Volledig bijgewerkt 1 slaapkamer, 1 badkamer appartement in een complex aan de oceaan! Het appartement heeft een volledig uitgeruste keuken en een gereserveerde parkeerplaats op slechts een steenworp afstand. Deze accommodatie bevindt zich op de 3e verdieping en biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de tuin, een gedeeltelijk uitzicht op de oceaan en maakt optimaal gebruik van de passaatwinden. Een airconditioner is ook voorzien in de slaapkamer voor uw comfort. U zult alle gemakken van thuis hebben. Een grote keuken met alle voorzieningen die de perfecte plek is om maaltijden te bereiden. Er is zelfs een blender voor je bevroren drankjes en de koelkast heeft ijs en gefilterd water door de deur. De slaapkamer heeft een comfortabel queensize bed met zeer zachte lakens. Ga je naar het strand? We hebben strandstoelen, een parasol en een koelbox waar gasten gebruik van kunnen maken. Downtown Kona is een korte wandeling over het mooie Alii Drive. Dicht genoeg bij de vele restaurants en winkels, maar ver genoeg weg genoeg om weg te komen van de drukte. Alii Villas is een zeer gewilde accommodatie aan de oceaan met een prachtig onderhouden terrein, een door zonne-energie verwarmd zwembad met veel ligstoelen, een groot terras met barbecues en tafels voor uw diner aan zee en entertainment. Er zijn banken bij de oceaan waar veel mensen samenkomen om de spectaculaire zonsondergangen van Kona te bekijken! Wat onderscheidt ons van andere verhuurbedrijven? We hebben Kona tot ons thuis gemaakt en wonen ter plaatse. We ontmoeten onze gasten bij aankomst om een vlotte check-in te verzekeren (hier zijn geen lock-boxes mogelijk). We zijn altijd bereid om onze gasten te helpen en om suggesties te geven wanneer daarom wordt gevraagd. We willen je graag op je Big Island-vakantie ontvangen!

Relaxing getaway

This was our 2nd time at this property. We enjoyed it so much the first time that when planning this trip we wanted the same place because we loved the location. The condo was very clean and well maintained. Everything was great. We especially enjoyed the spectacular sunsets.

This is the second time we have stayed at one of Jen & Mike's properties. They are great and helpful hosts and their units are well maintained and clean. We like the Alii Villa's location and the pool is never crowded. This location will be at the top of our list for our next visit.

Jen & Mike are amazing hosts! Their property is spotless and has everything to enjoy your stay; market is 15 minutes away so you can save $. Pool and grill area are very clean. Entire property is well taken care of. Good value for cost of stay!

Great place!

We highly recommend this condo. It was clean, modern & cozy. The lanai looked out onto a beautiful garden area. The whole complex was quiet which was nice. The owners were very easy to communicate with & the check-in process was simple. The condo had everything we needed.

This condo was an easy place to be for our month in Kailua. Alii Villas is a well kept property with a great pool and a spacious BBQ deck. Parking is convenient and the whole complex feels friendly and secure. After a few nights the road noise seemed to fade into the ambient.

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay here. Pros included a very easy check-in process, designated parking, very clean and well-stocked unit, great beach supplies (cooler, chairs, boogie boards, towels), and washer/dryer. We agreed with other reviewers that the parking space is very narrow (no big trucks or SUVs), the bed felt small and was on the firm side, and the couch was not very comfortable. Pillows were very flat and hard, but I bought a fluffy one and left it there. Would stay again, but would bring my own pillow.

Beautiful condo!

We had a great stay at Jen and Mike’s condo. We have stayed at two other condos at this property and appreciated the updates they have made. The property itself is also very clean and well kept. They are wonderful hosts, providing a smooth and easy check in, spotless condo and everything we needed for the week. Loved having all the beach equipment…chairs, umbrella and towels. They were always very quick to answer any questions we had too. We definitely hope to be back again!

Great location

Jen and Mike were great hosts. The condo was immaculate with all the essentials. We have been to Kona before but this was the nicest condo we’ve stayed in. If you are visiting for the first time this would also be a great condo to stay at because of the location and easy access to everything. They even provided a great tourist book to help with any kind of adventure you might be interested in:) We would definitely stay here again in our next trip to Kona:)

Wonderful March Vacation

Jen & Mike’s condo was just as advertised. It was extremely clean and was very well equipped. It was great having the cooler, umbrella and towels for the days at the beach. The lanai was perfect for morning coffee and meals. Jen and Mike were very accommodating for our late arrival and allowed us a later checkout due to our late departure. A real gem

This condo was perfect for my stay and had everything I needed; great kitchen; comfortable bed; peaceful lanai. It is clean, organized and tastefully decorated. Amazing place to stay.

This remodeled condo is perfect for 2 people. Kitchen had everything you need. Bedroom have an aircondition which was very much needed during the nights, it gets hot in Kona. Lanai was spacious. We enjoy to have breakfast on a lanai and looking at the ocean. One of the best things in this condo was a fridge, which had a filtered water and was producing ice. We left some beach accesories in the condo for others. This condo is very close to downtown. It took 5 minutes to drive there, if you like to walk, you can do that too. Great place to get breakfast is Papa Kona. White sand beach is close also. Kona have a great vegan restaurant - Journey to Good Health Cafe LLC. This condo is close to the road, but because of the aircoditioning running, you can not hear it. We had no problem to sleep. Jen is very nice and trully made our stay so much better. She went beyond for our comfort.

Absolutely gorgeous!

Exceptional! Arriving late at night to this property, we were greeted with a personalized welcome message from the hosts, and the vision of flickering tiki torches on the lanai. By day, we treasured the relaxing aesthetics of the decor, which we enjoyed for the duration of our three week visit. Jen & Mike ‘knocked the ball out of the park’ with their preparations. Beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, etc. were all available for our use. Waking up refreshed and having coffee on the lanai which overlooked a beautifully landscaped garden setting was idyllic. The very efficient ceiling fans kept us cool, without us ever having to use the air conditioning unit. The pool area and grounds of this condominium were extraordinarily clean and well maintained. The kitchen provided everything we needed to prepare our meals along with some much appreciated spices and condiments. In all, we did not want for anything and will eagerly look forward to revisiting this property again. Mahalo Jen and Mike!

Nice, well appointed place, but too hot in the condo for us.

This was our 1st vacation involving a condo rental, we generally book 4-4½ star resorts. When we vacation, we love the heat while out, but like to come back to relax and watch TV in the evenings – we don't vacation to socialize with or meet new people. It appears we were not careful enough in reviewing this listing and the expected outdoor temperatures when we chose. While the condo was excellent in every other way, and the hosts had it well stocked with information and useful items like boogie boards, the lack of air conditioning outside of the bedroom was an issue for us. There are instructions to ONLY run the AC with the bedroom door closed, along with explanations of how expensive electricity is. The first 5 days we were here, the outside high ranged from 86-88° F (29-31° C) In the evenings the condo was 30° C (86° F) and we were sometimes able to drop the temp down to 26°C (79° F) by the next AM by running two fans full speed all night, but it would start rising again early AM. The first few nights it felt hotter than that in the condo, but we only bought a thermometer and another fan after the first few days. With the trade winds generally coming from the NE/ENE, we were not able to get any sort of useful breeze through the condo. We were very hot and uncomfortable anywhere in the condo (except the bedroom) every evening. The AC cooled the bedroom well, but we didn't want to spend our evenings there, and the TV was in the living room. We needed to keep some clothing on due to the lack of privacy - the windows / door we needed to keep open were facing other condos. With the way the condo is laid out, and the vertical blind over only part of the patio door (the blind vanes could not be closed) privacy was limited and anyone on the lanai opposite could see directly in. The leather couch wasn't a great option as we would stick to it in the heat. We also didn't want to run the oven in the condo or go down to the BBQ area to cook/eat publicly, so we ate out. We did not contact the hosts about this issue, as the documentation we had been provided was clear that the A/C was only for the bedroom. While our travels around the island were great, and we experienced some amazing things, we will more carefully review our prospective condo rentals amenities in the future. From what we can see in reviews, this has not been a huge issue for those who left reviews, but we felt it was important to share for travellers who might feel the way we did.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung sehr genossen. Es begann mit einer persönlichen Begrüßung und ausführlichen Erklärung der Wohnung durch die sehr sympathischen Gastgeber. In der Wohnung ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was das Herz begehrt. Auch die Lage war sehr zentral, in wenigen Minuten war man im Zentrum. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und sehen uns sicher bald wieder.

Relaxing and well equipped stay on the Big Island

Great communication from Jen and Mike. Easy check in process. Well situated on Ali'i Drive, under two miles to the pier. Clean condo with plenty of space for two or a bit more. Everything we needed for our stay was already there and the full size washer and dryer was wonderful. Parking is right outside the entrance. We are from a cold climate so the heat in Kona took some getting used to. The AC unit keeps the bedroom comfortable if you keep the door closed and there are extra fans around the unit. I would definitely stay here again.

Prior to moving to Kona we rented out space at our lake home in Minnesota and are excited to have the opportunity to do the same in Hawaii. We found the perfect location at Alii Villas to call home and are excited to share this beautiful complex and the Aloha of the island with our guests.
