About this property
Harbour Haven- idyllic coastal retreat
Harbour Haven is a delightful hideaway on the harbour front of Cellardyke, ideal for a solo break or couples’ getaway by the sea.
Recently upgraded, this enviably located one bedroom apartment has incredible views over the harbour to the Isle of May. Sit by the open window and feel the sea breeze as you watch the world go by on the coastal path below.
Harbour Haven is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the gentle pace of life as well as a fantastic base from which to explore the many local delights.
Entering the property from the quiet street just off the coastal path there are two steps into the hallway. A fully modernised shower room is located off the hallway, with the spacious and bright lounge just ahead. Within the lounge there is a range of seating, positioned to make the most of the sea views and a workspace which can extend to provide a dining table. The kitchen flows from the lounge and has a breakfast bar dining space, oven, hob and microwave. The bedroom enjoys harbour and sea views, and you can wake up to the sound of the waves from the comfortable queen size bed.
If you are a keen wild swimmer, you can take a dip in the harbour or at the tidal pool just a few minutes’ walk along the street, and you can also try out some water sports if you’re feeling adventurous. A gentle 10-minute stroll takes you to the harbour front of Anstruther where you will find fish and chip shops, restaurants, cafes and bars as well as independent shops including a butcher and bakers.
Each of the East Neuk villages are easily reached along the coastal path or by bus or car, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to explore this beautiful coastline, its history and heritage. Take a boat ride to the Isle of May to experience the wildlife, or you may even spot a passing pod of dolphins from the comfort of Harbour Haven.
This lovely retreat is equally as enticing on the bright summer days as it is in the cooler months- watching the waves crash over the harbour wall from the cosy lounge with electric fire is a real treat.
Parking is available on street. Well behaved dog welcome by arrangement.
