A perfect retreat

Very nice place to just relax and unwind. We had a hunters moon over the lake and wow! So beautiful! Fishing was so good too! We will def be back soon! :)

Great location and host

We love coming to Lake Cypress Springs for our annual family reunion. The cabin was perfect and Mary is a great host!

Once found, it was a nice cabin, It was hard to determine the location arriving late. It was assumed that it was waterfront. The cabin was clean and comfortable.

Lake Weekend

We loved the location of the house! The owner was quick to respond when we had last minute questions which was very nice. The washer and dryer was an extra plus. One thing to keep in mind is there is limited storage. We had a great stay!!

Quite Oasis

This neighborhood was cozy and quite. We loved the cabin and will stay there again. The boat slip was a great plus in that we didn’t have to load and unload our boat. Great start to an amazing summer.

Grandkids trip

The accommodations were really nice. There was a couple of things that I would improve. The kitchen sink was dirty and there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I had to hunt down a hand towel for the master bathroom. That’s really all that I would suggest as needing attention. The grandkids really loved the loft bedrooms! It was very pleasant stay!

Sublime Woodland Retreat

We stayed for four nights with three of our adult children. This place just seems to hit the "unwind" button on one's body and mind. This home has the most beautiful view of the lake, and the woods are so peaceful. It's also great to be able to just walk down to the lake. Mary is a very gracious hostess. Wish we had our own watercraft to bring, because there are no nearby rentals.

Beautiful view! The windows made getting rained on worth it getting to see the storm through those big windows. Short walk down to the lake and docks to fish off of. Mary was super responsive with any questions I had!

Perfect Retreat

Sweet cabin that was perfect for our stay. It is a bit dated and a/c upstairs could not keep up with the heat. It is also not on the water, you must walk down to the slip, which is not easy if you are carrying a cooler. Mary was wonderful and everything else was just as advertised. Great overall location and Mary was very accommodating.

Overall cute place but didn’t realize it wasn’t water front! Heat was an issue and had to go buy extra fans to cool the place down. Also we didn’t have hot water in the master sink but otherwise was perfect for weekend get away!

Clean and Quiet Get-away

Wonder property! It has large windows that bring in the light from outside perfectly. The home is surrounded by huge trees that make you feel like your in the forest without actually being there. I enjoyednsitting on the back deck in the mornings listening to the birds sing and the breeze rustling through the trees. The home has everything you need and would want. I saw several reviews that were pretty recent that said there was no microwave but there is now which is super convenient for those who do not feel Ike actually cooking. I have nothing negative to say and Mary was super responsive.

Great Place - Wrong Time of Year

The property was exactly as advertised. Clean, comfortable and convenient to the lake. Ideal for a summer getaway BUT not in the late fall off peak season. The neighborhood outside the gated lakeside area is somewhat rough and there are many stray dogs, including two very aggressive ones that wandered onto the property. I imagine there are less likely to be issues when there are more people around, but we couldn’t let our children outside by themselves after that run in, and we understand from the police that stray dogs are an issue in that area. Hate to cast a negative light on what is otherwise a great place - I would definitely be willing to go back during the busier summer months.
