The lock on the door did not work, the manager walked us through several different codes. Then they said there’s a lock box on the side. We worked through several different codes ,one finally worked after a half an hour. Went inside the place was dated but OK that night when we went to our bedrooms, the master bedroom had a bed that looked like you were going down a slide. The twin bed on the bottom floor was the same way the box springs on both of them were totally broken and listening to one side. The range above the stove had no safety guard no filter. It was a grease fire waiting to happen. One side of the house the breakers went out several times after calling the manager they said we could have a blowup mattress. Very unclean, outdated, cabin in Shaver.

The pictures are deceiving. This is a very outdated and very unclean home. Every room has dust bunnies and dust on the ceiling fans. We felt like debris was floating around the home at all hours. The bathrooms were especially unclean with mold all over. The towels and linens provided are dingy and rough. Some pillows didn't even have a pillow case. There wasn't much in the kitchen to use to cook our own meals. What was there seemed outdated and again, unclean. We noticed on the last night that sewage was also leaking from the home.

Staircase to get to the front door is an accident waiting to happen

The stairs were old and the wood slats were slit, the bannister had splintered wood. The porch was filthy, a broken chair and a disgusting tablecloth on the porch table. The inside of the cabin was stuffy because we couldn’t open the windows because the screens were ripped. The mattresses were very uncomfortable too..

Pandora home

Lovely stay! So cozy and cute. I like that it was close to the stores/restaurant, the fireplace/stovetop thing was nice it really did keep us warm! The beds were nice, they were enough for a family of 7 + 1 guest. The cabin had everything we needed, although the tv did not work since it does not have cable, we were able to play monopoly to keep us entertained.

The TV didn't work at all, Dog poop by front steps, only two tall pans to cook with, very dirty, bags of garbage left in living room with bathroom mess, futon very dirty, Kitchen lights out, alot of broken fixtures, dirty cleaning gloves on the floor, sheets smelly so did not use and brought own blankets.

Will not rent again.

Location was great. Rental was not so great. TV did not work, ceiling fan did not work, stains on the sheets, yikes. The couch arm rest is broken and kept falling off when you sit down, But had a great time at the lake. Would not recommend this rental unit. Vacasa should have a standard for what they are renting but I think the $ forces them to sacrifice quality.

We had a great time the cabin was roomy and very clean

This house needs upgrades desperately

One star is only due to convenient location. Otherwise, the AC was not working, we really struggled sleeping on hot summer nights. There was no dishwasher, which added to the chores. The upper floor toilet/bath was cramped and had no exhaust. Towels in the upper bath were stored underneath the wash basin sink!! Towels were stinking due to this. The beds were uneven and not comfortable for sleeping. The blankets were not clean (fortunately did not have to use it due to summer) and the storage cabinets were old and not working smoothly.

Comments for property management

The bottom front lock spun and would not lock. There was a significant amount of water in the refrigerator on the top shelf and under the crispers that is likely coming from the freezer. The kettle is falling apart and is leaving metal pieces in the water. Our stay was good and enjoyable. Just wanted someone to address the above issues for those who will be staying next.

Disappointed

The absolute best thing about this place was how close to town it was. But that’s really it. My first big issue was the refrigerator. It was room temperature the entire time which led to all of our food staying warm. I had to place my refrigerator items in the freezer just to keep them cold or keep item in an ice chest with ice to make sure our food didn’t spoil. That was extremely upsetting. The quality of the furnishings weren’t absolutely horrible but they were extremely worn. I believe it’s time to upgrade the bedding at least. I think it would of been much better with furniture thats better maintained. The kitchen area is rather small and there isn’t a whole lot of storage room for food so it’s not ideal for a stay that is longer then a day or two if you plan on cooking a lot. Also I don’t understand what the issue was with the gas grill. The first night there I decided to bbq and although the burners were on high the entire time, it took a really long time to cook the food on the grill. I believe that needs to be looked into. It was rather hot in the cabin and we weren’t able to adjust the settings on the thermostat which was disappointing. No one wants to be uncomfortable in their living quarters. It was rather warm and I would’ve liked to adjust the AC. There also seemed to be an issue with the water heater because the hot water would run out after 1 shower. I don’t recommend staying at Pandora. I have booked with vacasa in the past and have had wonderful experiences but this stay was definitely not it.

Comfy and cozy

We loved how convenient the area was right across from food, gas and sports stores! The drive there was easy and clear! The neighbors were friendly and helpful. Inside was very clean and tidy the owners go above and beyond to make sure you have all necessities needed, as far all kitchen utensils and tools, laundry pods and extra blankets, they are very thoughtful in ensuring a wonderful stress free stay! We will definitely book Pandora again!

Needs a little attention

When I pulled up to the house there was a bag of trash on the driveway. Went inside to find more trash. Kitchen sink had trash, bathroom had trash. Home was not cleaned well enough at all... ESPECIALLY in today’s world. I was incredibly disappointed. Spent the entire first day of two cleaning so my family felt safe.

Cozy Cabin, but seriously needs some repairs.

Place was nice. It Carrie's alot of post and pans so that's really nice. It was also very clean upon arrival. Some of the negatives had to have been, the water heater would run out after ten minutes of use so when we showered it had to be 30 min to an hour apart if you wanted hot water. One of the stairs is really rocky while stepping on it and feels like it can go out at any moment (the stairs outside). The power went out for 2 of the rooms half way into our stay, tried to locate the breaker box but couldnt find it so we were stuck with no power. The washing machine didnt work at all, and the water valve leading to it would leak when you tried to wash. If your big on wifi well, it's a pretty poor connection 80% of the time. I know these are all simple things. And I could have honestly fixed most of it (I'm a pretty good handyman) but were supposed to be on vacation not at work. Overall place was alright. Would I stay here again? Probably not, would I rent through Vacasa, probably, Yeah sure.

Our week long winter vaction

Let me just say, if you plan on staying longer than a weekend, and are going to be cooking, pick a differnt place. The kitchen is ridiculously small with no place to store food, especially for 8 people for a week. Also, with no dishwasher, you will spend a lot of time washing dishes. The beds downstairs were very uncomfortable and the place could use some new pillows and sheets. There were plenty of blankets. We packed thinking we would have a washer and dryer, but the washer didn't work and was moldy. I used a towel with bleach water to wipe down the stair rail and it turned the towel black. Yuck! Well, enough said.
