Heritage Woods
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Heritage Woods property. The neighborhood is beautiful with an eclectic mix of houses that appear to have been built within the last 20-30 years with several newer construction homes. The subject house seems to be amongst the older homes in the neighborhood.
Unfortunately, the house is currently only equipped with one refrigerator, which was not sufficient for our family of 11. The bathrooms were mostly 20-30 years old with a few that had been updated in the last 10 years. The sliding doors to gain access to the rear of the house were either very difficult to operate or nearly nonfunctional. The bikes provided that we used were in need of repair. The coaster brakes on two of the bikes we used left us dragging our feet to stop the bikes as the brakes didn’t work. The roof to the house had several spots of mold/mildew showing that should have been pressure washed before it was allowed to get to the state it was in.
Having stated the negative points, the family room had beautiful windows and sky lights. The swimming pool was beautiful and the pool service did come at least once during the week. We had a lot of fun using the kayaks when the tide was in, but I will note that when the tide was out, the floating dock was on land.
As stated, overall we enjoyed our stay, but felt the rent was disproportionate to the condition of the bathrooms and other items noted. As such, a 3/5 star rating is the best I can provide.
