Beläget på vackra Beaver Island i Lake Michigan. Dra nytta av vacker soluppgång / solnedgångar, vandring, båtliv, fiske, kajakpaddling och mycket mer. Dold bort, men ändå rätt i stan. Nyrenoverade ett sovrum och en halv sovrum med extra sovande i det gemensamma området. Handikappanpassat badrum. Great place to stay

Our stay was lovely

Thank you for another wonderful stay-- so close to town, but when we heard that the Perseid meteor shower was visible, we laid on the deck by the front door and did some sky watching. We could see the milky way! The property is quiet and comfortable.

Good Times on BI

The layout of the house, bedroom and shower is a little odd, but had plenty of room and enjoyed our stay. We were usually out adventuring around the island all day. The location is very convenient to town and more importantly....Daddy Frank's Ice Cream Shop!

Perfect downtown location

The spot is located right next to downtown. It’s absolutely perfect for a small family or two couples. You can walk to town - that’s how close it is to everything.

Great Location and Helpful Hosts

My sister and I brought our parents on a surprise trip to Beaver Island and this was the perfect base for our many adventures. We did not bring a car and it was just a quick walk down the road to shops, museums, restaurants, and the beach. We had bikes that allowed us to travel further out and the host even brought a bike for us to borrow. Despite the convenient location, it was very quiet and we enjoyed our time relaxing on the patio between adventures.

Perfect for the 2 of us!

My husband and I rented this property for a long weekend, and it was wonderful! Lois and her husband were so welcoming and friendly. The rental was the perfect size for just the two of us (but can also accommodate 2 more), and the location of the property made it an ideal "landing spot" as we explored the community, much of it within easy walking distance. I absolutely recommend this rental!

Nice place in great location

The rental unit was just as described and shown. Was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The location is great. Walking distance to town. We had a great time and would love to come back again.

Quiet location close to town

The property was in a great, quiet location. It could use some repairs and updates, such as hooks for towels and brighter bathroom lighting. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. We were lucky enough to meet our host host and is a very thoughtful and kind person.

Lovely space for our family of four, very clean and well stocked! We walked to the beach and downtown and the ferry. We rented e-bikes for longer distance exploration. We would definitely return!

Lovely location

We had tried to look at the night sky from the south side of the island, but the clouds got on the way. The next night we laid on the deck of this property and could see meteors, satellites, and even the Milky Way! It’s a lovely location, and we enjoyed our time there.

Lovely and Modern

We were SO SATISFIED with this listing. It was modern and had a bit of an art-deco feel. Yes, we missed a full kitchen but were able to get along fine. Lois was SUPER nice and so helpful. Highly recommend.

Very nice! Very convenient!

My brother-in-law and I needed a place to stay for two days of fishing on Beaver Island and Lois was kind to offer this property which exactly suited our needs. With the three choices for sleeping I was able to provide him with the separate bedroom and the needed separation from my snoring. The kitchen and refrigerator provided the necessities we needed for a brief stay and all the facilities were very clean. The bathroom separate from the shower was also a nice touch. Clean. Convenient. Nicely appointed. Perfect for our stay on Beaver Island! Lois even picked us up from the airport! Wonderful trip. Thank you, Lois! We will stay again.

My family has been on Beaver Island for 6 generation. We have a strong, proud heritage since about 1856. I am an Artist, teacher and retired RN. My husband is a retired High School Administrator. We own the rental, a home and an Art Gallery on the island.

Beaver Island is a little slice of Paradise. It is home to many warm, good hearted and friendly people. The property is locate in town, but tucked away off the main street. Within walking distance from the harbor, dining, ice cream and the beach. Hopefully you will carry home a piece of the island in your heart.
