was excellent with communications.

Exceptional!

What a perfect holiday! If you are looking for a quiet spot on the Amalfi Coast to watch the sunsets then Casa Clara is ideal. Nadia went above and beyond, meeting us on arrival and connecting us with a boat tour operator. The eggs from her hens were a special touch.

The host was super nice and bent over backwards to make sure we had a great stay — and we did! The appartement is great for a family of four, the view is unbeatable, and we spent an amazing week on the Amalfi coast.

Best Place to Stay in Praiano!

We absolutely loved our stay in Praiano. Nadia is a five star host and takes great care of her guests. She went beyond what any host has done for us in the past. The home is beautiful, with an amazing view of the Amalfi coast. It’s close to several shops, restaurants, and a grocery store. If we came back we’d stay here again!

Great views but 209 steps to the house. Didn't mind the exercise, but need to be fit to enjoy.

Worth renting, but need to plan transportation from Salerno to property. 1.5 to 2 hours using private transportation $140 to $200 one way.

This place is stunning!

This place is stunning! I will never forget the views from the balcony, truly incredible. Very spacious, immaculate, well equipped and we felt right at home. The beds are comfy and the outdoor space is a dream. Communication was thoughtful and proactive, seamless. The stairs are precisely as advertised, made easier by a few glasses of wine at dinner 🤣 You can walk everywhere from here, which we did, but we also took a taxi up from dinner a few times. If you want to limit steps maybe pick something on/close to Via Guglielmo Marconi.

We loved it!

We stayed here with our 14 month old son for 9 nights and loved it. The house is spacious and clean with three terraces to eat, drink, soak in the hot tubjust enjoy the views. The kitchen was also well stocked if you want to eat in occasionally. We also enjoyed being close to the Path of the Gods trail. It’s 210 stairs to the road and twice that to get to the main roadbeaches in Praiano so I would not suggest this for anyone with mobility issues but we did not mind.

The best views on the Almafi coast. There are a lot of stairs like they share in the description. But if you can handle that you will not find a better place to stay in Praiano. And special thanks for Norman for helping us out with reservations and taxis and making our trip special

Amazing!

Nadia's place was beyond amazing! The pictures did not do justice on how stunning the apartment truly was. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. Immaculately clean and spacious for my family of four. The AC was fabulous! The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Nadia's attention to detail and generosity were more than five stars. She was the most kind and genuine host we have ever encountered. Nadia went above and beyond to make sure our stay was absolutely perfect. The location was exactly where we wanted. Most important was the outstanding view. Close to everything in town, near restaurants, shops, and transportation. We were so happy to have chosen Praiano and all it has to offer over Positano. We found Praiano to be more idyllic and authentic, old school italian. Without a doubt, we would stay in Nadia's place again and highly recommend it to all of my family and friends.

Incredible! We are so glad we found this place. It was perfect for our 4 days in Praiano. The location was perfect. The place was large and spacious with an amazing view from a balcony that runs the entire length of the unit. Bedrooms and bathrooms were impeccably clean and well-stocked, kitchen was equally nice and functional. The AC worked well which was critical in the summer heat. True, there are steep stairs to the house, but that’s everywhere in the Amalfi coast so it was all part of the charm. We had easy access to various beaches and spots to get water taxis, close to restaurants, shops, bus stops and little bars. Our host Nadia was unbelievably helpful and kind, giving us lots of great tips on places to go and answering any questions quickly and clearly. She even gave us fruit from her garden! Highly recommend this place and it would be the first I would return to.

This place is amazing with breathtaking view

This place is amazing with breathtaking view. Very clean and spacious apartment also close to everything. Very quiet and you can relax if you wantjust short walk to the beautiful beaches, restaurants and other attractions. The most kind and welcoming host, I don’t have enough words to explain. Thank you Nadia to you and your family for making us feel like home. Hope to have the chance to come back in the future.
