Don't forget that just down the road, you can visit terrific fresh seafood restaurants at Moss Landing; kayak out & find sea otters enjoying the Elkhorn Slough; dine & shop in nearby Monterey - or if you have a wanderlust, visit Big Sur! Everything is close by, and yet you will feel that you're a world away. Enjoy tennis? There are many great courts here! Basketball, beach volleyball set ups, wonderful walking trails, and of course, the most stunning & quiet beach on the Monterey bay. Our condo faces Monterey Bay which gives amazing sunrise views daily.

Our property managers at Pajaro Dunes Resort will help with anything you might need to further enjoy your stay. Nearby attractions include the Monterey Bay Aquarium; the Santa Cruz Mystery Spot. Stop at our lobby store where you can find special coastal gifts to take memories home; Maid service is also available upon request. We hope to welcome you to our home away from home. Coastal relaxing

Very comfortable place; couch and bed. Spacious and bright. Has all the simple things you needed in the kitchen for cooking except it does not have a BBQ grill. The pictures in listing shows one but I did not see one when i arrived.

The view was perfect

The property was perfect for my purposes…I wanted to see the bay while I worked. But the unit needs an upgrade, new flooring, new furniture, bathroom remodel. The quality of the bath linens was great, especially given how old everything else was. But, I chose the unit specifically because of the table right in the glass enclosed corner so that I could work and still see the water. Beach access was perfect for twice daily walks.

Family fun

This unit was clean, well stocked, and the view was fabulous. They made check in a breeze and responded quickly to any questions. The only thing that could have been improved was that the beds were a little hard/not super comfy. But overall it was a great stay and would stay there again!

Beautiful beach, great access to nature

A beach like this is obviously amazing when the weather is good - but the apartment is also lovely when the weather is bad. The view is great, the size inside is more than enough for a family of four, and it is neat and clean.

Nice June Vacation at Pelican Point

This room (pelican 20) has a wonderful ocean view which is set up for dining by the viewing window, and a huge wrap-around balcony! Mostly clean, just needs updates. Bring slippers because the carpet is dingy. And the couch is musty and stained but comfortable. We put a blanket over it. The owners must replace their linens!! All of the spare sheets and blankets are stained or have holes. Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and things to eat/drink with. No pantry staples like oil or salt&pepper - bring your own. Bathrooms are small but overall the place is spacious with lots of big windows! We overall enjoyed our stay. This was our fifth time staying at Pajaro Dunes Resort. We love the private and clean beach with incredibly easy access points throughout the resort and the softest sand. They separate public access which is great! We usually stay on the Shorebirds side; this was our first time on the Pelican side. It’s also nice but there was a deceased sea lion at the entry of beach access which apparently had been there for weeks. Awful sight and smell kind of ruined it. Not the resorts fault, though, they need state parks to handle it. So we spent all our time on the Shorebirds beach (5 min drive). Grocery store about 15 mins away and a few restaurants. You’ll want to stock up and just chill at your VRBO. Short 40 min drive to Monterey. Moss Landing about 20 mins away which has a nice state beach and yummy Phil’s fish market — we always get fresh fish to cook.

Reconnecting

We didn’t know what to expect because we have never been to the area. This condo was perfect for my family of 4. We had a blast exploring the beach and relaxed watching the waves/sunsets from the deck. It was a fantastic place for us to reconnect as a family. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Unit Pelican 20

I have rented at Pajaro Dunes for years and this unit was the ONLY disappointing one. Photos made it look much nicer than it was in reality. None of the dishes matched, NO bakeware for the oven, Nothing other than the shower has been updated since the day it was built (old, rusted bathroom sinks!) filthy dirty baseboards and carpeting, mildew smelling master bedroom mattress/pillows. Really disappointing than VRBO represents this place

Location can't be beat

We had a wonderful stay at the property and enjoyed our time in the area. My family enjoyed the beach and the recreation options offered in the community, like pickleball. I did not give this property 5 stars, as it can use a bit of updating. It was however, clean, great views and had everything we needed for our stay.

Perfect size for a family of 4

Great location to the beach. Easy access. Clean and well kept. Really needs some modern updates. 15 year old stereo that will not connect with any of our devices. Only one VERY small Tv in the living room and nothing in the bedrooms. We enjoy relaxing in the units we rent as well as enjoying the area so some updates in the unit would have made the stay more enjoyable. Not really a complaint but a suggestion. Thank you!

Comfortable and clean. Convenient to the beach. Heater in the living area did not work. There were no water glasses in the unit when we arrived, but the office supplied some the next day.

The property was very nice. I have to use a electric scooter and the ramps up to the third floor were easy for me to use. The shower didn’t appear to be cleaned.
