BEACH CLIFF BEAUTY - Fantastic views on Lake Superior and Silver Creek

This 2 story home, with basement, situated on Lake Superior and Silver Creek has over 300 ft Lake Shore and 400 ft on the river. There is lots of room to spread out. Perfect spot for putting in canoes/kayaks and fishing. Great for sunsets and sliding, skipping rocks and bonfires. Having beach access and being up on the "cliffs" (or hill) is a plus. And with the comfy sun room you can truly experience "Superior" views. Full kitchen, internet(not super fast, but you come here to slow down and get off your devices. Perfect excuse to unplug 🙂 or use your hot spot to connect to whatever device you are hoping to use.) Washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, satellite TV, pellet stove. It is close to Goosebury Falls and Split Rock Lighthouse. Plenty of great hiking/mt. biking/cc skiing trails nearby and less than a mile from getting on the Superior Hiking Trail and just over a mile from Betty's Pies. Perfect location for exploring the North Shore!

Superb location on Lake Superior

Absolutely loved our stay here. Property was just as described. The location is amazing, directly on the lake. Very private. We had a pair of bald eagles to watch all weekend.

Lake Superior Paradise

My husband and I stayed here in September for a week and the rental was perfect. The house has everything you need and is cozy. The view is perfect! We loved the private beach areas for rock hunting, fishing, and campfires. We loved watching the freighters go by and seeing all the wildlife. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location!

Our family of six had a fantastic week staying at this property. The location is simply gorgeous. The house is cozy and there was plenty of room for us to spread out, but also great areas for playing games together, having meals, etc. I simply can't say enough about the property itself. We had so much fun down by the shore looking for agates and having bonfires. The water was crystal clear. We've rented a variety of houses and cabins over the years and I can easily say this was our favorite.

Private Rock Beach

Family with young kids. We picked the property because of the proximity to Two Harbors (7 min) and the private beach. The property is very private. Great sunroom and deck space to enjoy the incredible views. Kids spent hours hunting for agates and skipping rocks. The house is worn but has everything you need for a North Shore getaway. The kitchen was stocked with all cooking ware. Beds were comfortable and extra linens available. We were refunded about 30% of total cost due to a couple issues including lots of beetle bugs inside the house. The many holes in the window screens and missing window screens are a Catch 22 with no AC and hot buggy weather.

Beautiful Lake Superior

Beautiful spot to take in Lake Superior. Great location for the lake with a private beach. The deck and the house offer breathtaking views. The house is spacious for family to spread out if needed while staying for extended period. Location is ideal for short day trips to nearby attractions. Lots of wildlife to observe such as rabbits, eagles, hawks, hummingbirds, and fish. Our only complaint during the stay was that we had problems with many centipede bugs in the house during our stay which may be common for an older house near water, but it would make this location ideal if this was addressed.

Fantastic Views

Great place to relax and enjoy the view. No AC... No problem, just open the windows and let the lake experience take over. Excellent location for day tripping to Duluth, into the woods or anywhere along the north shore.

Um, I don’t really want to share

The house was so perfect for our group I really do not want it to become in demand!! Beautiful setting, of course! Lake plus creek equals fabulous bird watching, and no real complaint if the weather isn’t great. You can sit in the sunroom and watch it all. The house is older and been has been added on to so the floor plan is delightfully quirky. Decor is pleasant Lake Home. Ample space for dining and lounging. The kitchen is very well supplied. We never turned on the televisions. I will be booking this VRBO for the groups’ 33rd year in 2025. So, back off, y’all, okay?

Fantastic Lake Superior Views

Having stayed at many North Shore rental homes and once owned a property myself, I can confirm this is one of the best lake view rentals available. Wide open views in both directions, but also with some interesting contours. Really excellent. The home itself is a bit worn out, but is well stocked and set up for renters. Location is very good for accessing humous popular sites within a short drive.
