The condo was perfect for a family beach get away. The views were spectacular, there was plenty of space and accommodated the entire family at the dinner table and family room seating. Everything was very clean and included all amenities as described. I would 100% re/book for future beach stays.
We loved the location right on the beach, the space suited our needs but did have lots of signs of aging that don’t show in the listing, rusty fixtures, old appliances, rickety cabinets etc, but it didn’t keep us from enjoying our stay. Nice quiet and safe community.
Overall, property was adequate; however it needed some TLC and updating. Patios had old wood with nailheads protruding up which caught our feet (no injuries luckily) and railing coming apart at corner. Old popcorn ceiling w/ kitchen fluorescent lighting having bugs in the canned mount. Walls needed touch up with a coat of paint. Master bathroom shower door needed cleaned. Kitchen cabinets and counters had some “dings” from use since probably 1970. Furniture was good.
Would we stay there again? Probably not.
Driving in through the many many crops of central valley farmland, I worried a bit about where we were staying. However, as soon as we arrived to the gates we were immediately transported to a serene beautiful natural environment of flowing water, tranquil nature sounds, and beautiful 360 views. We were staying in Pelican Point 80 which is the furthest property out. There are two balconies in the condo, and both offer stunning views of nature. I was afraid that perhaps the sounds of the birds may be annoying, but it was quite the opposite. It was so peaceful to sit out and just enjoy the views, the sounds of the ocean waves crashing, the birds, and the cool crisp clean ocean air. This place was magical! Inside was very nice and cozy. There is a fireplace in the living room, the beds in the room were cozy. The washer and dryer were a bonus and came in handy, and all the necessities you could need for a kitchen set up were available to us there.
Views of water from all windows. Open, very comfortable. Great location-last unit so unobstructed view. Bathrooms clean, but old. Real fireplace-get or bring wood. Great table for eating and playing games for the six of us.

supply and repairs needed
Both showers need to be upgraded and work properly.
Also, there was no supply of paper towels, paper toilet, and soap at all!!! This was not good when you pay a lot for your stay!
The was no mention of this when booking!!!
We stayed in Pelican 80 for a long weekend at the beginning of August.
Overall the property complex is well maintained and clean. The accessibility to the beach is excellent.
The condo was very functional, it's old but functional:
-It had all the kitchen utensils to make meals.
-Towels for the beach and general use in the house were provided.
-Bathrooms were well equipped and the hot water was plenty for a group of 5 adults and one baby.
-Chairs for the beach.
-Clean linens and plenty of blankets.
-Soaps for all bathrooms and kitchen, also shampoo.
The only issues I encountered is that the sliding door for one of the bathrooms should be replaced, as it's quite hard to slide.
Other than that, I would go there again as it was quite lovely.

Needs major maintenance
Although this condo is roomy and has a good location, it is in need of major repairs and cleaning. The 2 sliding doors are broken and can not be locked, a major safety issue. The carpets and upholstery are filthy. Even the slip covers are dirty. Carpet is fraying, furniture marked up, fire pit on the deck is a wreck and dirt flies everywhere.
The cheap plastic outdoor tables are so unsightly, I had to buy table cloths to cover them . The disappointing fact is I rented this before and told VRBO about the above mentioned concerns and they told me that all of this would be fixed.
It’s a lot of money to spend for a property that is so shabby.
The location is marvelous, and the kids really enjoyed time at the beach. Inside, found ants in the master bath. More distressingly, after a day outdoors could not get hot water for 30-40 minutes, so I took a near-cold shower.
This was a great place to get some socially distant beach time. We had no trouble at all spending all day at the beach and not being close to any other groups of people. The bioluminescent waves at night were awesome. Since it's not clear from the description: 1 bedroom has a king bed, and the other 2 bedrooms have 2 twin beds each. One bathroom has a tub with a shower and the other has only a shower. There are ramps from the parking lot most of the way to the unit, with only 3 steps to climb (with a railing on the side). This was our 4th visit to Pajaro Dunes over the years, and we'll definitely be back!
Overall good experience and stay. Beach was very close, enjoyed the views ,
Would definitely recommend to anyone with family to come and stay, quiet and peaceful surroundings, lot of places to see

Wonderful location
This property is in a quiet location with fabulous views of the river and all the wildlife there. From the second floor location we were able to watch a sea lion chasing fish for lunch just below the surface of the river. The birds were noisy and a constant source of entertainment. There is a view of the ocean, but it is not impressive.
The property itself is adequate but shabby. The property owner did not respond to my question about the kind of beds. Two of the rooms have twin beds.
Disappointed that there was only 1 bedroom with a larger bed. Two bedrooms had twin beds only. The small couch has become uncomfortable. Two great porches. The views were what we were expecting and wanting. Were able to watch an osprey catch fish, many pelicans including diving for fish in the river, cormorants, geese, and other water birds. Views of the ocean in the distance, Moss Landing's PG & E power plant, croplands, the Pajaro River, and Watsonville Slough. Home was clean but showing wear and tear in a few areas. Overall was a good stay. We would suggest having at least a queen bed in one of the other bedrooms.
