Hi! Welcome to Wisteria, the ultimate family cabin where you can have the best of both worlds! Because of its prime location, not only will you avoid extra town taxes and fees upon booking, but you will also beat hours of Hochatown traffic and still have quick access to restaurants, shopping and casinos as well as Broken Bow Lake, the State Park and hiking trails.
At Wisteria, adults can relax in the hot tub while kids enjoy the playground, before everyone gathers around the fire pit for s'mores! What more could you ask for to relax and unwind as a family?!

The open floor plan allows for family time whether you are cooking in the fully-stocked kitchen or lounging in open concept living area. Wisteria also features Roku Smart TVs in each bedroom and living area.

This cabin is perfectly situated between all the Hochatown attractions (6 miles away) and the town of Broken Bow (4 miles away). It’s a short drive to Broken Bow Lake & Marina where you can rent jet skis or a boat to enjoy the activities on the lake. How about a day on the river? You can also enjoy kayaking or tubing! Bring your boat! There is plenty of room to park!

There are also activities from zip-lining to horseback riding. Hochatown is also known for its breweries, wineries and restaurants. Wisteria is also in close proximity to Beavers Bend State Park.

You will have one neighbor (sister property), but divided by a fence. There is plenty of distance! There is a private drive off of the highway and no other cabins within view.

Comfy and cozy!

Perfect for a weekend get away! The host fro start to finish were available for questions and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The cabin was the perfect place to unplug and relax. Hottub and fire pit were where we spent most of our time enjoying the views and nature sounds. We definitely will be booking this place again!

Vacation me time

I wanted a peaceful restful place to spend some quality time with just us girlfriends. Wisteria is a perfect worry free nook of a place for us. Just enough area activities and attractions to give us some fun that we don't get in the DFW area. Very polite and proactive hosts for the few minor needs Afor communication. Thank you for the kind and professional care. We would definitely recommend to others seeking just to get away for a bit. Good, but could improve.. Not for the cook

Overall, I will say our stay was okay. Nothing was absurdly wrong but all of the little things begin to add up and became an inconvenience over our short stay of 2 nights. I will start with the positives. The layout and size of the cabin was nice! It was the perfect size for our family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers. The overall feeling of the cabin was welcoming and cozy. Unfortunately I do have several negatives to mention and I will say I am detailed person and meticulous about cleaning so take that as you will. First, there was almost no soap (hand soap or dish soap) on property. I had to add water to what was there just to get by for the 2 nights we stayed. It made washing any dishes a pain and there wasn’t anything there to scrub them with. We did quite a bit of cooking while we were here and I can say this was probably the most disappointing thing. The kitchen utensils and pots and pans were in rough shape. The bottoms of the pots were scratched up pretty bad and noticed some of the spoons were melted. Some of the dishes were not the cleanest. After noticing that right away I was starting to worry about other things being clean. The sheets and mattresses were in good shape. I ended up doing some laundry to ensure the bathroom rug and extra blankets were clean as they didn’t appear so. I think I just expected things to be a bit cleaner given the high ratings of the property.

Not what I expected

The property was clean and well suited for our stay. Our 7 year old was thrilled with the playset and building a fire at night. The host was very helpful and responsive. I booked this property based on the description, pictures, and overall rating. Admittedly, I did not read the other reviews. I was extremely surprised and upset to find that this property is right off the highway. The pictures make it look secluded in the woods but instead of nature sounds, it is highway sounds surrounding the place. Instead of moonlight, it's the neighbor's security lights illuminating the yard at night. We enjoyed our stay but if you're looking for a quiet place in the woods, this is not it.

Honeymoon getaway

My wife and I went here for our honeymoon. It was perfect! The cabin is super close to Hocha town and Broken Bow. The hosts were very accommodating. The hot tub got super hot and felt amazing at night. Beautiful scenery! We will definitely be back!

Great access to activities, amazing outdoor space

Our family of 4 stayed at this property for 5 nights in the fall. We had never been to this area and didn't know much in advance about the lay of the land. We have stayed at several other VRBO's over the years and find that each property has it's own flavor. We absolutely loved the outdoor space. The ambiance of the lighting with nightly fires in the fire pit was our favorite part of the trip. We also really enjoyed the swing set and the hot tub. The furniture was comfortable and sufficient for our crew. We also had excellent communication from the hosts throughout our trip as we had a few questions, which were each responded to very quickly, sometimes with near immediate calls depending on the specifics of the question. That was very much appreciated! We found the listing to be accurate and the previous reviews to be accurate as well. The road noise was a little worse than we anticipated (even though we were aware of it per the listing). We live by a highway at home and were expecting something more similar to our typical highway experience. It was not an issue at all at night and we used the provided sound machines. The games table was one of the key pieces that caused us to select this property and unfortunately something occurred shortly before our arrival and it had to be removed. The host did communicate this to us promptly and in advance of our arrival. Overall, we enjoyed the accommodation and found the location to be very convenient for our activities!

It's right off the main road and it's right in between broken bow and The next main town it's within minutes of what you're going there for for this price it exceeds my expectations and the host was fantastic Check in process super easy and the place had everything we needed It felt so cozy is lovely If I'm back in the area I hope to stay with them again

Love this place

Even with it being close to one of the main streets it was very quiet. We all enjoyed ourselves and our dogs were fine to stay close while our kids played on the swing set

Overall I gave 5 stars. Very clean and a great location. Was not happy with the noise from the cars on the highway, but the sound machine provided drowned out the noise. The water pressure was amazing. Tub drain is slow and probably needs snaked. Absolute favorite was the hot tub and backporch and firepit.

Great Getaway!

The cabin was very clean & the perfect size for 2-4 people. I was under the impression, the house was located more off the main highway, but when you’re in the backyard, you forget all about it. The cabin was also centrally located to drive to downtown Broken Bow, Beavers Bend State Park and Hochatown. My husband and were very impressed & would refer this cabin rental anytime!
